Priscilla Block shares new single, “Couple Spring Breaks Back,” out now, March 3rd on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.
Rising country star, Priscilla Block just released the deluxe version of her debut album, Welcome to the Block Party less than a month ago and the 27-year-old phenom is already back making new music. This timely tune is sure to have people looking back on their college years, specifically on the memories preserved during those fun-filled weeks away from school.
“I remember your Myrtle Beach sunburn, airbrushed t-shirt // Balcony Busch Light looking so good // Truck-stop shades, Circle K hat // When you were mine a couple spring breaks back”
Block was teasing this track on social media for some time. The song features a girl reminiscing on the precise details of the week spent in Myrtle Beach during spring break a few years ago. She recalls the beautiful weather, the music on the ride down, the beer they were drinking, and exactly the boy she misses, the boardwalk kisses, and being in his arms at night.
This single reminds us how hard getting over ‘the one-who-got-away’ can be. Although its message is gloomy, the percussion-driven, upbeat production makes this the right song to kick off your own spring break festivities.
