Jason-Aldean-Carrie-Underwood-if-i-didnt-love-you-new-song-if-didn't-love-you

Jason Aldean Duets With Carrie Underwood on “If I Didn’t Love You”

Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood duet on new song, “If I Didn’t Love You”, available everywhere now, July 23rd. When two powerhouses come together on a ballad like this, it’s bound to be a hit. Take a look below as we dig a little deeper into the new song.

Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood’s new song, “If I Didn’t Love You”, so beautifully showcases each of their own vocal talents in the most perfect blend. Aldean announced the song just days before the drop with a mystery duet partner, but fans quickly began to speculate that it was Underwood and sure enough, it was!

“If I Didn’t Love You” is a song about two people still very much in love with each other but who are no longer together. There’s no denying how much they still care about each other because of how much they still think about them and how badly they can’t get over them, no matter what they do. If they didn’t love them, they wouldn’t be hurting like they are. The two sides telling the same story makes it even harder because they both feel the same way, but the other doesn’t know it. If they did, they might not have to feel the pain that they are.

If I didn’t love you, I’d be good by now // I’d be better than barely getting by somehow // Yeah it would be easy not to miss you // Wonder about who’s with you // Turn the want you off whenever I want too // If I didn’t love you

Earlier this week, Aldean earned his 25th No.1 with “Blame It on You”, a song off his most recent album,  9. Aldean is also gearing up to go on tour, the Back in the Saddle Tour, which kicks off in Virginia Beach on August 5th.

Underwood’s most recent piece of work was a gospel album, My Savior, which she released earlier this year in March. She will be kicking off her Vegas Residency, Reflection, at the end of this year.

Jason Aldean Earns 25th #1 Song with “Blame It On You”

Jason Aldean earns 25th number one (#1) song with “Blame It On You.” The single is officially the top song at country radio.

Fans of Jason Aldean have nothing to worry about! The superstar has been a mainstay in country music for fifteen years. Last October, his radio single “Got What I Got” earned him his 24th career number one song. Today, Aldean adds “Blame It On You” to his impressive catalog of hits.

“Blame It On You” is officially the singer’s 25th number one single. The song is the third single from Aldean’s ninth studio album, 9. The heartache song is all about recognizing your wrongdoings in a broken relationship. It is nice to see an admittance of guilt in a country song. It showcases the gamut of emotions in a breakup.

“I could blame it on the whiskey // I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t even miss me // Gave you a million reasons girl not to be with me // Should’ve never let you goo // Should’ve never watched you go // I could blame it on a good high // Let it take the blame for why you told me goodbye”

It will be interesting to see what Aldean has coming down the pipeline for his 10th studio album. In his career, he has already surpassed artists like Reba McEntire and Kenny Chesney, who have 24 and 23 number ones respectively. Congrats to Jason Aldean and his team on the number one!

8 Things We Miss the Most About Country Music Concerts

It has been a year without live music, and we still desperately miss country music concerts. However, we see the light at the end of the tunnel with artists like Eric Church and Kane Brown announcing future tour dates! Until then though, here are the 8 things we miss the most about country music concerts.

  1. The Good Vibes

There is absolutely nothing like listening to live music. The atmosphere, the adrenaline, the artists, the fans, absolutely EVERYTHING feels magical. We cannot wait for that feeling again!

  1. The Sound of Live Music

Albums and records are great, but there is nothing quite like hearing your favorite artist perform live. There are so many artists that we cannot wait to see as soon as we get back to some resemblance of normalcy.

  1. The Tailgate

If you have ever joined us at a show, especially at Jones Beach, then you know how much we love to tailgate! The tailgate sets the tone for the rest of the night and allows fans to connect and bond over the music.

  1. Connecting with Other Fans

One of the things we love most about NYCountry Swag is getting to connect with our followers at live shows by some of our favorite artists all across New York City and Long Island.

  1. Singing Along to Every Song

This one goes without saying. We even miss the raspy voice you get the day after the concert from singing your heart out for three hours straight!

  1. The $15 Beers at the Venue

What we would do to pay that much for a beer right now…

  1. Discovering new music acts to love

Although we pride ourselves on being tastemakers in the industry and always know all the acts performing at concerts, we love watching our friends and other fans experience a new artist for the first time. We’ll never forget when Tenille Townes took the stage as an opener at Dierks Bentley’s concert, and how crazy everyone went for the newcomer.

  1. Hearing Our Favorite Song Live

At this point, we have a whole list of songs that we cannot wait to hear live! We’re sure you do too!

Let us know, what are you missing most about concerts?! and sure to check out the full list of upcoming tours here.

Jason Aldean’s “Got What I Got” Tops Charts and Earns Him 24th Career #1

Jason Aldean’s “Got What I Got” earns him his 24th career number one as the song hits the top spot on the country charts this week.

For fifteen years, superstar Jason Aldean has been a staple in country music. Throughout the years, Aldean has scored 23 number one singles, including hits like “Why,” “She’s Country,” and “You Make It Easy” in his career so far up until today. Today marks the moment Aldean’s single “Got What I Got” off his latest record 9 goes number one, solidifying its spot as his 24th hit song!

“When I got what I got, I don’t miss what I had / The old me before you belongs to the past / In the back of your mind, you might think there’s somethin’ more I want / But when I got what I got, girl, I don’t”

“Got What I Got” is the singer’s only radio single of 2020 so far, and boy is it a special one. The deeply personal song is all about being appreciative for what you have and the life you built with your family. The music video features Aldean’s children with his wife Brittany and sweet family-filmed moments with his entire family. Brittany even videoed some of the clips for her husband. Fans seem to relate deeply to Aldean’s more vulnerable side in his music!

We cannot wait to see if “Got What I Got” gets a second week at the top of the charts or if some of the rising artists like Jameson Rodgers, Matt Stell, or Russell Dickerson make it to the top spot next. Check back next week to see who takes it.

Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line Release Wolf Moon Bourbon Line

Florida Georgia Line Jason Aldean Bourbon

Friendship and bourbon sounds like the perfect storyline for a country song, doesn’t it? Well, country Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line are bringing the collaboration to real life with the release of their bourbon line, Wolf Moon Bourbon.

The 80-proof bourbon was aged for four years in charred American Oak barrels and distilled from Midwestern grains. You can expect to taste caramel, sweet corn, honey, and candied fruit, balanced by hints of oak and spice.

In a recent press release, Aldean explained how the idea of the collaboration came about after touring and befriending Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley in 2014. “There’s nothing like sharing a glass of bourbon with my crew after a show- you could say its been part of our ritual for years. Tyler and Brian have been a part of that ritual, and we wanted to create something to remind us of our favorite memories.” Wolf Moon’s name is a nod to the pack- the friends that become family. I’m looking forward to raising a glass with all my fans on the road this year.”

Hubbard and Kelley are already members of the whiskey world with their successful Old Camp Whiskey, which was released in 2016. In a recent press release, they shared, “Making good whiskey is a passion of ours, and we really wanted to create something new and fresh with Jason. We’ve had this idea for years and spent a lot of time making sure we got it just right. We’re all so proud of this and can’t wait for all of the memories to be made over Wolf Moon.”

While the award-winning artists are not on tour together this time around, it doesn’t mean they won’t be enjoying Wolf Moon on the road. Aldean just kicked off the We Back Tour with Morgan Wallen, Riley Green, and Dee Jay Silver. Florida Georgia Line is hitting the road with Kenny Chesney on the Chillaxification tour starting in April.

To see where you can get Wolf Moon Bourbon check out https://wolfmoonbourbon.com/ or follow along on Instagram.
