Kip Moore Drops “Red White Blue Jean American Dream”

Kip Moore Red White Blue Jean American Dream

We’ve been a Kip Moore fan ever since his debut single “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck” and throughout teh years he continued to stay authentic with songs like “Wild Ones” in 2015 and more recently “Last Shot” and “More Girls Like You”. This year, Moore has not disappointed with songs from his upcoming album including, “Wild World” and his latest release, “Red White Blue Jean American Dream”. The same “jangle-rock” sound, but with an almost bluegrass influence behind the rock, it has an urgent beat that puts a little more pep in your step. He recalls all-American classic icons, reminding us that our adventure is right here at home, and that back to basics might actually bring us that dream we’re searching for.

“We can climb the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Texas / Rock Rock City in Tennessee / Rollin down the road, you and me / Just chain’ that red white blue jean American dream”

WILD WORLD, out May 29th, is Moore’s fourth studio album and will be released alongside his documentary “7 Days at the Rock” on OUTSIDE TV, out May 28th. Both Moore’s documentary, depicting his self-isolation in Kentucky, and the release of “Red White Blue Jean American Dream”, lead right into the release of the album, giving us an insight into the artist we know and love, and the things that drive their music. In a time of self-reflection, we’ve been given a peek into another’s process, providing that community and affirmation we all need.

To keep up with Moore, follow him on InstagramTwitter, and Facebook.

“Red White Blue Jean American Dream” is now available everywhere you buy or stream music. Take a listen below and check out more new recently released music here on our ‘New Country Music’ playlist. Be sure to give the playlist a follow for your weekly new country music fix.

Kelleigh Bannen Releases Timely Track Titled “The Optimist”

The Optimist

In the music industry, there is such a thing as demo-itis. Demo-itis is when you listen to the original writer’s demo and love it/hear it so much that it’s hard to ever make a better version.

Kelleigh Bannen embraced this wholeheartedly and released a song recorded right from her kitchen. “The Optimist” is perfectly sparse production-wise, and full lyric-wise. While beyond more than just a demo, Bannen captured that essence for her ever-so-timely release.

The song opens with a quiet piano, and Bannen’s voice fills your ears soon after. In the verse, she lists all the simple things that she believes in, things such as hand-written love letters, good timing, midnight pizza, and New York City in the rain. By the time the chorus hits, where she explores themes of self-doubt and hesitation, beautiful guitars and mellow strings harmonize her voice. The hook of the song, however, is about how great love can change your dwindling perspective. “I believe in second chances / Wine drunk kitchen dances / And magic ain’t just on TV / But I can’t believe you made an optimist out of me”.

The stunning ballad was co-written by Bannen, Will Bowen, who also produced the track and Claire Douglas back in September, but the song was recorded in the midst of quarantine. “The pace of all of our lives has slowed down so much, and I need a little extra hope right now… doesn’t everybody?” Bannen says in a press release. “This song is about seeing the world with a fresh, and hopeful perspective. It was recorded as a simple piano vocal and was only ever supposed to be a demo. When I heard the song back, it just struck me differently in this season we’re all weathering, so I wanted to share it.”

Bannen leaves a lot of space throughout the song, and it’s part of the reason it evokes so much emotion. Her delivery and the universally timeless lyrics don’t sound like anything that’s been said before, yet it sounds so familiar. “What makes this song feel special is that it doesn’t even feel like I wrote it,” Bannen told American Songwriter. “This song is a lesson to me. And some of the images in this song that we wrote months ago are so zoomed into what is happening right now…it’s crazy. It’s really about finding that next little place of hope.”

Hope is floating all around in this song, and you can hear it in her voice. Bannen created her own kind of magic that will stand the test of time, and hopefully, remind everyone that this too shall pass.

To keep up with Kelleigh Bannen, you can find her on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

Noah Schnacky Drops Two Songs “Comeback” & “Where’d You Go”

Noah Schnacky

Country music newcomer and Big Machine Label artist, Noah Schnacky is moving full steam ahead with new music. After bursting on to the scene with his debut single, “I’ll Be The One,” Schnacky has already gained a loyal following of fans. “Comeback” and “Where’d You Go” are his two newest double releases.

“Comeback” is a clever tune about a guy dealing with a breakup. Schnacky sings about knowing that people are waiting for him to bounce back, but he just wants the girl to “come back.” The double meaning of the hook is a smart and enticing way to create buzz around this song. According to Schnacky, “this song came straight from [his] heart during a hard time in [his] life.” We appreciate the rising artist’s honesty and authenticity.

On the other hand “Where’d You Go” is a pensive, yet fun track about wanting to find your soulmate. We all wonder when we will have that moment, where we meet our better half, but Schnacky finds a way to sing about the subject in a relatable, yet personal way. Additionally, this song launched the singer’s TikTok initiative. A contest called “Cyber Date Social Initiative” is giving fans a chance to win one of three cyber dates with Schnacky by downloading the songs, promoting on social media, and just genuinely sharing their love for the tunes.

We cannot wait to see what is in store for Schnacky next! Check out his performance from last week’s Virtual Brunch event via our Instagram.
