Founded in December 2015, Country Swag has grown into New York City’s premier country-music lifestyle brand — centered on NYC but resonating across the country. Over the past decade, we’ve blended three core pillars: media, events, and apparel — all dedicated to celebrating and amplifying modern country culture.

Media & Content: From behind-the-scenes interviews with rising and established artists, to album reviews, new-music alerts, lighthearted country-humor features, and original video from pop-ups and live concerts. We give country fans in NYC (and beyond) the full soundtrack + story of the scene.
- Events & Experiences: We produce curated, unforgettable live events and experiences — often “first-of-its-kind” moments for the NYC country scene. From intimate pop-ups to sold-out takeovers, Country Swag has created and collaborated on experiences featuring artists like Jon Pardi, Jordan Davis, Cole Swindell, Russell Dickerson, HARDY, Jake Owen, Ashley Cooke, Adam Doleac, and many more. We’re not just producing events — we’re building community, bridging Nashville and New York, spotlighting both rising and established talent, and fueling the energy of the largest music market in the country.

WHY WE EXIST
Country Swag was built to fill a gap: a true country-music community in New York City. We exist for the fans who grew up on country but live in the city — for the artists breaking genre rules — and for the brands that want to meet this audience authentically. We’re the bridge between Nashville’s storytelling and NYC’s energy.

Our Team
Stephanie Wagner
Founder
Country Swag Founder Stephanie Wagner grew up in Broad Channel, a tight-knit community in Queens, NY. She began her career in event management at a young age with IGC Hospitality, a prominent food and beverage company in NYC.
While organizing several successful country music events with IGC, Stephanie saw the untapped potential for country music in New York City. Combining her passion for country music and event planning, she founded Country Swag (formerly NYCountry Swag).
Stephanie credits her mother with inspiring her love of music. From watching music videos and awards shows to listening to classic artists like Patsy Cline and Elvis Presley, her earliest memories of music are tied to her mom.
Fun Fact: The name “Swag” was a nickname long before Country Swag was born—derived from her initials, S WAGner.

Lauren Davidson is a New York-based singer-songwriter. Blending New York City vibes with the rich tones of Contemporary Country Music, she has created a genre all her own, and audiences and critics just can’t get enough.
Longtime friend and supporter of the Country Swag brand, Lauren brings her natural charm and enthusiasm to her interviews as the brands leading on-air host.
