ERNEST and Morgan Wallen’s New Song “Flower Shops” – OUT NOW

Morgan Wallen and ERNEST’s new song, “Flower Shops” is out now, December 31st, and available on all streaming platforms. Learn more about the new track below.

If you are a fan of ERNEST or Morgan Wallen, it is likely you have already heard the stripped-down, acoustic version of “Flower Shops”. The two first teased the highly anticipated track back in August. Since then, fans have been begging for the sad, heartbreak ballad to be officially released. To build even more anticipation, ERNEST joined Wallen on stage to perform it live together on tour. Written alongside Ben Burgress and Mark Holman, ERNEST shares the inspiration behind the song and plays a sample of it on his podcast, Just Being ERNEST.

This is a traditional country-sounding song that centers around a relationship on the ropes. The subject constantly finds himself at the florist buying everything. From violets to roses to daisies, it is a desperate attempt to win back his woman’s love. Steel guitar is beautifully sprinkled all over the track. ERNEST takes the first verse and chorus, while Wallen sings the darker, second verse. Wallen laments about heavy drinking and drugs after she took the dogs and moved back in with her mom. The song ends with the two harmonizing the final chorus.

“So mister I’ll take your roses, if you cut off the thorns; she can’t take no more // I’ll buy violets and daisies to get back my baby, it’s gonna take all you got // it’s a bad day for love, but a good day for flower shops”

Wallen and ERNEST have been good friends for a while now; ERNEST even co-wrote eleven tracks on Wallen’s 10 week-number one project Dangerous: The Double Album.  ERNEST has already had a successful career as a songwriter but is looking for some of his own material to go on tour with as well. He has several singles out including “Cheers” and “American Rust,” and a nine-track project titled Locals Only released in 2019, but “Flower Shops” might be the song to put his name on the map as an entertainer.

The two performed the song together on the first night of Wallen’s The Dangerous Tour 2022 kick-off during a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden. Check out the performance below.

Today, the singer-songwriter is doing just that, but in an unexpected way! Wallen collaborated with famed rapper Lil Durk on a killer version of “Broadway Girls.”

“I met her down at Aldean’s // She said she that saw me walking in about a mile away // Bouncers had to take her phone and that just took her smile away // She said I’m too drunk and crazy she don’t like the way I dance // She said you don’t have to join in //She said she’d take a chance””

The new song features the verse we have come to love from the previously released clip, as well as, new verses by Lil Durk. The collaboration is fresh, innovative, and unexpected. Sonically, the song pushes the envelope for Wallen, proving that he is a star in every sense of the word.

HARDY Collabs with Morgan Wallen & Chris Shiflett on New Song “Goin’ Nowhere”

HARDY collaborates with Morgan Wallen and Chris Shiflett on final new HIXTAPE song, “Goin’ Nowhere,” out now, December 10th. Listen to the new song here.

In the final track off the incredible record HIXTAPE VOL 2., HARDY collaborates with his label-mate and friend, Morgan Wallen and the Foo Fighters’ Chris Shiflett. The new song, “Goin’ Nowhere” is a true-blue country song. It is the perfect tune to close out an incredible project of music and collaborations.

The song begins with a verse sung by HARDY. The singer-songwriter loves his small-town roots. Wallen lends his voice to the second verse, furthering the notion that these men are made for the small-town stoplights and stars in the sky. Of course, throughout the entire song, the hard-rock nature is on full-display. Shiflett’s guitar solo is also a prominent feature.

“‘Cause I’m stuck in this town in my truck riding ’round with a plus of log cut in my lip // You’d have to cut the whole tree down // Can’t rip these roots out the ground ain’t getting out and I don’t care // ‘Cause why in the hell would I leave // I don’t need anything but fried chicken and crickets”

There is nothing quite like a HARDY and Wallen collab. Fans can catch the two on stage next year during The Dangerous Tour. Find all the information here.

Here Are All of Luke Bryan’s Number One Songs in His Catalog

Here are all of Luke Bryan’s number one songs in his music catalog. Bryan has 28 #1 songs in his throughout his incredible career.

