Thomas Rhett’s new song “Slow Down Summer” is out today, November 5th, on all streaming platforms. Learn more about the brand new track below.
Over a year ago, Thomas Rhett shared an unreleased song on his social media. The nostalgic tune had fans begging for its release almost instantly. Today, that desire is coming true! Rhett released his new song “Slow Down Summer.”
The brand new song is embodied nostalgia. According to Rhett, the song depicts a teenage romance that is about to be disrupted by college plans. “‘Slow Down Summer’ really is about two kids in love. I think it was my envisionment of two high school kids – one’s going to one college, one’s going to a different college, and they kind of know that once the leaves start changing that this relationship probably ain’t gonna make it,” shares Rhett.
We all know the feeling of wishing summer would last forever, so that we can spend more time with our loved ones.
“Falling fast in a one lane town // Tangled up with your lips on mine // Never seen a brighter green in those eyes // I put my jacket on your shoulders // Wishing the weather wasn’t getting colder”
Rhett continues to give us song after song to play in the soundtrack of our lives. We love that he continues to go back to his country roots, and this song is the perfect direction for the singer-songwriter.

Renee Blair debuts her brand new album, Seventeen, available now, November 5th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the incredible new record below.
Renee Blair is a singer-songwriter, whose artistry soars throughout her music. It has been a long time coming, but Blair finally released her brand new project today. Blair’s new album Seventeen is here!
The seventeen song project is full of brand new songs and tracks the singer has released over the last couple of years. The record is a true culmination of her tireless work ethic. Kicking off with songs like “Gotta Quit Drinkin” and “Heart’s In Your Head,” both songs depict the soft and sweet side of Blair.
“But when your heart’s in your head // And it’s doing all the thinking // When your will ain’t as strong // As the well you been drinkin’ // When you know what you should do // But you do the other thing instead // You put your hand on a flame // When your heart’s in your head”
Tales of heartbreak, falling in love, and everything in between continue as the album progresses. Fan-favorite, “Heatin’ Up My Summer” portrays a hot new romance, while “Soon As I’m Happy” is that age-old story about an ex always coming back at the most inopportune times.
Previously released songs “Turn Up the Night” and “Girlfriend” are tracks four and five. The former is a sassy and celebratory track that is part of Blair’s self-proclaimed “party track” of tunes, which includes “Downtowned Up”. “Girlfriend,” first released in 2019, is a relatable song about wanting to be with someone, who is perfect, but not single.
Similarly, “Handsome” is another honest and swoon-worthy song, tinged with R&B flavor. The love song is a true inspiration to all of us, clearing stemming from the part of Blair, who knows what true love is made of.
“He brings me flowers when it ain’t even my birthday // He fills the bath up when he knows I’ve had the worst day // And when I’m talkin’, I can tell he’s really listenin’ even when I’m bitchin’ // He knows how to fix it with the right thing to say”
On one of our favorite songs, “You Did,” Blair’s vulnerability is on full display. She sings about not knowing if she could love again. Fortunately, a man was able to help put her heart back together and convince her again that love is worth it.
On the flip side, Blair sings about an on and off again relationship on “Better Off.” “Wearin’ It Well” and “Here I Am” are other songs that convey the confusion of love and heartbreak. On the contrary, “Me Tonight” is a vulnerable song, where Blair wants to be with someone without worrying about the consequences.
Another standout track on the record is “Get the Girl.” The advice driven song is written to a man by the songstress. Blair shares all the secrets to a successful relationship on the track.
Overall, Blair’s new album Seventeen was worth the wait! The singer-songwriter shines vocally and her lyrics rival the best songwriters’ in town. She is the real deal, and we hope everyone falls in love with this incredible full-length project.

Tenille Townes’ new song “Villain In Me” is out today, November 5th, on all streaming platforms. Learn more about the brand new track below.
Nearing the end of the ‘Skeletons Tour’ with Brothers Osborne and gearing up for her first headlining tour that covers venues across both Canada and the United States, the “Somebody’s Daughter” singer-songwriter has brought out the floodgates with a heavy-hearted sentiment in her new song “Villian in Me”. Lyrically, the narrative is self-reflecting with a spoonful of a not-so-sugar-coated moment of pessimism.
Despite Townes’ hesitancy to drop the socially accepted, life-of-the-party mask and allow remnants of a vulnerable and intricate state of mind to be seen, the 27-year old Canada native is letting go of the weight. “This song terrifies me, but I feel more hungry for honesty than I ever have in my life before”, she shares in a press release, “and that hunger is carrying me to a much more personal anchor in my songwriting.”
“Villian in Me”, written by Alex Hope and Townes, publicly originated on social media platforms when an unfiltered clip had been shared with seemingly no real intention for the song to be given a proper release date. However, following the support and encouragement from followers and slipping surprise performances in her setlist in recent appearances, the production is now available on all streaming platforms.
