TODAY Show Reveals Citi Summer Concert Series Lineup…

The ‘Today’ Show announced its 2017 Summer Citi Concert Series lineup, which includes some of country music’s hottest acts playing live in New York City.

Each concert takes place outside of the NBC Today Show Studios on 49th Street & Rockefeller Plaza. The series kicks off with Harry Styles on Tuesday, May 9th.

The party continues all summer long with all-star acts including country music’s Zac Brown Band, Thomas Rhett, Shania Twain, Chris Stapleton, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Faith Hill & Tim McGraw.

All shows (except when noted) will be broadcast Friday mornings on the Today show.  Fans looking to see the concerts in person should go to 49th Street and Rockefeller Plaza by 6am ET for the best spots.  Viewing is provided on a first-come, first-served basis outside Today’s window-on-the-world studio.

RaeLynn Rocks Nash FM 94.7’s Stage 17…

Thursday, April 27th, Country songstress, RaeLynn, visited the Nash FM 94.7 Studio 17 for a special performance.

RaeLynn opened the intimate set with “WildHorse,” the title track from her new album. She followed up with breakthrough single, “God Made Girls,” and ended with “Love Triangle,” lead single off of WildHorse.

RaeLynn’s sweet-toned vocals and bubbly personality easily captivated the attention of the room during this special set. Check Out a Video from her performance of “Love Triangle” below.

 

 

Upon a brief Q & A with Nash FM’s, Katie Neal, RaeLynn discusses how important her fans are to her, tips she’s learned from mentor, Blake Shelton, and just how lucky she feels to have her debut album go Number 1. When speaking about her songs and the new album, WildHorse, RaeLynn explains that the whole process on co-writing the songs was a very therapeutic process for her. Each song touches on many personal experiences including her parents divorce, told from a child’s perspective in “Love Triangle.”

Did Somebody Say Tailgate Season?

Aside from the four seasons that make up our calendar year, we all know there are a few special times to be excited about – Wedding Season… Baseball Season… Pumpkin Spice Latte Season… and the best of all: Tailgate Season.

In anticipation of the most wonderful time of the year, we’re counting down the Top 5 Reasons Why Tailgate Season is the Best Season.

5. THE OUTDOORS –

We’ve crammed into indoor venues all winter long. Pre-games consisted of huddling into the closest local bar, so you didn’t freeze on the way to the venue. Flip-Cup, Beer Pong or any type of pre-show ritual is pretty much nonexistent in the wintertime. Tailgate Season means we are FREE to the great outdoors. Spilled some beer on the ground? Don’t worry about it. Tailgate season gives you the ability to create the largest, wildest party before seeing your favorite artists under the stars, literally.

4. THE ATMOSPHERE –

Drinking Games, Good Music, Sunshine, Positive Vibes. We dare you not to have a good time. Impossible.

3. FRIENDS, FRIENDS, FRIENDS –

Tailgate Season gives you a solid excuse to roll deep with 20 or so of your closest friends. Chances are each friend knows someone at the show, who knows someone at the show, who knows someone at the show and the next thing you know – You’re in the middle of a huge parking lot party, surrounded by a bunch of friends of friends with your favorite music, cold drinks and good vibes.

2. THE DRINKS –

Is there a need to explain this one? There was never a better reason to chug a beer for breakfast other than Tailgate Season.

1. THE LINE-UP –

The most important factor in any good tailgate is the line-up. Bumping your favorite artists’ music all day before seeing them live on stage under the sun, COME ON… Nothing. Better.

Friday Morning, April 21st, Brad Paisley performed “Today,”  the first single from his new album, Love and War, on Good Morning America live from NYC.

Love and War, Paisley’s 11th studio album dropped on Friday and features collaborations with Mick Jagger, John Fogerty and Timbaland. The lead single, “Today,” marks Paisley’s 24th #1 song.
