Tyler Hubbard Releases New Song “Way Home” Out Now

Tyler Hubbard releases his brand new song, “Way Home” out now, July 15th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the new track below.

Tyler Hubbard has been rapidly releasing new music to begin his solo career. His debut song, “5 Foot 9,” was released in late May and is already inside the top 25 on country radio. He followed that single with another upbeat track “35’s”.

“Way Home” is a coming-of-age story for Hubbard, who admits the wrong turns he’s made due to his reckless lifestyle, but after reconnecting with his faith, he decides to rely on Jesus to guide him home, or heaven in this case. Hubbard penned the lyrics with his good friends Corey Crowder and Canaan Smith.

“Yeah, I got lost (Yeah, I got lost) // Until I got found (Until I got found) // Oh, and now that it’s well with my soul // I just ride in the seat next to Jesus // ‘Cause I know He knows the way home”

So far, both Hubbard and former bandmate, Brian Kelley have grown apart from their Florida Georgia Line’s signature sound. Hubbard has touched on religion in the past, featuring on four tracks on the Chris Tomlin and Friends collaborative album.

Starting in September, Hubbard will join Ingrid Andress and Keith Urban on his Speed of Now tour. For tickets, head to his website.

Zach Bryan: ‘Summertime Blues’ – EP Review

Zach Bryan releases his new EP, Summertime Blues, out now, July 15th on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new project below and check out our full review.

Zach Bryan is taking the country music world by storm. Just two months ago, the singer-songwriter released his debut album, filled with 34 songs. One would think that Bryan is done cranking out music for right now, but that’s wrong! The singer is back with a brand new project entitled Summertime Blues, showcasing that he was made to do this.

Although referenced as an EP, the project has nine songs for music lovers to enjoy, all written by Bryan. Beginning with “Quittin’ Time,” Bryan leans into his traditional country sound. The folky tune has both an enticing sound and foot-stomping melody. The same mood is evident on his song, “Us Then,” which comes later on in the project. On “Motorcycle Drive By,” the singer professes all the emotions associated with being a country boy.

“It’s a motorocycle drive-by, baby drive your kind eyes // I think it’s about time we headed home // Walking on such tight ripe, with my damn high hopes, // Country boys don’t die alone // Reading poetry under shade trees // That woman she’s my baby, and I will be in Richmond by tonight”

The folk-heavy sound continues on the title track, arguably one of the best on the project. On “Summertime Blues,” Bryan’s emotive, yet impactful voice shines. The honesty that this song evokes is unparalleled. The song will take country lovers to a new dimension, but we believe that fans of artists like Mumford and Sons will also resonate with this one-of-a-kind track.

Bryan continues to showcase his talent on the next two tracks, “Oklahoma Smoke Show,” and “Jamie.” On the former, Bryan tells the story of a girl, who is just trying to live her life; despite hardship. The song is storytelling at its finest. If “Oklahoma Smoke Show’ is a story of a lost girl, “Jamie” is the sequel. The six-verse song appears to continue the story of a girl, who is just trying to figure it out and a man who misses her. Listen to the story unfold through each meaningful verse and supportive chorus.

Next up, “Twenty So” is a quiet masterpiece on the already impressive project. Written by Bryan, the track reads as a journal entry. Leaning on his faith and his experience in the military, the singer has clearly thought a lot about the meaning of life.

“When the day is done // And those neon lights call you home // You’ll be begging for a savior // To let you savor, // The saved times of Twenty-So // When the night is through // And those American girls are headed home // You’ll be begging of your savior // To let you save her, / From the sweet nights of Twenty-So”

On “Matt and Audie,” Bryan tells another heartfelt story. The story, about a couple, seems to be the country version of Bonnie and Clyde. Despite the impact the story has, Bryan returns to a pensive song on the final track of the project. “All The Time” is a love song and heartbreak song all mixed together. Another one of our favorites, the song showcases the singer in the best life.

Overall, Summertime Blues EP is another incredible project by Bryan. There is no one quite like him in the genre, and that’s a good thing! If you have not yet listened to Bryan, now is the time!

Zac Brown Band Collabs with Cody Johnson on “Wild Palomino”

Zac Brown Band collabs with Cody Johnson on new song, “Wild Palomino,” out now, July 15th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the new track below.

Zac Brown Band is shaking up their latest album by featuring other stars in the genre on songs like The Comeback and more. Last month, Blake Shelton joined the GRAMMY-winning group on “Out in the Middle,” and today, Cody Johnson provides his vocals on the western-themed track “Wild Palomino.”