“The voice that I don’t wanna hear // The hurtful words I say // The long list of things about myself I wanna change // The heavy cloud that won’t leave even after it rains // I try to be a hero ‘til it brings me to my knees // Yeah, there’s a villain in me”
With an artist that leans articulately to the most beautiful things, there’s a captivating aroma that encircles Townes. “Villain in Me” is no exception. A delightful truth is present within these painful words that flow elegantly over a fingerpick: a sense of togetherness.
“Sometimes that mask gets heavy and I’m working on how to set it down,” Tenille admits. “I’m still very much in the process of figuring that out and I want this song to be an invitation for anybody else out there listening to feel like they can join me in that process.”

We love reminiscing about all the great country music to hit country radio over the last few years. In our brand new series, we’re looking back on the songs that made it to the top of the country airplay charts. Today, we’re highlighting songs in Morgan Wallen’s young career that hit the number one spot.
“Up Down”- If I Know Me, 2017
Morgan Wallen’s second single to country radio earned him notoriety in the music industry. This killer collaboration with Florida Georgia Line continues to be a fan-favorite amongst Wallen fans, due to his punchy and catchy melody. “Up Down” proves to be an international smash hit!
“Whiskey Glasses”- If I Know Me, 2018
“Whiskey Glasses” upped the ante for Wallen. The song is the third single to head to country radio from his debut record If I Know Me. It features enticing lyrics and a fun melody. The single continues to be a staple at live shows.
“Chasin’ You”- If I Know Me, 2019
“Chasin’ You” is one of the first slow-jams to reach the top of the chart for Wallen. The song shows off his writing chops, as well as, his ability to be vulnerable in a song. Wallen’s vocal performance is impressive in this one-of-a-kind track.
“More Than My Hometown”- Dangerous: The Double Album, 2020
Wallen’s lead single off his sophomore record Dangerous: The Double Album, “More Than My Hometown” went viral on TikTok. The single is a countrified tune. Written by Wallen with HARDY, Ernest, Keith Smith, and Ryan Vojtesak, the song is romantic, inviting, and bittersweet. He combines elements of both nostalgia and heartbreak while maintaining an undeniable charm and sense of self.
“Sand In My Boots”- Dangerous: The Double Album, 2022
After his return to country radio, Morgan Wallen’s “Sand In My Boots”, from Dangerous: The Double Album, quickly climbed to the number one spot. An instant hit with fans, Wallen used the song to open his 2022 headlining tour with the piano-driven track. “Sand In My Boots” is a slow groove that puts Wallen’s authentic vocals on full display. The song is sure to be the first of many number one hits to come after Wallen’s return to radio.
“Wasted On You”- Dangerous: The Double Album, 2022
Shortly after his return to country music radio, Wallen’s song “Wasted On You” charted. The song is a quintessential Wallen song, featuring all the components: pulling on our heartstrings, making us feel heard, and as catchy as ever.
“You Proof”- One Thing At A Time, 2022
A while back, Wallen posted an audio clip of a song on his social media. The song became “You Proof.” While it’s just a promotional single and not (yet) a part of any major project, “You Proof” became an instant hit with fans. So much so, that it has been sitting pretty at the top of the country music charts for four weeks and counting (as of 11/4/22).
“Thought You Should Know”- One Thing At A Time, 2023
At the top of 2023, one of Wallen’s most personal songs to date, “Thought You Should Know” landed at the top of the country radio charts. The single is a lyrically-gifted song that focuses on a conversation that Wallen is having with his mother over his success and his failures throughout his career.
“Last Night”- One Thing At A Time, 2023
Marking his fastest rising number one single at country radio to date, “Last Night” is certainly a fan-favorite. Wallen is at his absolute best on this song. While the lyrics are on the cheeky side, the song has clearly resonated with all country music fans and country radio alike.
“Thinkin’ Bout Me”- One Thing At A Time, 2023
A fan-favorite song from Wallen’s latest album, “Thinkin’ Bout Me,” conveys the story about having a spark with someone. The song is one of the standout tracks from Wallen’s impressive project that is already proving to be full of hits.
“Man Made A Bar” ft. Eric Church – One Thing At A Time, 2024
“Man Made A Bar” marks an iconic pairing in country music. Wallen has been outspoken about his love for Eric Church, so watching these two become friends and create music together has been a real treat. The song is the perfect combination of both of their talents, and it is obvious why it went to the top of the country radio charts.
“Mamaw’s House” with Thomas Rhett – 2024
This unexpected collaboration with Thomas Rhett was a true sleeper pick for country radio. This honest and catchy song hit the top of the charts in the first half of 2024, adding to both Wallen and Rhett’s streaks of hits.
