Russell Dickerson Continues to Break Records with “Love You Like I Used To”
Russell Dickerson continues to break records with his hit song, “Love You Like I Used To,” as it is currently tied as the longest-running top ten single in radio history.
One of our all-time favorite artists, future entertainer of the year, and our actual “day one,” Russell Dickerson, continues to shatter the glass ceiling in his career. Back in November, we shared the news that Dickerson’s song “Love You Like I Used To” marked his fourth consecutive #1 single. Now, we can rejoice again as that same song has officially tied “Amazed” by Lonestar as the longest-running top ten single in radio history! Dickerson took to Instagram to reveal the exciting news and shared a mash-up of the two record-breaking songs.
In just a few short years, Dickerson has accomplished a monumental feat. His first four songs to country radio reached the top spot on the charts, and his latest single, “Home Sweet” just broke the Top 50, impacting country radio just in January! Dickerson trails only Luke Combs’ with consecutive hits right from their debut. Furthermore, if “Love You Like I Used To” stays in the top ten, it will officially stand on its own as the longest-running top ten single in history.
With only two albums under his belt, Dickerson is truly just at the beginning of his long and promising career in country music. He continues to be one of the most talented and humble singer-songwriters in the genre, and it is only a matter of time until he is surely a household name.
We cannot wait to continue to root for more success for the singer-songwriter and predict that one day he will be accepting an honor as Entertainer of the Year.
Congratulations to Russell and his team on this awesome accomplishment!
