As always, Luke Combs knows exactly what his fans want…more new music. His sophomore album is slated for release on November 8th but yesterday comes posted on Facebook: “New album isn’t out until Nov. 8, but if this post gets 50K likes, I’ll release the studio version of “1, 2 Many” everywhere THIS Thursday, Sep. 12 at 2 PM ET!”
The honky-tonk inspired drinking song is classic Combs, bringing traditional country music into the modern era. You can already see this one being performed for throngs of fans, all holding up their drinks and shotgunning beers at tailgates. The track was penned by Combs along with Dan Isbell, Drew Parker, and Tyler King and on the studio recorded version, features none other than Brooks & Dunn. Combs first worked with the duo when he was featured on their REBOOT album on “Brand New Man” and he even performed the song on CMT Crossroads live from Nashville during CMAFest.
Ronnie and Kix join the superstar in the last verse, their signature twang finishing out the tune with their old-school flair.
In addition to the new music, Combs surprised fans even further by revealing the title and cover art to his forthcoming sophomore album. Check out all of the details here.
“1, 2 Many” is now available everywhere you buy or stream music. Take a listen below and check out more new recently released music here on our ‘New Country Music’ playlist.
