Warren Zeiders Earns His First Number One Song with “Pretty Little Poison”

Warren Zeiders earns his first number one song at country radio with his single, “Pretty Little Poison.” Get all the details here!

Talented outlaw country artist, Warren Zeiders is about to blast off into stardom, if he has not already. The singer-songwriter mesmerized fans and industry-alike with his major-label debut album, Pretty Little Poison. Now the title track of that record is officially the number one song at country radio this week.

Written by Zeiders with Ryan Beaver and Jared Keim, “Pretty Little Poison” speaks to temptation. Throughout the lyric, fans hear Zeiders grapple with a love that is toxic, yet addicting. The battle between choosing something or someone we love and keeping ourselves from getting hurt is the crux of the now, number one song.

“Leaning on old memories // And talking ’bout what we used to be // She’ll probably be the death of me // But damn if it ain’t sweet // She’s my pretty little poison // My heartache in the night // With a kiss on her lips just like cyanide // Yeah, she came with a warning // But I didn’t mind // I’ll go out on that high every time // She’s my pretty little poison // My pretty little poison”

Congrats to Zeiders on their first number one single at country radio! We cannot wait to see what song heads to country radio next.

Luke Combs’ “Where The Wild Things Are” Goes Number One

Luke Combs continues his streak of number ones with his next song to top the country charts, “Where The Wild Things Are.” Get all the details here!

Every song that Luke Combs puts out to country radio seems to make its way to the top! The superstar is one of the most recognizable voices in the genre and his talent is as real as they come. The singer scored his eighteen number one at country radio last week in collaboration with Riley Green. Today, he is adding to the streak. “Where The Wild Things Are” officially hit the top of the charts.

“Where The Wild Things Are” is a true-blue storytelling song. Throughout the single, Combs shares the stories of an older brother who moved out west to California with a surprising twist at the end. While the song is not necessarily coming from personal experience, the lyrics and the imagery clearly resonate with both the artist and his fanbase.

“He’d call me up every couple of weeks // From South California // Talk about the desert and the Joshua Tree // And his pretty girl stories // And how he bought an Airstream trailer and a J-45 guitar // Said, “Little brother, you’d love it out here // Out where the wild things are // Oh, it’s hearts on fire and crazy dreams // Oh, the nights ignite like gasoline // And light up those streets that never sleep when the sky goes dark // Out where the wild things are”

Congrats to Combs and his team on another monumental feat! It’s only a matter of time before his next radio single hits the top of the charts.

Riley Green + Luke Combs Go Number One with “Different ‘Round Here”

Riley Green and Luke Combs go number one this week at country radio with “Different ‘Round Here.” Get all the details here!

Back in May, Riley Green surprised fans and industry-alike by revamping his fan-favorite song, “Different ‘Round Here.” The patriotic and unapologetic song was never officially a radio single, but all that changes when Green added Luke Combs to the mix. The rendition of “Different ‘Round Here” with Combs officially found its way to the top of the country radio charts this week!

While Combs has collected many number ones at country radio, Green is still finding his groove despite his undeniable talent and loyal fanbase. Green’s last number one came as a joint-collaboration with Thomas Rhett on their song “Half Of Me.” This collaboration with Combs continues to show the talent that Green has, especially when it comes to speaking his truth and expressing authenticity. “Different ‘Round Here” is a song that should be remembered for decades to come.

“We stand for the flag, and if you don’t like it, we don’t care // ‘Cause we do things a little different round here // Brave is eighteen wearing army green // Truth is in the words, in red we read // Proud is what you say about where you’re from // Heroes are daddies and mamas are love // Where right is right, and wrong is wrong, yeah we’re // Doing things a little different ’round here”

We love seeing country radio finally embrace Chris Stapleton and his incredible music. While he should arguably have many more hits to his name, the singer-songwriter just earned his fourth number one at country radio with this single, “White Horse.”

Stapleton’s previous singles “Broken Halos”, “Starting Over,” and “You Should Probably Leave” also found their way to the top spot. What Does ‘This Shirt Saves Lives’ Mean? — St. Jude Campaign

Curious as to why so many of your favorite artists and celebrities are rocking a ‘This Shirt Saves Lives’ t-shirt? Learn all about the special tee and how you can get one to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital here…

As a country music fan, year after year, it’s almost certain that you’ve found your favorite country music artists supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Whether through benefit concerts, posts on social media, or rocking the ‘This Shirt Saves Lives’ tee, it’s pretty clear that St. Jude holds a very special place in the country music community.

While the answer may seem obvious by brief definition alone, — St. Jude leads the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. To learn even more, Country Swag took a visit to St. Jude during the annual ‘Country Cares Seminar’ this fall.

