Dustin Lynch’s song, “Thinking ‘Bout You” with MacKenzie Porter officially goes number one on the country radio charts.

This week, Dustin Lynch scores his eighth number one song with “Thinking “Bout You.” For his collaborator, MacKenzie Porter, while she has three number one songs on Canadian country charts, the single marks Porter’s very first US number one hit.

Back in March, Lynch released a new version of the song as a single featuring pop-country vocalist, Porter on the track with him. The push-pull of the two distinct voices create an interesting dynamic on the already enticing tune. It was just a matter of time before the track became a hit with fans and radio alike.

For over a decade, Zac Brown Band have been entertaining fans across generations. Hit songs like “Chicken Fried,” “Toes,” and “Homegrown” remain mainstays in their catalog and during their live shows. This week, ZBB earn another hit song with their single, “Same Boat.”

Penned by Zac Brown with Ben Simonetta and Jonathan Singleton, “Same Boat” is a true ZBB classic. We knew the song would become a hit from first listen. It truly is an undeniable instant jam. Upbeat and fun, “Same Boat” is simply about the human experience. We all have unique moments in our lives, but life, in general, is something we all go through. Newly crowned, Entertainer of the Year, Luke Combs is proving once again why he is a bonafide superstar. Continuing his record success, the singer-songwriter has added to his consecutive streak of hit songs. This week, Combs’ song “Cold As You” marks his 12th number one single at country radio.

A little over a year old, “Cold As You” catapulted to the top of the charts since its radio debut. The song is all about ways to mend a broken heart. The reflective, quiet, jam is fun-loving, introspective, and enticing. We do not see Combs’ streak of hits ending anytime soon!

Their first collaborate song, “Chasing After You” officially hit the number one spot at country radio.

The song marks the first chart-topper for Hurd as an artist and the fifth number one single for Morris. Written by Brinley Addington and Jerry Flowers, “Chasing After You” is a romantic song that perfectly suited Hurd and Morris’ stellar voices. It was just a matter of time before the song made its way up the charts.

Just three months after its debut, Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood’s duet “If I Didn’t Love You” is a hit! The song officially cemented the top spot on the country charts this week. It marks the 26th number one for Aldean, following “Blame It On You.” For Underwood, the song is her 16th number one hit.

“If I Didn’t Love You” is a heartbreaking ballad. The two singers lament about what it’s like to love someone so deeply, but not be able to be with them. Neither lover knows exactly how the other feels, making the feelings, even harder to cope with. Both Aldean and Underwood show off their vocal ability and grit throughout this enticing song.

“If I didn’t love you, I’d be good by now // I’d be better than barely getting by somehow // Yeah it would be easy not to miss you // Wonder about who’s with you // Turn the want you off whenever I want too // If I didn’t love you”

The song conveys the message of not wanting to recall the memories of the one who got away.

Scotty McCreery has lived a whole other life since he won over our hearts on the TV screen back in 2011’s American Idol. In the last few years, he has really found his footing as a country artist, singing songs about his faith, his now-wife, and country living. McCreery’s latest single “You Time” officially hit the number one spot on the charts. It follows “Five More Minutes,” “This Is It,” and “In Between.”

The song is all about craving that one on one time with your partner. Due to McCreery’s busy schedule, time with his family most likely feels even more special and necessary. The song was even written on the road, when the singer was at his busiest. Written by McCreery, Frank Rogers, and Aaron Eshuis, the fun, upbeat track shows that hitting pause in our busy lives to recharge with our significant others is important.
