Walker Hayes joins forces with Carin León on Spanglish rendition of his hit song “Fancy Like,” out today, October 1st. Learn more about the brand new track below.
Walker Hayes just released a new version of his hit song “Fancy Like” – a Spanish Remix with Latin Singer Carin León.
The remix is just as fun and catchy as the original, but with some Spanish flair! León brings his incredible vocals and puts his own twist on the tune. Hayes and León’s remix will kick off Amazon Music’s new “Whiskey & Tequila” playlist, which combines regional Mexican and country music, two of Amazon Music’s most popular genres. The song was released today as an Amazon Original, along with a behind-the-scenes video that shows Hayes welcoming León to Nashville and introducing to the lifestyle.
Hayes went viral on TikTok over the summer after he and his daughter released a dance video for “Fancy Like”. Within 24 hours, they knew the song had taken off. To date, it has been viewed more than 30 million times and has inspired more than a half-million original versions of the dance. In this time, Hayes’ TikTok followers have grown from 85,000 to 1.9 million.
“Fancy Like”, known to many as ‘The Applebees Song’, even led to a partnership between Hayes and the legendary chain restaurant. Hayes and his family have made cameos in their commercials, photos of them are on the menu, and the song allowed for the infamous Oreo Cookie milkshake to return to the menu by popular demand.
The traction of the song has now led to remixes with other prominent artists, only furthering the reach of the song. In addition to this remix with León, Hayes also released a remix with Kesha last month.

There’s something special about Lily Rose. Her voice shines with hints of 90’s country, while her music is a perfect combination of that, mixed with hints of pop, soul and R&B.
With an eclectic pop-country sound, Rose embraces being one of country music’s few openly gay artists, singing about the woman who broke her heart and the one she hopes to find love with. There’s no hiding herself here, and that makes the project all the more personal. Throughout the seven songs, Rose deals with a breakup, explores the possibility of new love, and celebrates the virtues of her hometown.
Following the viral success of her song “Villain” on TikTok, Rose signed a joint deal with Big Loud Records, Back Blocks Music, and Republic Records to release her debut project, Stronger Than I Am, out today, October 1. The singer-songwriter co-wrote four of the seven tracks, which also include songs written by fellow genre-bending artists like Sam Hunt, Ernest, and Breland.
The viral hit, “Villain,” opens the album, having Rose sound like a country-leaning Adele on the breakup song. Over the groovy mid-tempo track, Rose sings of the two sides of a story that tend to accompany the end of every relationship. She’s okay with negative light for the sake of her ex, singing “You can be the hero // I can take the fall / If that’s how your story goes // Say it’s all my fault // Whatever helps you sleep at night // Yeah you can make me the bad guy // Make ‘em all believe it // If that’s how you’re feelin’ // I can be the villain.” Meanwhile, things take a turn near the end of the song, Rose admitting,“What they don’t know is I tried to make us work it out // but I couldn’t save us // I couldn’t save us.”
The album’s first few tracks all center around the theme of the various stages of grief that go with heartbreak. The clever title track is a highlight from the project and finds Rose dealing with her broken heart by occasionally finding strength and solace in a bottle of “something that’s stronger than I am.” While she admits that “sometimes I can handle my own,” it’s not all roses for Rose. “Tonight, I don’t feel like I can // That’s why I’m sitting here on something // That’s stronger than I am.”
Meanwhile, the previously-released “I Don’t Smoke,” has a vulnerable Rose admitting that it’s impossible for her to ignore her ex. “That’s like saying I don’t smoke when I drink,” she admits on the stunning track, a clear standout on the album.
On “Remind Me Of You”, Rose is trying to move on and it’s proving difficult. “Girl, you were all that I wanted // And that’s why falling in love with her // Is so hard to do,” she admits. “She don’t remind me of you // She’s checking every box on the list // But there’s one that she missed // I think I know what it is // She don’t remind me of you.”
Meanwhile, “Know My Way Around” shows a more hopeful singer, revealing the things she knows all too well and the one she wants to know more of. “Cause ever since you walked in // Only thing that I’ve been thinking ‘bout is my next move,”she sings to the girl who caught her eye. “I just wanna know my way around you.”
The seven track project ends with “Whole Lotta Hometowns,” arguably the most country song here as she celebrates the town she grew up in. “There’s a whole lotta hometowns,” she proclaims on the anthemic tune. “But only one of them’s mine.” With driving guitars that surround Rose’s lush vocals, “Whole Lotta Hometowns” is the perfect closer to the album, showing a different side to the profoundly talented singer-songwriter.
On Stronger Than I Am, Lily Rose has released an honest body of work that explores the various facets of a breakup in a way that’s remarkably real, raw, and relatable.

