[Watch] Hunter Hayes Releases Video for “Heartbreak”
Everyone we have a Storm Warning! Hunter Hayes just released his newest single “Heartbreak” and a creative music video to go along with it. The song already has a ton of buzz around it and gives a new take on a love song. While Hayes has sung about love in the past, you can tell the few years he took off from releasing music helped him create one of the best songs yet.
Directed by Colin Duffy, Hayes optimistically relives the day over and over again trying to get to his true love. From dodging a construction site, getting coffee spilled on his shirt, and being late to his date, Hayes gets one step closer each time. It contains a positive message, one of encouragement about the unpredictability of his future in a romance.
The five-time Grammy nominated artist announced his headlining Closer To You tour, with opener Levi Hummon, and tickets went on sale February 15th. If you want exclusive access, members of his mailing list can purchase tickets before anyone else and get a heads up on new music and more! (join here).
The 20-date run will start on April 18 in Atlanta and will finish in June in Cincinnati, making stops all over the country in between.
The Louisiana native has achieved over 1 billion on-demand career streams globally and three chart-topping singles, including his 5x multi-platinum crossover single “Wanted”. Each song Hayes releases gets widely acclaimed and it is no surprise that “Heartbreak” is doing just that.