Launched more than 30 years ago, Randy Owen from the band Alabama stood up during Nashville’s Annual Country Radio Seminar and asked his friends, colleagues, and radio partners to join together to help St. Jude and the children they serve, and so, the ‘Country Cares Seminar’ was born. The program unites more than 200 radio stations, influencers, and dozens of country music artists annually to raise awareness and support for St. Jude.

During the seminar, all guests are invited to tour St. Jude, located in Memphis, Tennessee, and see firsthand the inspirational work that the teams at St. Jude are doing. Upon the first introduction, guests learn about the organization and what exactly makes it so impactful and so special. Perhaps the most remarkable part is that thanks to very generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food. Families receive the best care in the world, at no cost, making the worst and darkest days of their lives a little bit brighter – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

In addition, St Jude’s research facility and labs are open 24/7 and freely share their findings, protocols, and breakthroughs, so that every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands of more children.

Thanks to generous donations, the brilliant teams at St. Jude have access to equipment that costs millions and millions of dollars, which just not all doctors and scientists everywhere have access to. This not only gives them the freedom to focus on what matters most — saving kids regardless of their financial situation, but they are able to share their discoveries and patients everywhere are getting treatments that were started at St. Jude. Consequently, when you’re donating to St. Jude, you’re not just donating to one hospital in one city, you’re funding the source and if speaking to cancer patients around the world, a common thread may be that many have been treated by protocols that have been sourced by St. Jude. St. Jude is actively working towards a world where no family ever has to hear the words “you have cancer”.

Seeing the work, hearing stories from doctors and patients alike, and understanding the experiences at St. Jude make it easy to recognize the importance of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and instantly inspires guests to get involved and help raise awareness. Next time you see your favorite artists talking about and supporting St. Jude it’s likely because they were able to have these experiences too and see firsthand the amazing work done at St. Jude.

Words like “inspiring”, “joy”, “positivity” and “healing” are just some of the many terms that came to mind for country artists like Breland, Kameron Marlowe, and Randy Owen, during their visit to St. Jude, as seen in the video above.

There are great research institutions, great hospitals, and great charities. St. Jude is all three. You can join the cause and help support St. Jude and the incredible initiative set forth by many country artists and celebrities alike with the ‘This Shirt Saves Lives’ t-shirt. For a monthly donation of just $19, you get the exclusive tee and all funds directly support the incredible St. Jude organization.

It costs over a million dollars daily to operate St. Jude each and every day. Donations allow St. Jude to continue to help children everywhere.

Join us and many of your favorite country artists like Lainey Wilson, Jon Parsi, Jordan Davis, and Lady A, and help save lives.

A clear fan-favorite, “Save Me” is an introspective song that begs the listener to listen with their whole heart. The reimagined version of Jelly Roll’s track adds Wilson for a duet we never knew we needed! Just a few months after the singer’s debuted the song at the ACM awards, the song quickly found its way to the number one spot at country radio.

“They say my lifestyle is bad for my health // It’s the only thing that seems to help // All of this drinkin’ and smokin’ is hopeless // But feel like it’s all that I need // Somethin’ inside of me’s broken // I hold on to anything that sets me free // I’m a lost cause // Baby, don’t waste your time on me // I’m so damaged beyond repair // Life has shattered my hopes and my dreams”

“Can’t Have Mine” is a perfect song for Scott and his talent. The track speaks to love in a beautiful and romantic way. While, the singer-songwriter encourages listeners to find a love like the one he describes, he reminds listeners that they cannot have his one-of-a-kind love with his own wife.

“Find you a girl that leaves you speechless // Gets wild on the town but still loves Jesus // One that’s worth the wait even when she ain’t on time // Find you a girl that loves her daddy //And talkin’ ’bout babies makes her happy // Yeah, take it from me, that’s the kind you need to find // You just can’t have mine”

Country music superstar, Tim McGraw truly transcends generations. Last year, the singer-songwriter hit a major milestone, earning his 46th number one single at country radio. Today, McGraw adds to his collection of number ones with his single, “Standing Room Only.”

Written by Craig Wiseman, Tommy Cecil, and Patrick Murphy, “Standing Room Only” depicts the true meaning of life. The song expresses the importance of living a meaningful life that is worth remembering. It is no wonder that the song resonates with both fans and country radio alike. McGraw believes that this song speaks directly to the soul, and we tend to agree.

“Lookin’ up shakin’ my fist as the thunder rolls // Now and then on nights like this I catch a thunderbolt // I wanna live a life, live a life // Like a dollar and the clock on the wall don’t own me // Shine a light, shine a light // Like mama’s front porch when I’m lost and lonely // Start forgivin’ and start forgettin’ // Be somebody that’s worth rememberin’ // Live a life so when I die // There’s standing room only, standing room only // Standing room only, standing room only”