“There’s still a little bit of America left in America”, Logan Mize sings on the opening line of the first track, “George Strait Songs” off his brand new album, Welcome To Prairieville. No verse explains the project more: for the past decade, Mize has been chronicling the simple, middle-town America life through his songwriting, and it has all come to fruition on the 11-song project. The sonics are classic, almost 90s sounding, while still remaining modern enough. It would sound perfect on radio airwaves, as it was made to be listened to driving down backroads.
“There’s still these hardworking, great, open-minded people that want to be independent; these little towns that don’t need a Walmart, and that’s what ‘George Strait Songs’ is about”, Mize shared with us in a recent interview.
Next up, the title track “Welcome to Prairieville” was written in 2011, over ten years ago, and it ties the entire project together. “That sign ain’t right on the edge of town // And the population keeps on going down”, he sings on the first verse. “It’s a pretty drive if you’ve got the time to kill // Welcome to Prairieville”.
“I Need Mike” is the only song that Mize did not write on the project. It’s a really evocative story-song, and although it’s specific, everyone has a “Mike” they can relate this song to. Blake Chaffin penned the track and serves as Mize’s main co-writer on the album. Each of the two songwriters chose a solo-write to include on the project and “I Need Mike” was Chaffin’s. “When I put it up against the rest of the songs, I really felt like ‘I Need Mike’ was [one of] the best songs on the project”, Mize tells us. “It makes you feel something. I don’t think I could have left it off. It felt like me… it’s just as much my record as it is his.”
The album ends with closing track It’s About Time”. A tune that is probably the most stunning song sonically, and it’s a hopeful way to drive out of Prairieville. It’s visual and dreamy, and it leaves you feeling like things are going to work out both in Prairieville and outside of the town.
“But I made it home // Found a reason // And the words to rhyme // Oh, I finally feel just like myself // And it’s about time”
If you don’t know Mize’s music yet, even though he’s put out a number of albums before, in some ways this acts as a re-introduction to who he is and his songwriting style. It is full of passion and small-town soundbites that will leave anyone reminiscing for their hometown. There’s nothing that sounds like this record right now, but at the same time, it is simple and timeless. It has all the influences of Mize’s life in central Kansas, and the refined polish of the Nashville sound. Overall, it is purely a wonderful, cohesive 11-track collection.

Ahead of his Body Language Deluxe Album, due out December 3rd, today, Blake Shelton dropped a brand new track titled “Come Back As A Country Boy.” The Oklahoma-raised superstar doubles down on being a good ole country boy on the fun new song.
With a vibe similar to his smash hit “God’s Country,” the new song is sure to entice fans. Shelton leans into all the stereotypes of country-living, showcasing his undeniable pride for the way he was raised in each lyric he sings. “Come Back As A Country Boy” is a true anthem for the country way of life.
“When I die, I wanna come back as a country boy // No there ain’t no better life if you ask me // If my neck don’t come out red, then lord just keep me dead // Cause a country boy is all I know how to be”

As his recent summer release and current radio single, “New Truck”, climbs the charts, Dylan Scott dropped another brand new track, “Static”, out today. With promises of a new full length album coming soon, “Static” and “New Truck” are the first taste of what fans can expect to hear on the future project. In an exclusive interview with us this past summer, Scott shared, “We did a lot of writing and recording during quarantine. It’s more of what I’ve done in the past, but at a more mature level and I think the lyrics reflect that”.

About the song, Scott says that “”Static” is a song that relates to a lot of people’s lives, including mine, to a T. You grow up in a small town, and all you can think about is leaving that small town, chasing a dream, chasing a dollar, moving to a bigger city. And once you get there, it’s all great. But sometimes you’ve just got to get back out in the middle of nowhere, back to your roots, where there’s nothing but a little static on the radio.”
“There’s something “’bout a red dirt road that makes the sky more blue // there’s something ‘bout the concrete that scrapes the roots right off of you // I moved here ‘cause making dollars made good sense // something ‘bout them city limits feels more like a fence, yeah”
The new song is about taking a break from the fast-paced city life, getting back to your roots and finding a spot where you can clear your head for a while, relax and reconnect with yourself.

Today, the singer released his brand new song with songstress, H.E.R. called “Blessed & Free.”
The new song comes on the heels of Brown’s popular collaborative songs with Chris Young and blackbear. The latter, “Memory” has garnered quite the praise. While “Famous Friends” with Young went on to become a number one song on country radio charts. “Blesssed & Free” is sure to follow suit in popularity. The R&B-inspired song is soulful, authentic, and mesmerizing. Brown and H.E.R’s voices blend effortlessly in this unexpected, but stellar collaboration.

We chatted with country singer-songwriter Logan Mize about his new album, Welcome To Prairieville, out this Friday, October 1st. Here are five things to expect from the project.
The project has been 10 years in the making.
“This album is more of a themed album… there’s probably 60+ songs that were written for this project and there’s storylines that I completely scrapped… it became bigger than the town. It was 10 years of me developing my writing style.”
When writing the opening track “George Strait Songs”, Mize knew it was the perfect opening track.
“I left Nashville four years ago and moved back to central Kansas… I loved the idea of ‘there’s still a little bit of America left in America’ as an opening line. Once the song was done and I could hear it, it felt like it had to be the opening.”
The first song written for the project was the title track, “Welcome to Prairieville”
“I wrote that song back in 2011. That one is 10 years old… it was like, let’s start with the town.”
“It’s About Time”, the closing track, is a solo-write by Mize.
“”It’s About Time” was written in one of the final hours, and it kind of fell out and I just knew it belonged on the project.”
“I Need Mike” is the only song Mize didn’t write for the project, and there’s a reason for that.
“Blake Chaffin, who wrote almost every song with me, we both brought stacks of songs to this project. When we were sitting around going through songs, and I asked him “if you were to pick one of your solo writes which would it be?” And this was his.”

On social media, Parton shared “I was so excited when someone told me that Lil Nas X had done my song “Jolene”. I had to find it and listen to it immediately…and it’s really, really good. Of course, I love him anyway. I was surprised and I’m honored and flattered. I hope he does good for both of us. Thank you @lilnasx”
Lil Nas X showcased his natural-born talent on his version of the song. He adds a smokey and dark mood to the memorable and popular tune. True artistry! We are exited to see what the country-rapper has up his sleeve next. Whatever it may be, it’s clear it’s going to be a surprise!