Written by Brown, Benjamin Simonetti, Jonathan Singleton, and Wyatt Durrette, the two sing about a girl who was always difficult to hold on to, comparing her to the untamed horse. Even Johnson, who was a former rodeo contestant, could not reign her in. Even though she left long ago, the protagonist still longs for her love.

Brown remains the singer on the second verse, while Johnson takes the first, changing the mention of an “old Georgia pine” to an “East Texas pine.” The two start by alternating lines in the chorus to then harmonizing them, creating a beautiful, mellow sound that makes the listener really sympathize with this sad cowboy.

“You can’t put reigns on a wild palomino // And you won’t make a rolling stone stay // Long as God’s still at church and hard work still works // And that collar on my shirt’s still blue // I’ll never stop loving you”

The two artists have several shows together this summer including today at the iconic Fenway Park in Boston and CitiField in Queens, New York. For tickets, head to their website.

Last month, Zac Brown Band announced plans of a deluxe version of The Comeback due out in the fall. The album will have six new tracks including the revamped “Out in the Middle” and “Wild Palomino,” and it is safe to presume the other four will also be songs from The Comeback featuring other country stars.

Lily Rose Releases Brand New Song “In My Drinks”

Lily Rose’s brand new song, “In My Drinks” is out now, July 15th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

Rose returns with new music after just releasing her latest Joey Moi-produced track “I’d Be You” last month. “In My Drinks” is unique because there are plenty of country songs that feature the singer at a bar trying to forget an ex, but in this tune, Rose drinks to remember. She misses her former lover and relives the memories with her through beer and bourbon. Rose sticks with her signature country/hip-hop blended sound, with Jamie Davis, Jordan Gray, and Rob Pennington penning the lyrics.

“I only see her in my drinks, in between the bourbon and beer // As long as I’m still buzzing, she’s sitting right here // ‘Cause it’s clear when I’m sober, that it’s over with the girl of my dreams // Now I only see her in my drinks”

Rose will play many country festivals this summer and finish opening up for Sam Hunt on tour. She will also open several shows for Sam Hunt including ones at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and the Long Island Community Hospital Amphitheater on August 19 and 21, respectively. Come fall, she will join Dylan Scott on his Amen To That Tour. Head to her website for tickets.

James Barker Band Releases New Song “Rain All Summer”

James Barker Band drops brand new song, “Rain All Summer” out now, July 15th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the new song below.

James Barker Band is a country act that country music and its fans need to pay attention to. The singers have quietly grown their fanbase over the last few years. Recently, they collaborated with superstar Dierks Bentley on a track, “New Old Trucks”. Today, they are releasing another brand new song called, “Rain All Summer.”

The new tune is not what you might expect at first. While summer songs are usually full of nostalgia, sunshine, perfect weather, and kicking back, James Barker Band gives u something new and refreshing. Leaning into the romance and sensuality of a summer rain, JBB paints a picture of their new track. “Rain All Summer” is about getting caught up in bed and locked inside during a rainstorm with your lover. The imperfect weather still brought a perfect day.

“Baby it can rain all summer // On the roof of this house, all night, all day // All over each other // Don’t waste one drop girl, drop them shades // Who cares if the sun ain’t shining, let it storm, let it pour I don’t mind // If it keeps you and me tangled up in these sheets we’re under // Baby, it can rain all summer”

James Barker Band knows how to craft a great country song. Their lyrics are enticing. “Rain All Summer” is just another example of that.

Josh Ross is a new rising artist that we are loving. Back in February, we fell in love with his single, “First Taste of Gone,” and we have been following him ever since. Most recently, Ross released a brand new song called “On A Different Night.”

Written by Ross with Grad Block and Mason Thornley, the new single is nostalgic, heartbreaking, and relatable. The mid-tempo song focuses on a man who is having a hard time getting over his ex-lover. It paints the picture of what it’s like being out, but not really being in the mood to drink and have fun.

“I’d be looking like a rockstar, walking into this bar // Finding me a new pair of blue eyes // I’d be on the way to one more, tearing off the dance floor // Trying to get you off my mind // But all the boys they wanna party // Girls who drink Barcardi gonna have to call me a different time // ‘Cause part of me is still sitting with you in the back corner booth // On a different night”

Ross has showcased so many sides of his personality through his music. With each and every release, he proves that he can express any emotion through lyrics. We cannot wait to see what a full-length project looks like from this impressive singer-songwriter.

Walker Hayes’ new track “Y’all Life” is out now, July 15th on all streaming platforms. Learn more about the new track below.

This is Walker Hayes’ year and country fans agree. He continues to deliver anthem after anthem (“AA” and “Fancy Like”). Most recently, Hayes shared a new southern-rock anthem, after teasing the song on social media. “Y’all Life” and the accompanying music video is officially here.

