Carrie Underwood shares new surprise song, “Out of That Truck” out now, March 10th on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new song below.
Country superstar Carrie Underwood celebrated her 40th birthday in a special way: by giving her fans a gift in the form of a surprise new track.
The release of, “Out of That Truck” comes just nine months after Underwood’s latest full studio album, Denim & Rhinestones, and the sound is a throwback to earlier projects in the singer-songwriter’s illustrious 18-year career.
With a catchy twang and back road imagery to match, the melody and guitar-driven instrumentation are a return to the GRAMMY winner’s country roots, while the lyrics and theme are a perfect follow-up to 2022 single, “Ghost Story.” Both are about the memories and nostalgia that linger long after a relationship is done.
“My Silverado silhouette // Still shotgun riding in your head // So when you’re runnin’ around in that stick shift Chevy, I bet it drives you crazy // Thinkin’ about us on every other back road, baby // You got someone new on your bench seat, trying to forget me lately // But my memory’s stuck, so good luck // Tryna get me out of that truck”
Written by Underwood, consistent collaborator David Garcia, and Lydia Vaughn, “Out of That Truck” is a perfect song to blast with the windows down this spring.
Underwood is just a few stops away from wrapping up the Denim & Rhinestones Tour, a 43-city spectacle with special guest Jimmie Allen. But there’s no rest for Country music royalty – just a few months later she’ll return to Las Vegas to continue her residency show, REFLECTION at the Resorts World Theater.

Sibling trio, Track45 are back with a brand new song that is primed for singing your heart out to. The trio combine their one-of-a-kind talents on their new track, “Hate Me.” While the song is heartbreaking if you have been through a situationship before, it is certainly medicine for the heartbroken.
Track45’s “Hate Me” is relatable and fun to listen to; despite, the melancholy lyric. They lament about how it feels to be stuck in the merry-go-round with an on and off again, should-have-been relationship. Track45 conveys the emotions flawlessly, while still bringing some sass to the song.
“Tell me that you never want to see me again // That you don’t even wanna be friends // You don’t care what I do // You don’t care where I’ve been // Cause I’ve been, holding on to something broke, when I oughta be letting go // Next time it’s late and you’re all alone // Picking up your phone // I wish you’d call me up and tell me that you hate me // I wish I’d hear you found somebody to replace me”
Track45 are a uniquely talented act in country music. They bring their harmonies, stellar songwriting, and incredible vocals to the forefront with each and every new release. “Hate Me” may be one of their best songs to date.

We love reminiscing about all of the great country music to hit country radio over the last few years. In our brand new series, we’re looking back on the songs that made it to the top of the country airplay charts. Today, we’re highlighting songs in Dierks Bentley’s career that hit the number one spot.
“What Was I Thinkin” – Dierks Bentley, 2003
Dierks Bentley’s debut single to country radio, “What Was I Thinkin'” hit number one less than five months after its release; an impressive feat for a young artist. Its fun story and high energy make this a timeless classic.
“Come A Little Closer” – Modern Day Drifter, 2005
Not particularly known for love ballads, Bentley’s second number one is a romantic melody about letting physical love fix all the problems and worries in a relationship.
“Settle for a Slowdown” – Modern Day Drifter, 2005
Bentley sings about how depressing it was to watch his girl drive away for good. He hopes to see brake lights but knows it’s not likely, so he would be happy just to see her slow down and consider turning around.
“Every Mile a Memory” – Long Trip Alone, 2006
Every country singer has at least one song about driving in a truck; this is Bentley’s. He sings about how every mile he drove reminded him of a time with his ex. He should be in awe looking at the western sunset or the stars in the Texas sky, but all he thinks about is her.
“Free And Easy (Down the Road I Go)” – Long Trip Alone, 2006
In this bluegrass hit, Bentley reminds us that as long as the sun is shining and you have clothes on your back, everything is going to be alright. You only have one life to live, so you should not spend it worrying about what the future holds.
“Feel That Fire” – Feel That Fire, 2009
The title track off his 4th studio album, “Feel That Fire” is about a reckless girl who acts on instinct and likes to live on the edge. Although she has a wild exterior, she longs for a real lover who makes her feel needed.
