Morgan Wallen Hits Top Spot at Country Radio with “I Got Better”

Morgan Wallen earns his nineteenth number one single at country radio with his song, “I Got Better” Get all the details here.

Morgan Wallen continues to be truly untouchable in the country music genre. With sold out tours, number one albums, and countless number one singles, there seems to be no stopping Wallen, as he reaches new levels of superstardom. His latest record I’m The Problem boasts four number one singles, adding a fifth to its list this week. Wallen’s song, “I Got Better” officially hit the top of the country radio charts!

“I Got Better” was a clear fan-favorite since the moment the singer-songwriter started teasing the track. The single, which was written at Wallen’s farm with heavy-hitters, HARDY, Ernest, Ryan Vojtesak, Chase McGill, and Blake Pendergrass, speaks to reflecting on a break-up. Instead of wishing for the girl back, “I Got Better” showcases the notion, that sometimes you actually are better off.

“Everything’s still pretty much the same ’round here // My neighbors still shootin’ all of next year’s deer // Boys still lose ‘less they’re playin’ at home // But I got better since you got gone // I’m still a few too many on a Friday night // I still try to step in when it ain’t my fight // I’m still me, don’t get me wrong // But I got better since you got gone”

“I Got Better” marks Wallen’s nineteenth number one single, with other songs already making waves on the country charts as we speak!
