Bailey Zimmerman Earns Number One at Country Radio with “Chevy Silverado”
Bailey Zimmerman goes number one at country radio this week with his single “Chevy Silverado.” Learn all the details here.
In his blossoming career, Bailey Zimmerman is quickly catapulting to the top. Zimmerman has landed multiple consecutive back to back number one singles at country radio, including his first number on, “Fall In Love” and follow up single, “Rock And A Hard Place.” He also found himself at the top of the charts again his collaboration with Luke Combs, “Backup Plan.” Today, Zimmerman scores his latest number one hit with “Chevy Silverado.”
“Chevy Silverado” was inspired by the first truck the singer-songwriter ever owned, a 2005 white Chevy Silverado that he bought from his grandpa when he was 16 years old for $9,800. The track marked the third single off his album Different Night Same Rodeo. The track is an instant ear worm, and truly speaks to Zimmerman’s talent as an artist.
“Help me out, tell me how’d your heart get so cold? // Tell me when did our young love get so old? // Went from holdin’ on tight to lettin’ me go // I said I loved you, and I wish you never said it back // Take the sun-bleached Polaroid off my dash // I ain’t got the girl in it, but I still have // This white Chevy Silverado // And it’ll drive all night to get to you tomorrow”
Congratulations to Zimmerman and his team on their accomplishment. We are excited to see his streak of number ones continue to grow.
