Dierks Bentley dropped a major announcement this week revealing that his tenth studio album Gravel & Gold is slated for release on February 24th. Get all the details below.

Dierks Bentley is kicking off the new year with a big announcement. The country music superstar is releasing his tenth studio album, Gravel & Gold next month, February 24th. I’m going to be able to look back on it for the rest of my life and be like, yeah, that was harder than I thought it would be, but zero regrets. I had to get it right. That’s the Gravel & Gold of it all.”

With 20 years and counting in the industry, Gravel & Gold is slated to be the best project by Bentley to date!

Jordan Davis Secures 5th Number One Single with “What My World Spins Around”

Jordan Davis earns his fifth number-one song at country radio this week with his single, “What My World Spins Around.” Learn all the details here.

In our humble opinion, Jordan Davis’ talent is still extremely underrated. While the singer-songwriter has been garnering more and more fans over the last few years, his career has been a continuous trajectory, rather than an explosion to superstardom. We believe that the Country Swag 2018 Artist to Watch is going to make it to superstar status. This week, Davis secured his fifth number-one single at country radio with his anthemic song, “What My World Spins Around,” following the recent success of “Buy Dirt.”

Davis’ single is a combination of a love song and nostalgia. Throughout the verses, the singer shares all the things he loves about his life and his world. In the chorus, we learn that the love of his life is truly everything to him. Davis does all of that while making the song catchy too! The song won over fans and radio almost instantly with this killer tune.

“The way that it feels when you lean in and kiss me // The way that you dance when you get kinda tipsy // I’m wrapped ’round your finger like this ring I’m wearing // That look in your eyes, girl, when you catch me staring and // I don’t even know what it is but now that I found it // I can’t imagine me living without this // Back forty view on our piece of ground // Watching you watch the sun going down // That’s what my world spins around”

Congrats to Jordan Davis and his team on his fifth number one at country radio!

Elvie Shane Heats Up Rolling Stones Classic on ‘Stone Cold Country’

Elvie Shane covers The Rolling Stones classic hit, “Sympathy For The Devil” out today on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand-new track below.

In honor of the 60th Anniversary of The Rolling Stones, country music is celebrating with a tribute album called Stoned Cold Country. Country artists celebrate the legacy of The Rolling Stones through fourteen distinct covers of some of their greatest hits. Last year, Brothers Osborne and The War and Treaty gave their best rendition of the classic, “It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It).” Today, rising artist, Elvie Shane shares his version of “Sympathy For The Devil.”

The iconic track gets a countrified flair with Shane’s inviting twang. Keeping with the rock tone, the song is transformed into a country-rock anthem. With deep lyrics and an even cooler instrumental, Shane’s rendition of “Sympathy For The Devil” is one of the coolest cross-genre covers to date.

Fans can expect the full-length album, Stoned Cold Country, coming later this year. The record will feature even more iconic covers from some of your favorite artists like Zac Brown Band, Elle King, Brooks & Dunn, Ashley McBryde, and more. We look forward to hearing more tunes this year, and of course, more unexpected collaborations.

Mickey Guyton Joins Lukas Graham on New Song “Home Movies”

Mickey Guyton and Lukas Graham join forces on brand new song, “Home Movies” out now, January 13th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

If you have not yet become a huge Mickey Guyton fan, what are you waiting for?! Guyton has one of the best voices in the country music genre, so much so that she is sought after across multiple genres. Today, Guyton joins forces with pop star, Lukas Graham on his brand new song “Home Movies.”

The reflective ballad is tinged with country music storytelling. Both Graham and Guyton bring their best vocals to the track, taking turns on the verses and harmonizing throughout the chorus. “Home Movies” is an incredible song that will have you feeling nostalgic after just one listen.

According to Graham, Guyton was a perfect collaborator. “Mickey’s vocals really make the lyrics that much better. Not to mention the outer harmonies on the last 3rd of the song!” he shared in a press release. “My favorite line is from the chorus “Everybody’s got a story no one knows” and that’s the truth. We all have our inglorious moments and obscure pasts to deal with and that’s what makes life so beautiful; when we manage to rise above the prejudice and make something unique of ourselves.”

While Guyton is working on her own music, fans of Graham can check out “Home Movies” and other songs on his umping album, 4 (The Pink Album).

Blanco Brown Drops New Love Song “I’ll Never”

Blanco Brown’s brand new song, “I’ll Never” is out now, January 13th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

Nashville hitmaker and GRAMMY-nominated artist, Blanco Brown is a one-of-a-kind talent in the industry. Blanco Brown has certainly covered all spectrums of music throughout his country career. From the viral, number one dance hit, “The Git Up” to country trap collaborations with Nelly, the innovative singer-songwriter from Atlanta showcases a more vulnerable side with his brand new song “I’ll Never.”

The track is an incredible love song that will keep you swooning day after day. “’I’ll Never’ is about loving someone the way they need to be loved because everyone needs and deserves love in different ways,” Brown said in a recent press release. “Even if it means looking in the mirror and learning to love yourself just a little bit more.”

Written by Brown with Keith Justice and Allen Arthur, “I’ll Never” is quite possibly the wedding song of the year. Much like songs like Ashley Cooke and Brett Young’s “Never ‘Til Now,” “I’ll Never” feels like a warm hug. It is an emotional expression of love of all magnitudes, reminding us all that love is the universal connector. The lyrics center on a romance between two people and reminds listeners that love is one of the most beautiful and unique aspects of life. Brown’s stunning vocals mixed with backing steel guitar complete this beautiful country ballad.

