Tyler Rich Shares His Heart on New Song “Give Up to Get It”

Tyler Rich shares brand new song, “Give Up to Get It,” out now, January 10th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the new track below.

Tyler Rich ended 2024 releasing arguably his best music to date as an independent artist. His songs, “All The Small Things” and “Home We Choose” felt special and excited us for more new music from the veteran. Kicking off 2025, Rich is sharing another new song, one that might even top the first two. “Give Up to Get It” is out now.

Co-written by Rich with Steven Lee Olsen and  Blake Bollinger, “Give Up to Get It” is as honest as music gets. The mid-tempo song captures the sacrifices that a person makes when chasing their dreams. Clearly written from a true place, Rich shares about the highs of doing music for a living and connecting with fans and the lows of being away from loved ones and missing important milestones.

In a recent press release, the singer-songwriter shared, “I think it’s something anyone who works away from home can relate to—whether you’re a musician on the road, a truck driver, a soldier, a doctor, or a nurse. It’s about missing family milestones, trading date nights for long hours on the job, but also about how those sacrifices can feel worth it when you’re doing something that truly matters. This song is a thank you to our fans and families for filling those tough moments with light and supporting us as we chase these dreams.”

“Give Up to Get It” is special!