Luke-bryan-number-ones

Take a look at the full list of  Luke Bryan songs that have gone number one and reminisce through some fan favorites…

“Do I”- Doin’ My Thing, 2010

“Do I” was written by Bryan, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley. It was Bryan’s first ever number one, and the first off his sophomore album Doin’ My Thing. It’s a song about feeling someone slipping away and wanting the relationship to go back to how it was before.

“Rain Is A Good Thing”- Doin’ My Thing, 2010

“Rain Is A Good Thing” was written by Dallas Davison and Bryan. Perhaps one of his most staple songs, “Rain is a Good Thing” is classic Luke Bryan – combining the perfect amount of country roots and flirtation.

“Someone Else Calling You Baby”– Doin’ My Thing, 2010

“Someone Else Calling You Baby” marks the third and final No.1 to come from Bryan’s 2010 album, Doin’ My Thing. It was written by Jeff Stevens and Bryan. It’s a song about not being able to get over a recent break up and what makes it even worse is that the other person already has.

“I Don’t Want This Night to End”- Tailgates & Tanlines, 2012

“I Don’t Want This Night to End” is the first No. 1 to come from Bryan’s Tailgates & Tanlines album. It was written by Ben Hayslip, Dallas Davidson, Bryan and Rhett Akins. It’s a song about meeting someone for the first time and having such an incredible time with them that you never want that night to end.

“Drunk on You”- Tailgates & Tanlines, 2012

“Drunk on You” is the second No. 1 to come from Tailgates & Tanlines. It was written by Chris Tompkins, Josh Kear and Rodney Clawson. It’s a song about a classic country summer night that’s so perfect you don’t need any more buzz than being with your person and summertime.

“Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye” Tailgates & Tanlines, 2012

“Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye” is the third and final No. 1 song to come off the Tailgates & Tanlines album. It was written by Jeff Stevens, Bryan and Shane McAnally. It’s a song about two people who know they can’t make it work, but instead of worrying about it being over tomorrow they can spend one last night together.

“Crash My Party” – Crash My Party, 2013

“Crash My Party” is the title track and first of six No.1 songs to come from Bryan’s 2013 album. It was written by Ashley Gorley and Rodney Clawson. It’s about the girl that’s always worth wrecking plans with the boys.

“That’s My Kind of Night”– Crash My Party, 2013

“That’s My Kind of Night” was written by Ashley Gorley, Chris DeStefano and Dallas Davidson. It’s about two people who would rather spend the night out in the middle of nowhere together instead of going out on the town.

“Drink A Beer”- Crash My Party, 2013

“Drink A Beer” was written by Chris Stapleton and Jim Beavers. This is one of the most emotional songs out of Bryan’s catalog and the most personal to the artist. Even though he did not write the song, Bryan and his family relate strongly to the song due to some tragic losses that they’ve suffered. It’s a song about losing someone too soon and not being able to understand it. Instead of trying to, you just take a moment to drink a beer as you say goodbye to that special someone.

“Play it Again”– Crash My Party, 2013

“Play it Again” was written by Ashley Gorley and Dallas Davidson. It’s about the moments that can make a song go from just a song to ‘our song’ for two people and how they’ll always attach those memories to that song.

“Roller Coaster”- Crash My Party, 2013

“Roller Coaster” was written by Cole Swindell and Michael Carter. It’s about a one-week vacation fling that will leave you feeling twisted like an old beach roller coaster long after the week is over.

“I See You”- Crash My Party, 2013

“I See You” was the sixth and final No. 1 off the Crash My Party album. It was written by Ashley Gorley and Bryan. It’s a song about trying to get over someone but everywhere you look, you’re reminded of them.

“Kick The Dust Up”- Kill The Lights, 2015

“Kick The Dust Up” was the first No. 1 off Kill The Lights – the second consecutive album of Bryan’s that would rack up six No. 1’s. The next album that would come close to this amount is Bryan’s current project: Born Here, Live Here, Die Here, which currently has five. “Kick the Dust Up” was written by Ashley Gorley, Chris DeStefano and Dallas Davidson. Going back to some themes from Tailgates and Tanlines, “Kick the Dust Up” it’s about turning a cornfield into a tailgate party with your friends at the end of a long week.

“Strip it Down”- Kill The Lights, 2015

“Strip it Down” was written by Jon Nite, Bryan, and Ross Copperman. Unlike many of Bryan’s tunes, this song strips things down both figuratively and literally as two people who have lost touch reconnect.

