Allen and his partner Emma Slater danced twice during the Janet Jackson-themed broadcast. At the end of the night, Allen was eliminated along with celebrity Olivia Jade, exiting the competition just shy of the semi-finals. The dancing may be over for Allen, but country fans can catch him back on stage later this week as he performs live at the CMA Awards Wednesday, November 10 on ABC.

Jimmie Allen Continues to Shine on Dancing With The Stars

Jimmie Allen stuns with incredible performances during week seven of Dancing With The Stars.

Dancing With The Stars is seven weeks into its historic 30th season and country star Jimmie Allen is still going strong. With Allen back on tour, the singer and his partner, Emma Slater have been rehearsing on the road with his family in tow. To make this week even harder, each dancer performed twice on the “Queen” themed broadcast.
Allen’s first dance, a Viennese waltz to “Somebody to Love” earned the duo a 38 out of a possible 40 from the judges, who commented on how much Allen is improving each week. The second round was a face-off featuring three couples dancing to the same song to win bonus points from the judges. Allen and Slater performed a foxtrot to “Pressure” against celebrities Olivia Jade and JoJo Siwa. None of the judges awarded bonus points to Allen, but his original scores and fan votes were enough to keep him in the competition, and he will advance to next week.

Jimmie Allen Gives Emotional ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Horror Night Performance

Jimmie Allen gave an incredibly moving and emotional performance during week six of Dancing With The Stars.

This week was Horror Night on Dancing with the Stars, and despite the spooky theme, Jimmie Allen was quite emotional during the Monday night broadcast. Allen and his partner, Emma Slater danced a contemporary piece designed to resemble a scene from the movie, A Quiet Place. Allen and Slater thrilled judges and fans alike, earning their first 10s of the season and a combined judges score of 38, allowing them to sail through to the next round. The country singer and father of three was moved to tears after the dance, explaining that the theme of the performance, protecting those you love at all costs, resonated so deeply that he couldn’t help but convey his emotions.

Jimmie Allen Earns Bonus Points on Dancing With The Stars’ Disney Week

Jimmie Allen scored two bonus points during a special two-night Disney Week Special for week four of Dancing With The Stars.

Four weeks into season 30 of Dancing With the Stars, Jimmie Allen continues to do country music proud. Allen danced twice across the two night Disney-themed contest and showed just how much he is improving every week. An emotional Allen dedicated the first dance to his father who died of kidney failure in 2019. The pasa doble with partner Emma Slater to “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from Mulan earned the pair a total score of 30 out of 40. Allen also won the night’s special bonus point competition for two extra points to who best completed the ‘Mickey Challenge.’
On night two, Allen earned his first 9s of the season for a jazz dance to Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy”. When the judges’ scores were combined with fan votes, Allen was safe, and will continue on to next week of the competition.

Jimmie Allen Channels His Inner Britney During DWTS Britney Spears Week

Jimmie Allen danced his way through week three with a performance to “Outrageous” during Britney Spears Week on Dancing With The Stars.

It was Britney Night on this week’s episode of Dancing with the Stars, and it turns out country star Jimmie Allen is a Britney Spears superfan. After dancing a salsa with partner Emma Slater to “Outrageous”, Allen proudly announced that he has seen Britney live 8 times and considers himself a huge fan. Unfortunately, the judges didn’t love the dance as much as Allen loves Britney, but the scores (6s from Len Goodman and Carrie Ann Inaba and a surprise 8 from Bruno Tonioli – Derek Hough did not attend out of an abundance of caution due to potential covid exposure) and fan votes during the live show were enough to send Jimmie through to the next round.
While Allen is enjoying his time on the show, it’s hard being away from his 15-month-old daughter Naomi and his wife Alexis, who is about to give birth to their second child. “The baby is due anytime!” Allen said, joking with host Tyra Banks that he told his wife if she sees a foot popping out on Mondays or Tuesdays (when the show tapes in Los Angeles) that she needs to hold that baby in.

Jimmie Allen Wows Fans with Dancing With The Stars Performance

Jimmie Allen danced his way through week two with a fan-favorite performance of his hit song “Make Me Want To” on Dancing With The Stars.

Country stars are no strangers to the Dancing With The Stars ballroom and Season 30 is no exception. Past competitors on the popular show include Lauren Alaina, Kellie Pickler, Wynonna Judd, Chuck Wicks, Jana Kramer, Billy Ray Cyrus, Sara Evans, and country radio personality Bobby Bones. Now, this season’s Jimmie Allen is taking his shot at winning the coveted mirror ball trophy. Representing for the country music scene, Kellie Pickler and Bobby Bones have each come away with the top prize for their respective seasons. Lauren Alaina and Jana Kramer each came close, both finishing in fourth place in the competition that pairs celebrities with ballroom dance professionals to dance for America’s votes.

Jimmie Allen and his partner, Emma Slater, kicked off this season last week with a Tango to “The Way I Are” by Timbaland featuring Keri Hilson. This past Monday, September 27th, the pair took the floor again with a Rumba, but this time featuring a very special backing track; Allen’s own “Make Me Want To”. The judges praised both the song and the dance, and the scores from the panels combined with Americas votes were enough to put the “Freedom was a Highway” singer through to the next round. Fans can vote for Allen and other celebrity favorites when Dancing With The Stars airs Mondays at 8PM ET on ABC.

Ashley Cooke Collaborates with Jimmie Allen on New Song “Good Goodbye”

Ashley Cooke and Jimmie Allen’s new song “Good Goodbye,” is available now, August 6th, on all streaming platforms. Take a look below as we dig a little deeper into the new song.

Ashley Cooke is becoming a more and more well-known name in country music. A little over a year after going viral on TikTok, the 24-year-old is gaining serious traction in the music industry. With five singles, each one better than the last, and an upcoming album, all released in less than a year, Cooke is keeping busy and gaining more and more fans as she goes.

Ashley Cooke’s latest release “Good Goodbye” features Jimmie Allen and marks the last single to be released ahead of her forthcoming full-length debut album, Already Drank That Beer, due out August 27th. The eight-track project will include previously released tracks like “Sunday Morning Kinda Saturday Night”, “Jealous of the Sky”, “Under” and the title track, as well as four brand new songs.

“Good Goodbye” is a beautiful collaboration that showcases the extraordinary vocals of both Cooke and Allen. Written by Cooke and Blake Pendergrass, tells the story of two people pulling away from a relationship that they know is near the end. It touches on the mixed emotions that are felt while trying to soak up your last moments together, but knowing that it’s already over.

On how this duet came about, Cooke shares, “We originally recorded ‘Good Goodbye’ as an individual song with just my voice on it, but something felt missing to give the song the depth it deserves.” She adds, “I knew Jimmie would be the perfect addition and I’m just honored to get to collaborate with such an unbelievably talented artist. His tone, harmonies, riffs, storytelling, etc. adds so much to the song and I’m so proud to be releasing this with him.”

“If we ain’t gonna make it baby // whatcha say we make it a good, goodbye // love me for the last time // wrap me in your arms, like we never grew apart // come and kiss my lips, take me back to when // you were all my heart was chasing // If we’re gonna say it, make it a good, goodbye”
