Kip Moore Release New Song “Bad Spot” + Announces New Album

Kip Moore releases new song “Bad Spot,” out now, January 10th on all streaming platforms. Listen to the new track below.

Kip Moore is one of the most interesting and incredible artists of our generation. He has been a staple in the music industry for years, as well as, a really important component of the art of story-telling in the country music genre. While Moore has had many iterations of music in his career, his new song, “Bad Spot” feels like a “coming home.”

The new song comes in conjunction with the announcement that the singer is releasing his next studio album, Solitary Tracks, out February 28th, marking Moore’s sixth studio album. As far as the new song goes, “Bad Spot” recounts a story of knowing you messed up in a relationship, but admitting that it during a time where you had a lot to heal within yourself. Moore perfectly embodies the feelings associated with the song and delivers a song that feels polished yet raw all at the same time.

“I hit a little rough patch, some rocky road // A stretch of life that took its toll // And the next thing I know, you’re breakin’ up on me // I guess it took some goin’ there to get me here // Some growin’ up to make it clear // That ol’ me in my mirror, he ain’t the guy you need // I know I don’t deserve another shot // But I’m in a better place, kinda like a call drop // I lost you in a bad spot”

If “Bad Spot” is any inclination of what is to come on Solitary Tracks, fans of Moore are in for possibly one of his best projects to date! Stay tuned.
