2026 is bringing a new era of music for singer-songwriter, HunterGirl. She is firmly planting her boots and digging in her heels, creating music that truly is her sound. Today, she releases one of her best songs to date. “Somewhere Wild” is officially out now.
Written by the songstress with Jeff Garrison and Bob DiPiero, “Somewhere Wild” embodies grit, nostalgia, and coming back home to yourself all in one song. According to HunterGirl, the song needed to be written. ‘Somewhere Wild’ was a song that just fell out in the writing room. It was exactly where my heart was at the beginning of this year,” she shared, adding, “When I was little, my Grandpa had a place by the creek he called The Wilderness. He made it magical. You had to say The Wilderness three times before running through the woods with my sister and cousins, and for a moment it felt like anything could happen.”
