Carly Pearce joins forces with Chris Stapleton on new song “We Don’t Fight Anymore,” out now, June 16th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

Carly Pearce has solidified herself as one of the most deserving and talented singer-songwriters in country music right now. The Grammy-award winning entertainer creates music with real heart embedded throughout. She also shines in collaborative songs. Today, Pearce is collaborating yet again with another country music superstar, Chris Stapleton. Pearce and Stapleton join forces on their new song “We Don’t Fight Anymore.”

Written by the songstress alongside frequent collaborator Shane McAnally and Pete Good, “We Don’t Fight Anymore” is a song all about losing that spark in a relationship. Like most people say, once you stop fighting, you essentially stop caring, and check out of the relationship. Together, Pearce and Stapleton bring the story-telling to the touching, yet heart-wrenching song.

“We don’t yell ‘cause what the hell difference would it make // We don’t cuss and we don’t care enough to
even hate // We could tear up the house // We could burn the whole thing down but boy what for // ‘Cause we don’t even fight anymore // The only time we ever touch is in the hall // We talk about the weather, if we talk at all // If your phone rings in the middle of the night // I don’t even try to look to see who’s calling”

According to Pearce in a recent press release, “I’ve always wanted to write music that makes people feel something – whether that is feeling seen, less alone, happy or even uncomfortable. ‘We Don’t Fight Anymore’ felt like I was writing one of those stories that, whether or not we want to include it in our social media highlight reel, we’ve either been there or are living there right now.” She later shared, “Having Chris Stapleton join me on this song was a dream come true and he unlocked an element to the story that I didn’t even know it needed.”

While it is hard for any song to compete with Pearce and Ashley McBryde’s incredible duet, “Never Wanted To Be That Girl,” “We Don’t Fight Anymore” with Stapleton is definitely up there!

American Idol Season 20 winner Noah Thompson truly won the hearts of everyone during his season. Since making his debut as a country artist, Thompson has garnered a fanbase of loyal fans that continue to support him with each and every release. Today, fans are being rewarded with the singer-songwriter’s debut EP, Middle of God Knows Where, out now.

“I’m so excited to have this project out, and I am so proud that I’m finally releasing two songs that I co-wrote,” shared Thompson in a recent press release. “I named the EP, Middle of God Knows Where because I felt the title track is the heart of this project and one of the first I ever co-wrote that I felt was me. I’m so excited for the fans to hear it.”

The new project features six new songs, including fan-favorite, previously released tracks, “One Day Tonight” and “Make You Rich.” Both of those songs really set the foundation for what fans could expect from this debut. Additionally, Thompson made sure to add his cover of Rihanna’s song, “Stay.” The song was a special moment on the entertainer’s American Idol journey, so it feels like a perfect addition.

The record also features two songs that Thompson co-wrote, including the title track. On the title track, the singer expresses what it is like to go through heartbreak. Thompson also co-penned “Us No More.” The song clues the listener into what it is like to go through a public break-up. While also a break-up jam, “Us No More” is more anthemic, while “Middle of God Knows Where” feels more pensive. However, both songs beautifully showcase Thompson’s songwriting prowess, honesty, and authenticity.

Of course, the record would not have been complete without a romantic song called “She Gets It From Me.” Written by Michael Tyler, Chris LaCorte, and Ross Ellis, the track speaks to Thompson’s romantic and flirty side. The track adds another layer to the singer’s artistry, keeping fans excited for what’s to come.

Middle of God Knows Where is the perfect debut project for Thompson. Each of the six songs feel perfectly slated for the record. This marks just the beginning for the rising star.
