Morgan Wallen Collaborates with Lil Durk on “Broadway Girls”

Morgan Wallen collaborates with Lil Durk on new song, “Broadway Girls” available now, December 17th, on all streaming platforms. Learn more about the new track here.

Earlier this year, country superstar, Morgan Wallen shared a clip on social media of a song fans named “Broadway Girls.” The clip and the lyrics went viral quickly, leaving fans begging Wallen to release the song. Today, the singer-songwriter is doing just that, but in an unexpected way! Wallen collaborated with famed rapper Lil Durk on a killer version of “Broadway Girls.”

“I met her down at Aldean’s // She said she that saw me walking in about a mile away // Bouncers had to take her phone and that just took her smile away // She said I’m too drunk and crazy she don’t like the way I dance // She said you don’t have to join in //She said she’d take a chance””

The new song features the verse we have come to love from the previously released clip, as well as, new verses by Lil Durk. The collaboration is fresh, innovative, and unexpected. Sonically, the song pushes the envelope for Wallen, proving that he is a star in every sense of the word.

The song is a complete jam! Lil Durk and Wallen created something that is unlike anything else on the music scene right now, and we are here for it!

Fans can catch Wallen on tour next year. Check out the details here.

Multi-platinum selling singer, Chris Lane is leaving it all out in the open on his brand new song. Today, the artist releases a tender and romantic new track entitled, “Stop Coming Over.”

Written by Rocky Block, Jordan Dozzi and Brett Tyler, Lane is able to make the lyrics come to life with his signature country-soul sound. Throughout the song, the singer expresses his desire to take the next step in a relationship. Although a married man and father in real life, Lane is able to convey the feelings of wanting a relationship to progress in a way that feels so real and relatable.

“Yeah things been going good // You and me been going great // It’s time to have a conversation // So girl let’s conversate // You already got a drawer // Hair pins on the floors // And half the bathroom  // Baby these four walls hate it when you’re gone // So I have to ask you // Hey what you say, we decorate and slap some paint on these doors”

HARDY Collabs with Morgan Wallen & Chris Shiflett on New Song “Goin’ Nowhere”

HARDY collaborates with Morgan Wallen and Chris Shiflett on final new HIXTAPE song, “Goin’ Nowhere,” out now, December 10th. Listen to the new song here.

In the final track off the incredible record HIXTAPE VOL 2., HARDY collaborates with his label-mate and friend, Morgan Wallen and the Foo Fighters’ Chris Shiflett. The new song, “Goin’ Nowhere” is a true-blue country song. It is the perfect tune to close out an incredible project of music and collaborations.

The song begins with a verse sung by HARDY. The singer-songwriter loves his small-town roots. Wallen lends his voice to the second verse, furthering the notion that these men are made for the small-town stoplights and stars in the sky. Of course, throughout the entire song, the hard-rock nature is on full-display. Shiflett’s guitar solo is also a prominent feature.

“‘Cause I’m stuck in this town in my truck riding ’round with a plus of log cut in my lip // You’d have to cut the whole tree down // Can’t rip these roots out the ground ain’t getting out and I don’t care // ‘Cause why in the hell would I leave // I don’t need anything but fried chicken and crickets”

There is nothing quite like a HARDY and Wallen collab. Fans can catch the two on stage next year during The Dangerous Tour. Find all the information here.

Blake Shelton: ‘Body Language Deluxe’ – Album Review

Country superstar, Blake Shelton released the deluxe version of his eleventh studio album Body Language on Friday (December 3), containing four new tracks including his current single “Come Back As A Country Boy.” Keep reading below as we discuss these tracks in more detail.

Blake Shelton has had a legendary career in country music, making him a celebrity inside the genre and out. With six platinum records, 28 number-one singles, and nine GRAMMY-nominations, Shelton will go down as one of the biggest artists in country music history. His ability to blend modern and traditional country sounds has allowed him to stay at the forefront of the genre.

Jordan Schmidt and HARDY received writing credits on the first two songs. “Come Back As A Country Boy” has a similar vibe to his 4x Platinum smash hit, “God’s Country,” paying homage to country life and the hard-working, small town folk. Like “God’s Country,” “Come Back As A Country Boy” contains backing steel-guitar and woodsy sounds. “Fire Up The Night” is tailgate party anthem which also features HARDY’s vocals. The two describe what needs to happen to get the good time started. Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley also helped pen this song, along with Bart Butler.

The other two songs are placed on the back of the record. “Throw It On Back” is another fun, drinking tune featuring iconic 90s country duo, Brooks & Dunn. They discuss the feeling they get when they revert back to old-school items, styles, and songs. The project concludes with a love song Shelton co-wrote with Craig Wiseman titled “We Can Reach The Stars.”  Shelton sings about how strong the love is between him and his romantic partner and how it allows them to overcome even the most difficult of times.

The budding romance is at the forefront of the country-rock slow-jam. Aldean continues to keep his southern charm on the track, keeping with his classic, signature sound.