“Sideways” – Feel That Fire, 2009
Bentley describes the southern honkytonk scene in this upbeat song. Not a whole lot of substance in this track, but it does a great job of putting the listener in a good mood and ready for a fun night.
“Am I the Only One” – Home, 2012
Another fun, drinking song, Bentley fears that he is the only one who wants to party tonight. This is the perfect track to kick off your tailgate playlist.
“Home” – Home, 2012
This unifying anthem reminds us of what America is really about. No matter what hardships we go through as a country, this will always be the place we call home.
“5-1-5-0” – Home, 2012
This high-energy song gets the fans riled up at his concerts, as Bentley lets the audience sing along to the chorus with him. Essentially, this woman’s love makes him crazy.
“I Hold On” – Riser, 2014
A fan-favorite and staple in Bentley’s live set, “I Hold On” is a very personal track about the things in life he will never let go of, including his truck, his guitar, his religion, and his wife.
“Drunk On A Plane” – Riser, 2014
After calling off the wedding, the man in the song decides to go on the honeymoon anyway. He throws his own party on the plane ride there. This is Bentley’s biggest song, going 3X-Platinum, and is usually his live show closer.
“Say You Do” – Riser, 2014
Written by Shane McAnally with Old Dominion’s Matt Ramsey and Trevor Rosen, this song describes a physical relationship between a man and a woman after a big fight. The man is begging her to forgive him just for one more night.
“Somewhere on a Beach” – Black, 2016
The lead single off his 8th studio album, the protagonist in this fun, breakup song is using the beach and a new girl to get over his ex. Some speculate the man in this song is the same as the one in “Drunk on a Plane,” and he is enjoying the honeymoon a little more than he thought he would.
“Different for Girls” ft. Elle King – Black, 2016
“Different For Girls” highlights what breakups are typically like for both men and women. While men can act tough, throw on a nice t-shirt, and head to the bar, women usually take it much harder.
“Black” – Black, 2017
Dierks Bentley’s “Black” serves as the title track off his 8th album. Bentley’s vocals shine on this sexy and sultry track.
“Woman, Amen” – The Mountain, 2018
Bentley thanks God and expresses his gratitude for all the women in his life in this hit, which served as the lead single off his 9th album. During his live shows on the corresponding tours, black and white photos of women of all different races and ages dance across the backdrop, ending with a beautiful photo of his wife, Cassidy.
“Burning Man” ft. Brothers Osborne – The Mountain, 2019
“Burning Man” serves as the second single released from The Mountain and features Brothers Osborne on the fun, uptempo track. The song is a standout at shows with it’s upbeat melody and fun collaboration.
“Living” – The Mountain, 2019
This feel-good song explains the difference between being alive and living. It is paired with an adorable music video featuring his youngest child, Knox. Although the song suggests it is about being one with nature, the video showcases Bentley having an adventurous day with his son.
“Gone” – 2021
“Gone” marks the first of two standalone tracks released in 2020 dubbed, “covid holdover songs”. With no particular home on an album, the song laments the idea of a heartbroken person, wasting their days away after a failed relationship.
“Beers on Me” ft. HARDY & Breland, 2022
Bentley’s most recent number one single, “Beers on Me” with HARDY and Breland, serves as his latest and 21st single to top the charts. Adding rising stars HARDY and Breland make this fun-loving, upbeat anthem the perfect track to add to your playlist.
“Gold” – Gold, 2023
Over the years, Bentley has fine-tuned his musical style, delivering simple, yet perfectly elevated songs that are clearly influenced by 90s and folk music. “Gold” is one of those songs. A true embodiment of simple living, “Gold” showcases Bentley at his best. Fans seem to agree.

Who is Vincent Mason? The singer-songwriter joined us to chat about his journey to country music. Get to know the rising star here…
Quick Facts:
Full Name – Vincent Mason
Birthdate – November 10th, 2000
Hometown – Roswell, Georgia
Current City – Nashville, Tennessee
Musical Influences – Parker McCollum, John Mayer, Morgan Wallen, Eric Church, Ernest
Current Single – “A Little Too Good” (As of article date – 3/6/23)
The Beginning:
Today our spotlight shines on an artist that is truly made for this industry. Vincent Mason grew up loving sports; however, when he realized his knack for music, everything changed. Learn more about his story here.
