Lainey Wilson shares her rendition of The Rolling Stones’ classic hit song, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”, out now. Listen here…
In honor of the 60th Anniversary of The Rolling Stones, country music is celebrating with a tribute album called Stoned Cold Country. Country artists celebrate the legacy of The Rolling Stones through fourteen distinct covers of some of their greatest hits. Last year, Brothers Osborne and The War and Treaty gave their best rendition of the classic, “It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It) and Elvie Shane shared his rendition of “Sympathy For The Devil.” Today, Country superstar Lainey Wilson lends her voice to the iconic classic, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”
One of the more popular songs in The Rolling Stones’ impressive catalog, Wilson gives the song the spotlight and the sass that it deserves. Her rendition is spot-on vocally and will appeal to fans both in and out of the genre.
Fans can expect the full-length album, Stoned Cold Country, coming later this year. The record will feature even more iconic covers from some of your favorite artists like Zac Brown Band, Elle King, Brooks & Dunn, Ashley McBryde, and more. We look forward to hearing more tunes this year, and of course, more unexpected collaborations.
