There is nothing like cross-genre collaborations between a country artist and another superstar in another genre. We have said it time and time again, each collaboration seems to be better than the next. Today, rising artist, Alana Springsteen joins forces with platinum-selling superstar, Tiesto on their brand new song “Hot Honey.”
Tiesto is known for being a top-notch DJ and producer, while Springsteen is known for her crafty lyrics and catchy instrumentals. “Honey Honey” showcases both of their talents in a way that feels cool, innovative, and different. Tiesto provides the infectious beat, while Springteen’s voice pierces through on every single lyric, sucking the listener into the song from the first word.

“A few months ago the one and only @tiesto reached out to see if i’d want to collaborate with him on his next single. i was deep into the process of writing and recording my next album and was determined to save all my energy and focus for that (bc just wait…). but everything about the song he sent me and the vision he had for it intrigued me. i knew it’d push me out of my comfort zone, challenge me and ultimately make me a better creative human. so i said yes. everything from the phrasing, to the studio, to the way we approached the vocal, the music video (omg the music video) has been bold. it’s been different. and i’ve felt brave for going there,” shared the singer on her Instagram.
While the collaboration may have been unexpected, it certainly works! Springsteen shared that she couldn’t pass up the opportunity, and we are glad she didn’t!