The nostalgic song features country roots and hip-hop lyrics. Hayes’ distinct musical style is on full display on the track. If you listen carefully, you will even hear an adjusted sample of Nelly’s “Country Grammar” midway through the chorus. The music video even features some of the Alabama Crimson Tide players in the fun-loving visuals.

“Y’all, them nursing homes still rattling with some Dolly Parton // And them high school kids traveling like James Harden // In them white limousines to the Olive Garden // On prom night, it’s good times, right // We be livin’ that y’all life, y’all”

Here Is Alana Springsteen’s New EP: ‘History of Breaking Up (Part 2)’

Alana Springsteen new EP, History of Breaking Up (Part 2) is out now, July 15th on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new project below.

The sequel to Alana Springsteen’s beautiful EP, History of Breaking Up (Part 1) is here. The songstress’ new project, History of Breaking Up (Part 2) features eight songs that showcase the singer-songwriter’s undeniable talent and vocal ability. Each song on the project is just as good as the next.

We agree with Springsteen that Part 2 is even better than Part 1, which is hard to believe. “When I look back on where I was as I was writing the songs for HISTORY OF BREAKING UP (PART ONE) and then look at where I am now, it’s all a little surreal,” Springsteen shares in a recent press release. “This project started out as a way for me to find some peace and healing through the heartbreak, but it’s given me so much more: I’ve found a community of the most amazing fans who’ve helped me — and each other — to feel a little less alone. If PART ONE set the bar for me, I truly believe PART TWO raises it.”

Who Is Tyler Dial? The Story Behind His Journey to Country Music

Who is Tyler Dial? The singer-songwriter joined us to chat about his journey to country music. Get to know the rising star here…

who-is-tyler-dial

Quick Facts:

Full Name – Tyler Dial

Birthday – October 20th, 1995

Hometown – Arizona

Musical Influences – John Mayer, Keith Urban, Sam Hunt

The Beginning:

In this week’s feature, we are sharing about an artist that we are loving lately, Tyler Dial. Recently, the singer-songwriter put out his latest EP, Way Back When, and we were immediately hooked. Now, we get to share his story with you all.

Dial grew up listening to country music in Arizona. Thanks in part to his dad’s career, a concert promoter, the singer often attended concerts as a kid and was always in rooms where guitars were readily available. “Country music was prominent in my life, but all my friends growing up and stuff were listening to rap and pop and stuff, so I felt a little bit like an outsider,” shared the singer. Adding later, “My dad is from Texas, so I learned a lot about country music from him.”

Thanks to his father, Dial grew up loving artists like George Strait, Garth Brooks, and James Taylor; however, it was country radio that really excited him personally. “On country radio, when I first started thinking about doing music, it was people like Keith Urban and John Mayer, who really influenced me early on,” shared the singer.

Dial added later, “And seeing people like Taylor Swift and Sam Hunt, Maren Morris, coming up – I was the guy who loved finding new country artists before they broke and burning my friends CDs of their songs. I was kind of obsessed with finding new country artists, while I was trying to be one myself.”

The Turning Point:

Dial took his love of music to the south, where he attended the University of Texas. “I went to UT and I had a few offers to play soccer in college, but I really just saw it as an opportunity to do music full-time.”

While attending school, the singer learned about the bustling Texas-country music scene, as well as, more about the industry as a whole. “I have this country radio background, but also [this] inspiration of living in Texas for four years and playing in Austin pretty much every weekend, and playing in that scene down there.”

While in college, Dial still set his sights on Nashville. “I lived in Nashville, pretty much every summer of college, and interned at studios and management companies, kind of as an excuse to be out here and started writing songs.”

Upon graduation, Dial officially made the move to Music City, even convincing his college band to make the move with him.

Today:

Flash forward to today, Dial is continuously cutting his teeth in Nashville as both a singer and a songwriter. “I’ve been living in Nashville for the last four years and am working on an album,” shared the singer. “We’re finally putting music out in the world again […] It’s been fun, it’s been a dream come true.”

Most recently, Dial released his Way Back When EP. The project has six incredible songs that really showcase his artistry and his spirit as a person and as an artist. “These six songs are kind of some of the older ones that I have been sitting on for the longest time. I think it’s important to show my growth as an artist […] These are the songs that moved the needle for me behind the scenes,” shared Dial.

Songs like, “Left of Center” sum up exactly who Dial is and what he has to say, while the title track bods wells a classic, nostalgic, radio type of song. The EP truly has something for everyone.

This is only the beginning for Dial. He is planning on getting out on the road more this year and has more new music on the horizon. A new project, possibly an album is already in the works. Keep your eyes and ears open!
