Luke Bryan Scores Number One with Song “Love You, Miss You, Mean It”
Luke Bryan scores his 31st number one song at country radio this week with single, “Love You, Miss You, Mean It.” Learn all the details here.
A mainstay in country music, everything Luke Bryan touches becomes a hit. His infectious personality and catchy songs have had country music fans celebrating his music for well over a decade. His most recent single, “Love You, Miss You, Mean It” marks his 31st number one song at country radio.
Bryan first debuted the new single at Country Radio Seminar back in February. The romantic song fits perfectly into Bryan’s catalog of hits. According to the singer, he knew that he had to cut this song upon his first listen. “This song was special from the first time I heard it,” shared Bryan in a recent press release. “I knew it would resonate. It’s about young love and that whole process of trying to make relationships work through the on again and off again cycles. My wife and I went through that journey during college and I know a lot of people out there have too.”
“We were small-town meant to be // My momma loved her, her daddy loved me // We’d burned up the room between her house and mine // We kiss in her driveway // By the time I hit the highway // She called to tell me goodnight one more time // And she’d say, “Love you, miss you, mean it // Boy, I’ll see you when I’m dreamin’ // I can’t wait to feel you hold me again // Till then I’ll be countin’ down the minutes // I’ll be climbin’ up these walls // Your kiss, I want it, need it // Love you, miss you, mean it, baby”
Congrats to Bryan and his team on another incredible number one!
