Old Dominion Drops New Song “I Should Have Married You”

Old Dominion’s new song “I Should Have Married You” is out now, April 21st, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

As the group anticipates playing Stagecoach in just a few short days, Old Dominion is giving fans a song that they have been asking for! Following the release of their sampler project earlier this year, the band is sharing a new single. Old Dominion’s new song “I Should Have Married You” is officially here.

Written by Old Dominion’s Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Whit Sellers, Geoff Sprung, and Brad Tursi with prolific songwriter and frequent collaborator Shane McAnally, “I Should Have Married You” tells the age-old story of the one that got away. The new track is both as relatable as ever and features Old Dominion’s signature, feel-good, yet poignant sound that fans know and love.

“I can’t blame you for not waiting around // If I hadn’t been so young and stupid // And let somebody beat me to it // Don’t know what you got, until you lose it, yes I blew it baby // I should have married you // That’s just the way it goes // I should have seen it through // I should have let you know // I should have said I do // Back when I still had the chance, yeah”

According to the band’s frontman, Matthew Ramsey, the track has been a long time in the making! “If you dance hard enough and sing loud enough, maybe the regret will go away! So crank up ‘I Should Have Married You’ this Friday – and thank you for hounding us about this one since we teased it a few months ago!”