“I Had Some Help” with Post Malone – 2o24
Morgan Wallen earned his twelfth number one at country radio with his mega-hit, “I Had Some Help.” Wallen was featured on the Post Malone song, which many called the song of the summer. The track was a surefire number one.
“Cowgirls” ft. Ernest – 2024
Another iconic collaboration, “Cowgirls” with Ernest earned Wallen his thirteenth number one single at country radio. The song was a fan-favorite from the beginning, showcasing the best sides of Wallen and Ernest.
“Lies Lies Lies” – 2024
What felt like one of the quickest rises to number one, “Lies Lies Lies” officially marks Wallen’s 14th number one single at country radio. The infectious and captivating single feels like a new era of music for the superstar.
“Love Somebody” – 2025
Marking Wallen’s 15th number one single at country radio, “Love Somebody” was an instant hit with fans and radio alike. Coming on the heels of the announcement of the singer’s next studio project, “Love Somebody” is an impressive addition to Wallen’s catalog of hits.
“Love Somebody” – 2025
Marking Wallen’s next number one single at country radio, “Love Somebody” was an instant hit with fans and radio alike. Coming on the heels of the announcement of the singer’s next studio project, “Love Somebody” is an impressive addition to Wallen’s catalog of hits.
“I’m The Problem” – 2025
The title track off Wallen’s 4th record, I’m The Problem hit the top of the country radio charts, adding to the singer-songwriter’s catalog of hits.
“Just In Case” – 2025
Marking Wallen’s 18th number one single is his fan-favorite ballad, “Just In Case.” The single rose quickly to the top of the charts, showcasing another record for the singer.
“I Got Better” – 2025
“I Got Better” was a clear fan-favorite since the moment the singer-songwriter started teasing the track. The single is one of Wallen’s best songs as of late.
“20 Cigarettes” – 2026
From the moment fans heard “20 Cigarettes,” it became a fan-favorite. It’s no wonder it landed its way to the top of the country radio charts.
*SPECIAL MENTION:
“7 Summers”- Dangerous: The Double Album, 2020
Another popular Wallen song, “7 Summers” debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, however, after Wallen’s racial slur scandal, the song was dropped from country radio. The popular track otherwise had the potential to hit number one on the Country Airplay charts as well. Despite that, the song remains a fan-favorite, and for good reason.

Jimmie Allen stuns with incredible performances during week seven of Dancing With The Stars.
Dancing With The Stars is seven weeks into its historic 30th season and country star Jimmie Allen is still going strong. With Allen back on tour, the singer and his partner, Emma Slater have been rehearsing on the road with his family in tow. To make this week even harder, each dancer performed twice on the “Queen” themed broadcast.
Allen’s first dance, a Viennese waltz to “Somebody to Love” earned the duo a 38 out of a possible 40 from the judges, who commented on how much Allen is improving each week. The second round was a face-off featuring three couples dancing to the same song to win bonus points from the judges. Allen and Slater performed a foxtrot to “Pressure” against celebrities Olivia Jade and JoJo Siwa. None of the judges awarded bonus points to Allen, but his original scores and fan votes were enough to keep him in the competition, and he will advance to next week.

Who is Tenille Arts? The singer-songwriter joined us to chat about her journey to country music. Get to know the rising star here…
The Beginning:
We have been following Tenille Arts’ career for a few years now. Today, we are excited to finally get to spotlight her journey in the country music industry. We chatted with the singer-songwriter about her Canadian upbringing, her move to Nashville, her new music, and more.
Growing up in a small town in Canada, Arts does not recall a time where music was not pertinent in her life. “I loved country music. Growing up that was all that was played on the radio,” she shared. At just eight years old, Arts was mesmerized by artists like Martina McBride, The Chicks, and Faith Hill. “That was the music that was always playing in my home,” she adds. The singer also remembers loving artists like The Beatles and Paul Simon.
As a young girl, Arts’ talent was recognized by one of her neighbors, which set her off on this musical trajectory unbeknownst to her. “I started singing and just making up songs as early as eight years old. I was actually just always singing everywhere I went and my neighbor […] heard me singing and came over and told my mom that she thought I had a good voice and that maybe I should do something with that.”
This propelled the songstress’ mom to put her in vocal lessons. Arts ended up training classically for ten years. Still, she loved country music the most, so she taught herself guitar at around thirteen years old. “I picked up the guitar and started writing my own songs and made my first trip to Nashville at fifteen years old, back in 2009. I just fell in love with Nashville and kept going back and forth until I graduated high-school and started looking for a publishing deal,” adding later, “I signed a publishing deal when I was 21 and moved to Nashville and it just kind of all spiraled from there.”
The Turning Point:
With her dream of going to Nashville on her heart, Arts declined a Canadian record deal before landing her Nashville publishing deal. “I was like ‘I would rather go to Nashville and really take on the entire the country music scene and see what happens, rather than maybe get stuck up there.'” She added, “I didn’t want to only be in Canada. I wanted to possibly have a career worldwide.”
