HARDY goes number one at country radio this week with his song, “TRUCK BED.” Learn all the details here and listen to the song below!
HARDY is an absolute superstar in every sense of the word. He has earned many number one singles at country radio as a writer, and now the singer-songwriter is adding a third number one to the mix as a solo artist, not including his two number ones at Rock radio. This week, HARDY’s country-rock song, “TRUCK BED” officially hit the top spot on the country charts.
“TRUCK BED,” off of the singer’s sophomore record, the mockingbird & THE CROW was a standout for day one. The song samples a lyric from HARDY’s fan-favorite song, “BOOTS,” and speaks to the singer’s talent as both a rockstar and a country music mainstay.
“Yeah, she meant business this time // I can’t believe my bloodshot eyes // I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this morning // With a bone dry bottle of Jack I was pouring // Damn, she got some nerve, when she kicked me to the curb // Guess you can say I got what I deserve // ‘Cause I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this morning, yeah”
Congratulations to HARDY and his team on landing another number one song at country radio! HARDY’s talent truly knows no limits, and we are here for anything HARDY puts out, country or otherwise.