“I grew up right outside of Atlanta and I wasn’t doing music much. I was really playing football and basketball, but I liked it a lot,” he began. “When I was a kid, I would always kind of be singing, but I never thought it was anything like that, and then I didn’t get a guitar until my sophomore year of high school. I didn’t start playing and singing until senior year.”
A music fan at first, Mason found himself listening to a variety of music during his upbringing. “I was listening to a lot of genres. I didn’t really listen to country music until 8th grade or freshman year, but my dad loved whatever was new, so whatever the hit was with pop music, was what I was listening to. Around 5th or 6th grade, I started listening to rap, too” he shared. “Then in 8th grade/freshman year, when country radio kind of had a new moment with Sam Hunt and Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line, those guys, I definitely had an ear for country hits.” He also shared that he became a huge fan of John Mayer later on in high school. Mayer is an artist that continues to be a huge inspiration to him.
After high school, Mason left home to attend school at Ole Miss, where on a whim, he decided to bring his guitar with him. A few months later, he found himself dabbling with writing songs. “Around Christmas break at Ole Miss I had written my first song and that was about two years ago, so ever since I wrote the first one I knew that was what I wanted to do, but I was kind of late to it. It wasn’t really a childhood kind of thing for me.”
The Turning Point:
Mason returned to college for his second semester, only to get sent home in March due to the looming pandemic. While home, the singer-songwriter began to hone his craft at country songwriting, drawing inspiration from artists like Mayer and Parker McCollum.
“I was listening to country hits and John Mayer, leading up to the first song that’s really always been the balance of what I’m doing in my songwriting. Parker McCollum’s doing a really good job […] As soon as I heard him, I thought I could write a song,” he shared, adding, “The balance [McCollum] struck is kind of what I’m after.” This enticed Mason to write songs that had vibes similar to Mayer, but with a country flair.
With just a few weeks before he was slated to go back to school, Mason took a leap of faith. “I kept writing through that summer (2020), and I remember coming down one day, 2 or 3 weeks before I was supposed to go back to Ole Miss, and I told my parents I’ve been writing songs and I really just think I need to go to Nashville.”
Mason added, “I immediately tried to backtrack and my mom was like ‘no you said it and you meant it, so we’ll figure out a way to get you there.’” Shortly thereafter, the singer was armed with a dream and a spot at Lipscomb University in Nashville.
Today:
Flash forward to today, Mason has a handful of songs already out, with many more coming down the pipeline and an EP in the works. Most recently, the singer released a song called, ” A Little Too Good.” Interestingly, Mason wrote the song as an assignment for his songwriting class.
“That was the first song I wrote when I moved here,” he began. “It was September or October of 2020, and I was in a songwriting class at Lipscomb, and the assignment was to take 2 songs and elements from 2 different songs and make something new out of it.” Drawing inspiration from unreleased songs at the time by Morgan Wallen and Parker McCollum, “A Little Too Good” was created.
“I thought it was a cool way to kind of get at something going wrong […] It felt like an interesting way to say something was going wrong to start out by saying it was too good. That was the first time I had to finish something on a deadline, so I sat up all night trying to finish it for class the next day.”
“A Little Too Good” is a song that perfectly describes Mason’s artistry. It also gives fans a window into what the upcoming EP, slated for an April release will entail. According to the singer, “I will be releasing hopefully as much music as we can get out.” Keep your eyes and ears peeled!

Morgan Wallen’s new album, One Thing At A Time is out now, March 3rd on all streaming platforms. Listen to the new album below.
After a monumental sophomore album, Morgan Wallen is back with a massive record that he hopes will top it all. The superstar’s third studio album One Thing At A Time is a 36-track project, featuring songs for each and every type of country fan and music fan alike. Time and time again, Wallen proves his staying power, and One Thing At A Time is another example of that.
“This record represents the last few years of my life, the highs and the lows,” Wallen shares in a press release. “It also brings together the musical influences that have shaped me as an artist – country, alternative and hip-hop. There are 36 songs on this album because we just kept exploring with fresh lyrics, music and production ideas and these are the songs that felt right to me. It was a blast to create, and I was so grateful to be back in the studio to lay this out for my fans.”
