Elvie Shane Heats Up Rolling Stones Classic on ‘Stone Cold Country’

Elvie Shane covers The Rolling Stones classic hit, “Sympathy For The Devil” out today on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand-new track below.

In honor of the 60th Anniversary of The Rolling Stones, country music is celebrating with a tribute album called Stoned Cold Country. Country artists celebrate the legacy of The Rolling Stones through fourteen distinct covers of some of their greatest hits. Last year, Brothers Osborne and The War and Treaty gave their best rendition of the classic, “It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It).” Today, rising artist, Elvie Shane shares his version of “Sympathy For The Devil.”

The iconic track gets a countrified flair with Shane’s inviting twang. Keeping with the rock tone, the song is transformed into a country-rock anthem. With deep lyrics and an even cooler instrumental, Shane’s rendition of “Sympathy For The Devil” is one of the coolest cross-genre covers to date.

Fans can expect the full-length album, Stoned Cold Country, coming later this year. The record will feature even more iconic covers from some of your favorite artists like Zac Brown Band, Elle King, Brooks & Dunn, Ashley McBryde, and more. We look forward to hearing more tunes this year, and of course, more unexpected collaborations.
