Brett Young’s Releases “Here Tonight” & Announces New Album

Brett Young Here Tonight

After weeks of teasing fans via his social media, with clips and sneak peaks of his new song and upcoming album, the reigning ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year, Brett Young, delivers another sure to be charted single, “Here Tonight.” In the same vein as his hits, “Mercy” and “In Case You Didn’t Know,” the song evokes so much emotion that the listener can’t help but to get caught up in the heartfelt lyrics.

Co-written by Young with Ben Caver, Justin Ebach, and Charles Kelley, “Here Tonight” tells a romantic story of a man getting so caught up in falling in love that it feels like the only moment in time, wishing that it could last forever.

With that being said, “Here Tonight” is a slight departure from the singer-songwriter’s usual sound and heartbreaking lyrics. The track features both pop influences, as well as, a more uptempo, California vibe, making the single a seemingly perfect fit for the California native’s upcoming sophomore album entitled Ticket to L.A.

The artist’s sophomore record, Ticket to L.A. is slated to be released on December 7th via Big Machine Label Group. Album pre-orders are available everywhere, with an exclusive album bundle offered here. The record consists of 13 tracks, including the first single (track two), “Here Tonight.” If the newly released track tells us anything, we can expect Young to show growth both sonically and lyrically, while playing with different genres and tempos, but still delivering those heartfelt and meaningful lyrics we so desire.

Check out the lyric video and the full list of album tracks below. The entertainer will be heading out on his first headlining tour, ‘Brett Young’s CMT on Tour: Here Tonight,’ to New York City’s Playstation Theatre on December 9th, with openers Tyler Rich and Rachel Wammack. Ryan Hurd Releases “To A T” featuring Maren Morris

Ryan Hurd To A T

After listening ten times just like Ryan Hurd said to do in his most recent Instagram post, we can agree he has a smash new single on his hands. Though in reality, it doesn’t take more than listening to half of the song to be hooked. The melody of “TO A T” pulls you in immediately and without any second guessing you can tell it will be a fan favorite. The singer-songwriter has been teasing “TO A T” for the past week on social media, first appearing in a video of his coffee cup and later released as a small preview of what was to come. After waiting patiently for Hurd’s next song, it is finally available for download today.

Hurd hasn’t released a new song since March 2018 when he dropped his hit “Diamonds or Twine” as a wedding gift to his wife, Maren Morris. The two met because of music when they were both solely songwriters and now with a singing career of his own, he uses Morris as his muse. The sentiment behind “TO A T” is loving, showing how much he cares for her. As a songwriter, he masters the lyrics perfectly from start to finish telling a sexy love story. That’s not all the song has to offer, the rising country artist herself also takes part in Hurd’s new song. She can be heard harmonizing and providing backup vocals, their voices intertwining flawlessly.  Hurd has got it down “TO A T” with his new release, giving everyone a taste of what is coming next.

Luke Pell

New Music: Luke Pell Releases New Single “Radio”

Country Music rising artist Luke Pell first captured our hearts when we hosted a LIVE Swag Session with him back in March.  Pell began his journey into the country music world with the release of his debut single “Pretty Close” and a cross-country tour. He kicked off 2018 with a self-titled EP release and single “Ball Caps and Blue Jeans.”

Fast forward to today, Pell has debuted his latest single “Radio” and it can be streamed and downloaded everywhere music is available.  During our Swag Session, which you can watch below, Pell explains how when he was helping out on his family’s farm when he was younger, there was a small FM Radio that needed aluminum foil on the antenna to get a good signal to hear the two country stations.  Clearly, the music he heard on the radio back then has shaped his musical decisions in his career.

“Radio” pays homage to the radio and how it is the reason behind the things we love. So many things would not be the same if it wasn’t for it, from tailgating and bonfires to even just the simple everyday car rides. The radio is what gives artists like Pell a platform to release new music for the world to hear. The track was written by Pell along with Brock Berryhill, Jay Brunswick, and Taylor Phillips.  Take a listen to his new single below.

We partnered with Pell during the month of July to help raise money for Wounded Warrior Project, an organization he chose. Our Hero Collection honors the men and women of the Fire, Police, and Military Departments, and at the end of the month, a portion of the sales is donated to the organization.

Pell has a very exciting end of the year coming up. He will continue to tour throughout the fall and plans to spend the rest of the year writing for his next project. You can expect to hear more from the artist very soon. His follow up single to “Radio” will be a collaboration with Kalsey Kulyk and is anticipated to drop within the next few months. The future is looking very bright for this talented, rising artist and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for us in the future.

Morgan Evans Releases “Young Again” & Debut EP

Morgan Evans

The fact is “We will never be this young again”, sang Morgan Evans in his new song “Young Again”. The Aussie-born singer hit the nail on the head with this song. The track is all about celebrating life and living in the moment, making “Young Again” the new anthem for being young, wild and free. Even though Evans has been playing this song at various shows it is the official release of this upbeat and incredibly fun song. “Young Again” is one of five songs that came off his self-titled EP that is available today.

In honor of the release of “Young Again” and his new EP, Evans made a surprise visit to where it all started 10 years ago, Tootsies Orchid Lounge on Broadway in downtown Nashville. He posted on Instagram about going back to this beloved place saying, “More and more when I experience big life and career moments, they remind me of all the little ones that happened before and made them possible.”

Evans then went on to explain that the day he flew into Nashville the first stop was Tootsies saying, “I remember that moment as one of the defining ones, thinking, ‘This is the greatest city on earth.’” He thought it would be fitting to go back to the Nashville bar where his journey began. In the spirit of the song and EP, Evans bought the patrons in the bar a round of shots to toast the release. Here’s to never being this young again!

Evans kicked off the summer with his headline 10 in 10 Tour, which sold out New York City’s Mercury Lounge back in June.  New Yorkers, can catch him live on August 23rd at BMHMC Amphitheater at Bald Hill in Long Island with Brett Eldredge and Stephanie Quayle.  This Fall, Evans will join Chris Young as a special guest on his Losing Sleep 2018 World Tour which stops in New York on December 7th at Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum.

[Listen] Danielle Bradbery & Thomas Rhett Team Up for “Goodbye Summer”

Danielle Bradbery Goodbye Summer

Danielle Bradbery’s album I Don’t Believe We’ve Met was one of our favorites released last year.  The personal collection of songs showcased the songstress and her ability to reintroduce herself as a grown woman, in this industry and as a songwriter with meaningful thoughts to pour into her lyrics.  Just as the last full month of summer approaches, Bradbery released today “Goodbye Summer” an ode to a summer romance that ended too quickly.  On this new version of “Hello Summer” which is on her record, Bradbery features country superstar Thomas Rhett adding an undeniable depth as a duet.

“Thomas Rhett was one of the first mentors I had in Nashville and we’ve become really good friends over the years. He’s like a big brother to me, so to be able to record a song he wrote was incredibly special, I remember when I first heard the demo, I actually jammed to it with Thomas Rhett’s vocal on it as if it wasn’t even going to be mine,” Bradbery says in a recent press release.  “Now to have the opportunity to re-record the song with him – it’s a dream scenario.”

Check out the new song below and grab your copy of I Don’t Believe We’ve Met on iTunes here.