For Arts, Nashville was the place to be to really hone her craft. “Nashville was where all the songwriters were and I wanted to be in that world and write with those people. Because that’s where the best songwriters in the world are.” Inspired by artists, who wrote their own music like Taylor Swift, Arts worked endlessly to write and cut her own music.
According to the singer, she feels like she is in the perfect place getting to be in country music right now. “It is so, so exciting to be a part of this change where women are taking over again. It’s so incredible and I feel so grateful to be an artist at this time.”
In her career, Arts has developed a reputation of being a team player. She supports other country artists and continues to be inspired by the amazing class of women in the genre right now.
Today:
Arts’ newest record, Girl to Girl was just released. The record is a full on love letter to her younger self and other girls, who could use the songs. “This album honestly was not planned at all. I was stuck at home and had a bunch of Zoom writing sessions set-up because that was the only thing I could do, so I started writing without a direction,” shared Arts.
“I was a little discouraged at first, because I was like ‘I don’t have anything to write about. I’m not living life. I’m sitting at home.’” And the more I thought about it the more I realized that there was a lot of things that I hadn’t written about yet that I had been through in my life that I had just sorta brushed over.”
The record became an ode to her younger self and the songs started to pour out of Arts. She yearned to support other female artists, so she decided to collaborate with Callista Clark on her song “Breakup Songs. “I kind of just wanted to be a big sister and share these things,” shared Arts. “I wanted to spotlight another new female artist. First of all, she’s incredible […] I wanted to put my arm around a young artist and say I love you and I want to support you and be here for you throughout your entire journey.”
Of course, the record features Arts’ first number one single “Somebody Like You,” which found its way to the top during the pandemic. “For me, the first time I played a show was months after it went number one. […] It went from zero to one hundred, people were singing the song back to me and I could put my microphone out to the crowd […] It was just such an incredible moment.”
If Girl to Girl is any inclination of how Arts’ career is going to progress, fans are in for a real treat. The singer will be re-releasing her Christmas song soon, and will be focusing on shows at the top of 2022. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for more soon!

Kenny Chesney adds Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, and Carly Pearce to 2022 ‘Here And Now’ Tour. Get all the dates and details below.
“When we realized we weren’t getting to spend 2020 with No Shoes Nation, I never thought it would be three years until I would see my most favorite people in the world,” says eight-time Entertainer of the Year KennyChesney ahead of his Here And Now 2022 stadium tour presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum and fueled by MARATHON, set to launch April 23 at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium. “My favorite place in the world is anywhere we all come together. They come strong. They get loud. They love the music. But most importantly, they live life – every second – for all its worth! They inspire me, and I want to get out there and get going, creating the greatest night of the summer every time we hit the stage.
“Putting this line-up together has been awesome,” Chesney continues. “We’ve got Dan + Shay, who continue to set records with their music and have been burning it up on their own headlining tour this year. We have an old favorite, who just keep getting better, Old Dominion – it’s almost like it wouldn’t be a stadium show without them! – and one of my newest friends in Carly Pearce, whose songwriting is so personal to her own life, yet so many people find themselves in her songs.”
Kicking off April 23 in Tampa, Fla. at Raymond James Stadium, Chesney will play 21 stadium concerts, finishing Here And Now 2022 with what has almost become a No Shoes Nation tradition: a double-play at New England’s Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. on August 26 and 27. All current ticketholders remain in their original seats at each stadium.
To celebrate the news of the Here And Now 2022 lineup, the 19 stadium shows already announced are getting “Five Day Party Pricing,” to honor those fans who normally attend multiple shows each summer with limited discounted tickets at multiple price points igniting the Here And Now 2022 summer. To make it super-easy, no codes, no clubs, no special sign-ups and prices will already reflect any discounts. Just look for the price that fits your party now through Nov. 5.
“Let’s make this simple!” Chesney says. “It’s been a long time. No Shoes Nation moves around, shows up in lots of cities. So, to say thank you for being the most awesome people in the world, I thought this was a way to recognize the people who do more than one or two stadiums each summer!”
In addition to the previously announced stadium shows, Chesney has also added dates at Charlotte, N.C.’s Bank of America Stadium and Columbus, Ohio’s Historic Crew Stadium. Tickets to the newly announced Charlotte show go on sale to the general public on Friday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. local time, with on sale details for Columbus TBA.
American Express® Card Members can purchase Charlotte tickets before the general public beginning Wednesday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, Nov. 11 at 10 p.m. local time.
Here And Now 2022 presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum and fueled by MARATHON picks up where one of contemporary music’s greatest love affairs left off. Having sold over a million tickets every year since 2002, Chesney is ready to get back out there – and he’s bringing a few of his very best musical friends with him.
