She continues to release honest and relatable music that speaks to her life experiences, as well as, her ability to craft a depth full song. Today, Ellis joins forces with her husband, fellow singer-songwriter, Nick Wayne on a brand new song. “Waiting To Die” is out now.
On the new heartfelt ballad, Ellis and Wayne reflect on what life would look like without love. Ellis sings about how a life without the love her life would be worthless and empty. “Waiting To Die” also boasts a mention of the great love story of of Johnny and June and reflects on how life is hardly worth living without the other in it. Both Ellis and Wayne show off how gifted they are as vocalistic and storytellers.
“Waiting To Die” is a touching new song, meant for anyone who has a love that transcends this lifetime.