“Home Alone Tonight” (featuring Karen Fairchild)- Kill The Lights, 2015

“Home Alone Tonight” was written by Cole Taylor, Jaida Dreyer, Jody Stevens, and Tommy Cecil. A duet with Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, this song is about two people who went out that night to get over their ex and are going to help eachother do exactly that.

“Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day”- Kill The Lights, 2016

“Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” was written by Ben Hayslip, Dallas Davidson, Bryan and Rhett Akins. If Luke Bryan could put his entire brand into one song – this is it.

“Move” – Kill The Lights, 2016

“Move” was written by Jay Clementi, Bryan and Micahel Carter. It’s about falling for a city girl turned country as you see the way she learned how to move to some country music.

“Fast”- Kill The Lights, 2016

“Fast” is the sixth and final No. 1 from Kill The Lights. It was written by Bryan and Rodney Clawson. It’s a song of nostalgia and reflecting on how fast life and time flies by.

“Light it Up”- What Makes You Country, 2017

“Light it Up” is the first No. 1 off Bryan’s What Makes You Country album. It was written by Old Dominion’s Brad Tursi and Bryan. It’s quite the modern problem of waiting for someone to text you after a fight being completely at their mercy, just hoping that you’ll see their text pop up on your phone.

“Most People Are Good”- What Makes You Country, 2018

“Most People Are Good” was written by Frasier, Ed Hill, and Josh Kear. It’s a song about always being able to see the best in people and how some of the simplest things in life can also be the happiest.

“Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset”- What Makes You Country, 2018

“Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset” was written by Chase McGill, Ryan Hurd, and Zach Crowell. It’s about a summer love where life was as simple as sunrise, sunburn, sunset repeat, each and every day with that someone.

“What Makes You Country”- What Makes You Country, 2018

“What Makes You Country” is the title track and the third and final No. 1 from Bryan’s 2018 album. It was written by Ashley Gorley, Dallas Davidson and Bryan. This is a song about not needing to fit a mold of what is or isn’t country, since nobody is to say what it is that makes you country except you.

“Knockin Boots”- Born Here Live Here Die Here, 2019

“Knockin Boots” is the first No. 1 from Bryan’s most recent album – Born Here, Live Here, Die Here. It was written by Gordie Sampson, Hillary Lindsey, and Jon Nite. It’s about needing someone else in the same way that ice needs whiskey, long weeks need a weekend, and sing-alongs need to be sung.

“What She Wants Tonight”- Born Here Live Here Die Here, 2019

“What She Wants Tonight” was written by Jake Mitchell, Jameson Rodgers and Josh Thompson. It’s about a girl that knows what she wants and how to get it – and it just so happens to be him tonight.

“One Margarita”- Born Here Live Here Die Here, 2020

“One Margarita” was written by Josh Thompson, Matt Dragstrem and Michael Carter. It’s about not worrying about anything else going on in life, just having a good time with the people you’re with, one margarita after another.

“Down to One”- Born Here Live Here Die Here, 2020

“Down to One” was written by Dallas Davidson, Justin Ebach, and Kyle Fisherman. It’s about spending the perfect night with someone and wanting one more minute, one more drink, one more song, one more night alone together.

“Waves”- Born Here Live Here Die Here, 2020

“Waves” is the fifth No. 1 off of Bryan’s most recent album and is his most recent chart topper, as of September 2021. It was written by Chase McGill, Ryan Hurd, and Zach Crowell. It’s about summer love and the stars aligning for a perfect night you hope will never end.

“Buy Dirt”- in collaboration with Jordan Davis

When Jordan Davis released “Buy Dirt” with Luke Bryan, it was clear that it was going to be an impressive song. Shortly after finding its way to country radio, “Buy Dirt” deservingly hit the top spot on the country charts.

“Country On” – Prayin’ in a Deer Stand, 2022

Written by David Frasier, Mark Nesler, Mitch Oglesby, and Styles Haury, the song is all about uniting Americans. It is as patriotic and anthemic as it can get, without coming across too cheesy or lacking substance. The song is the perfect song to remind fans across the world that we are all one, no matter our differences.