The brand new project kicks off with a true-blue country anthem, “Born With A Beer In My Hand.” Wallen explores themes of drinking in country music, dabbling with sobriety on this touching opener. Similarly on “Dying Man,” the album’s closer, Wallen laments on vices that have taken some of the greats. According to the singer, he credits his son for helping him get on a straighter path. The single is one of the stand-outs on the project.
The record continues to progress with previously released songs “Last Night” and “Everything I Love.” “Last Night” is already primed to be Wallen’s next single, while “Everything I Love” is an incredible country song about not being able to face all your favorite spots after going through a heartbreak. Wallen continues to explore themes of heartbreak on songs like, “Devil Don’t Know,” “Keith Whitley,” and “Had It,” among others.
Themes of nostalgia and growth are also evident on the new record. On “’98 Braves,” the entertainer uses a baseball reference as a metaphor for expressing a relationship that had run its course. The song has similar vibes to Wallen hits like “7 Summers” and “More Than My Hometown.” On “Tennessee Numbers,” the singer laments again about a relationship that was not just quite right.
Of course, Wallen enlists heavy hitters to collaborate on his new album. On “In the Bible,” the singer-songwriter duets with his friend and frequent collaborator, HARDY. The single is a story-telling song that brings the honesty and authenticity that we are used to seeing from both artists.
On the additional collaborations, “Man Made A Bar” featuring Eric Church and “Cowgirls” featuring ERNEST, Wallen gives off fresh, nostalgic vibes. While the former is a more countrified tune about a man needing to create a bar to get through hardships, “Cowgirls” features a more modern flair, as a celebration to cowgirls. The latter vibe is one we see sprinkled throughout the rest of the project.
Fans who appreciate Wallen’s more modern side, where he infiltrates hip-hop influences will be drawn to songs like “Hope That’s True, ” and “180 (Lifestyle.)” On “Hope That’s True,” the entertainer sings about polar opposites with a melody that will leave the song stuck in your head. Similarly, on “180 (Lifestyle),” Wallen leans into vibes that are similar to his song “Broadway Girls.” Track 8, “Ain’t That Some” may appeal to fans who enjoy when Wallen bridges the gap between his country and hip-hop influences.
The singer continues to bring his own flavor throughout the record on some of our favorite songs for the project, “Me + All Your Reasons” and “Single Than She Was.” While both songs are different lyrically and sonically, they feel reminiscent of Wallen’s debut record, an ode to day one fans.
Finally, one of the standout tracks on the record comes at the tail-end of the project with “Outlook.” Written by Wallen with Rodney Clawson and Jeff Hyde, the single is a full-circle moment for the artist, where he acknowledges he lets go of some of his old waves in favor of faith and growth. The track is a beautiful moment on the project.
In just a few years, Wallen has given country music lovers more music than any fan can even ask for, and with each release, he continues to evolve his artistry, while simultaneously cementing himself into the country music landscape. One Thing At A Time is a record to be proud of.
One Thing At A TimeTrack List:
“Born with a Beer in My Hand” (Morgan Wallen, Zach Abend, Michael Hardy)
“Last Night” (John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Ryan Vojtesak)

Jimmie Allen covers The Rolling Stones classic hit, “Miss You” out today on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand-new track below.
In honor of the 60th Anniversary of The Rolling Stones, country music is celebrating with a tribute album called Stoned Cold Country. Country artists celebrate the legacy of The Rolling Stones through fourteen distinct covers of some of their greatest hits. Last year, Brothers Osborne and The War and Treaty gave their best rendition of the classic, “It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It)” and Elvie Shane shared his version of “Sympathy For The Devil” earlier this year. Today, country star, Jimmie Allen lends his voice to the classic Rolling Stones song, “Miss You.”
Allen’s version of “Miss You,” starts off with a killer banjo moment that the song was begging for. The singer’s smooth and honest vocals also lend themselves well to the classic. While the original version has a more rock appeal, Allen’s version feels perfectly poised for a country-rock anthem with a touch of soul.
Fans can expect the full-length album, Stoned Cold Country, coming later this year. The record will feature even more iconic covers from some of your favorite artists like Zac Brown Band, Elle King, Brooks & Dunn, Ashley McBryde, and more. We look forward to hearing more tunes this year, and of course, more unexpected collaborations.