“I’ll never stop loving you, holding you, kissing all on you  // I’ll never stop being me, doing all the things that I do // Even when I’m not around // You at least know a thing or two, // I’ll never stop, loving you, loving you”

This track follows Blanco’s latest releases of “Trap Still Bumpin’” with famed rapper T.I. and the funky “Let It
Slide” with the multi-platinum selling LOCASH and the beloved multi-faceted talent of the late Leslie Jordan.

Priscilla Block Shares Heartbreaking New Single “Me Pt. 2”

Priscilla Block’s brand new single, “Me Pt. 2” is out now, January 13th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new song below.

Priscilla Block had one of the most exciting years, as a newcomer on the country music scene. Her debut album Welcome To The Block Party garnered her a massive fanbase, and she is clearly only going up from here. Today, she releases her first new single of 2023, a touching and reflective song called “Me Pt 2.”

The song begins in a solemn, ¾ classic country waltz, immediately preparing the listener for what country music does best: three chords and the truth. “I hope you’re happy // You said you never had a type // She’s just like me,” she sings as if she’s staring into an empty glass at a dive bar. Block’s sweet voice soars through the higher registers in the chorus.

There’s something particularly nostalgic about this song sonically, which is different for Block. The second chorus comes along with beautiful harmonies and there is pedal steel that floats throughout. “I hope you’re happy, you found me part two”, she sings in the chorus.

Block is continuing to put out great singles as she really comes into herself artistically. Fans have seen different sides of Block, from angry and bitter, to the life of the party, to heartbroken. It will be interesting to see how Block continues growing as an artist moving forward.

Chris Young Kicks Off the New Year with Two Brand New Songs

Chris Young shares two brand new songs, “All Dogs Go To Heaven” and “Looking For You,” out now, January 13th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the tracks below.

Country music superstar Chris Young is kicking off the new year with new music! Today, he released not one but two brand new songs, calling them two of his favorite songs he has ever written. Young’s songs “All Dogs To Heaven” and “Looking For You” are officially out now.

Both tracks are nostalgic, hopeful, and primed for the stage. The former, “All Dogs To Heaven” is an ode to a man’s best friend. Young’s best friend is clearly his pup, Porter. Back in October, Young teased the song on his social media, sharing that anyone who has ever had a dog will relate to this one. He was definitely right!

“And that’s why all dogs go to Heaven // To spend forever running wild and free, off the leash // I know he’ll probably go before me // Oh, and that’ the day I’m dreadin’ // Bu he’ll be waiting on me at the gates // ‘Cause all dogs go to Heaven”

On the other hand, “Looking For You,” is a fun-loving song about finding love in an unexpected way. The song hits hard in the best way. It feels hopeful and has a catchy hook and melody that will keep you singing along to every word.

“I was looking more single every single weekend // Looking for a feeling to get my heart beating // Looking for an up all night long // The right kiss, right song // Looking for a sunrise leading to a sunset // Looking or someone I can spend it with // Then it came around right out of the blue // and it turns out // Oh, I was looking for you”

Young is clearly ready to make waves this year. More music is sure to come soon!

Griffen Palmer Makes Label Debut with New Song “Second Guessing”

Griffen Palmer makes label debut with new song “Second Guessing,” out now, January 13th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

NBC Songland’s Griffen Palmer is making his major label debut as Big Loud Records’ newest signee. The singer-songwriter first dazzled fans on the hit show, even winning his episode. Iconic duo, Florida Georgia Line recorded his song, “Second Guessing.” Now, Palmer is sharing his debut rendition of the song, out today.

From the moment he sang it on the show, it was clear that “Second Guessing” was a hit country song. Palmer’s knack for songwriting is obvious, and he has the vocals to back it up. The love song is a confident portrayal of what it feels like to be with the right person. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, we imagine that this song is going to steal the spotlight, even more than it already has.

“That since I met you, I // I ain’t spent one second guessin’ // Lord knows I’ve tried // ‘Cause I’ve had my heart broken in every direction // Too many times // But I saw the rest of my life with one look in your eyes // I’m confessing // That I ain’t spent one second guessin'”

“Second Guessing” is just the beginning for Palmer. He has paved his own path in country music thus far. Now with a team like Big Loud backing him, fans can expect more music and a debut album slated for release sometime this year.

Just a few days into 2023, and we can already declare that this year is going to be a great one for country music. Last week, Old Dominion shared new music with fans, and this week, they announced a brand new sampler called ‘Memory Lane.’ The new musical appetizer so to speak features four songs to hold fans over until the inevitable next studio album.

“We’ve been working on so much new music, and the response to “Memory Lane” [the song] has been so energizing that we decided we’re tired of sitting on it all!” shared Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey in a recent press release. “We’re so excited to share three more songs heading into the No Bad Vibes Tour and the next chapter in our musical journey.”

The new project features four songs, all co-written by the band, including “Memory Lane,” “Ain’t Got a Worry,” “Freedom Like You,” and “Easier Said With Rum.” Each of the four tracks showcases the signature nostalgic and relatable sound that we have come to love from Old Dominion.
