Ashley Cooke has been a staple in the country music industry since bursting on the scene a few years ago. Since 2020, Cooke has shared her heart with fans, all while garnering a ton of well-earned accolades. Today, the singer-songwriter releases her sophomore album, a self-titled project featuring fifteen songs, including, “baby blues” and “johnny ‘n june.”

According to Cooke, this record is as personal as ever. “This record feels like a coming-of-age record disguised as a relationship album. I wrote a lot of it dead in the middle of real-life situations where I learned quite a bit about myself, so you’re getting the real, unpolished, recently-realized-truths in 15 tracks,”she shared in a recent press release. “It’s messy, self-reflective, indecisive, filled with honesty, double entendres and emotional duality (I’m a Gemini, duh). Overall, it’s my perception of love and allllll the chaos it entails.”
