Since going independent, Troy Cartwright has been cranking out music that feel authentic to his true sound and style in country music. His previous releases like “Over You By Now” and “How Smart I Am” were incredible additions to his catalog. Now, the singer-songwriter is releasing another song called, “Get Out Of This Town.”

Written by Cartwright with Seth Alley, Brendan Cooney, and James McNair, “Get Out Of This Town” recounts painful memories, as you try to move on. Throughout the song, Cartwright is putting as many miles as he can between him and the heartache he is trying to leave behind. While the singer is happily married, he manages to tap into the pain and emotions that are all too relatable, when going through heartbreak.
