Kasey Tyndall Releases Poignant New Single, “Middle Man”
Kasey Tyndall just released an honest and emotive new song titled “Middle Man” which reflects on growing up with divorced parents. Available now, May 21st, on all streaming platforms, take a look below as we dig a little deeper into the new song.
There are few things we love more than a badass female in country music! Singer-songwriter Kasey Tyndall fits the bill. A long-time Nashville artist, performing with the all-female group the Song Suffragettes and writing with prolific songwriters in the industry, Tyndall has finally been given her chance to shine. Today the singer released a brand new song, “Middle Man.”
Written with fellow country music badass and singer-songwriter, Lainey Wilson, “Middle Man” is a true experience about growing up with divorced parents. Although not intended to be a sad song about divorce, there are definitely elements of the song that will feel a bit tender for those who have experienced the heartbreak of a parent’s split. According to Tyndall though, she hopes it reminds listeners that you are influenced by where you come from regardless of what your family dynamics look like.
“I was too young to understand // I was a little girl // And the middle man // I got a taste of rock n roll // Swear I learned to talk to Jesus // And I made best friends with the road // I got real good // I got real good at leaving”
We appreciate the songstress’ grit, honesty, and integrity that are so evident on this track. “Middle Man” is one of those songs that everyone will tip their hats to, mainly for its pure honesty. Of course, Tyndall’s voice also shines, showcasing her vulnerability at the same time. She is definitely one to look out for!
