Just days after the release of his American debut album, Things That We Drink To, Aussie-born singer-songwriter, Morgan Evans, made his morning television debut on NBC’s Today Show. He took the stage during the 10 am hour with co-anchors, Kathie Lee and Hoda, performing his irresistible hit and first number one single, “Kiss Somebody.”

Before performing his romantic chart-topper, Kathie Lee and Hoda, came to the stage to introduce and talk to the singer-songwriter. When chatting about all the great things he has going on in his life, Hoda asked, “How does it feel to be in your shoes at this moment?” Evans replied, “It feels awesome you know, I feel like I’ve been doing this for so long that I’m in a great place to really appreciate all the cool things that are happening at the moment, I’ve been writing about it and singing them.”

After the brief interview, it was the moment viewers at home had been waiting for. Staying true to himself, Evans performed his first single in his signature style with only two guitars and a loop pedal, captivating his audience at home and of course Kathie Lee and Hoda. The co-anchors were seen swaying in place, enjoying every second of the private in-studio performance. At the end of the song, they came back on stage clapping and cheering his name, making it a moment to never forget.  Check out the full performance here.

New Yorkers, can catch Morgan Evans on the ‘Losing Sleep Tour’ with Chris Young and Dan + Shay December 7th at Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum.

It’s a big week for Stoney Creek Records recording artist and our 2018 Artist to Watch, Jimmie Allen, as we anticipate the release of his first full-length album Mercury Lane debuting this Friday (Check back for our First Impression Review then). Currently, seven of the tracks are available instantly with pre-orders. As the singer-songwriter continues to promote his record, he hit another milestone, making his national television debut on NBC’s TODAY with Kathie Lee & Hoda.  For the full performance click here.

The singer received credit for his talent, as the talk show hosts introduced him, “He is one of the hottest acts in country music right now, he is making his national TV debut!” “Jimmie’s first single “Best Shot” is climbing up the country radio chart by the minute,” said special guest John Cena. Quickly, prior to his performance, Allen shared “It took about 10 years to get my first record deal and you figure all that hard work that I put in before now, is paying off. It feels great.”

Allen performed his charted top 10 and rising single, “Best Shot,” which has earned the artist multiple accolades. The track has been streamed by fans over 46 million times, as well as, being recognized as the #1 Most Shazamed song in country music. We first heard the song almost a year ago when Allen joined the New York Country Swag team for a live Swag Session.  Check out that performance below.

The hardworking, rising country star heads to the United Kingdom, following the release of Mercury Lane, on Chase Rice’s the Lambs & Lions UK tour for the rest of the month. In November, Allen will take his talents to tour with Scotty McCreery and again with Kane Brown. For more information visit www.JimmieAllenMusic.com.

Brett Eldredge and Edgar Boogie FaceTime with Kathie Lee & Hoda

Brett Eldredge with Edgar Boogie

Country superstar, Brett Eldredge made a special appearance on The Today Show via FaceTime this morning with his best bud, Edgar Boogie. Their appearance was originally scheduled for last week to celebrate National Dog Week, but was unexpectedly rescheduled. Just minutes before the quick interview, Eldredge took to his Instagram stories to tell everyone to tune in to Kathie Lee and Hoda’s segment. The duo did not make it into the famed New York City studio, but instead FaceTimed from the singer-songwriter’s Nashville home.

The appearance was all about the precious pup and his music video debut in the Edgar Cut of “Love Someone”. During the interview fans can see Edgar falling asleep on his dad’s arm, not at all phased about being on the morning show. They showed a snippet of the heart-warming music video, showcasing Edgar’s overall acting ability and incredible cuteness. After playing the clip, Kathie Lee jokingly added, “It’s a little unsettling, No I’m kidding!”

With Edgar dozing off, it was up to his dad to answer the questions, when Hoda asked, “What did Edgar like most about the dinner?” Eldredge responded, “The steak of course, I could not keep him off…Eventually he chilled out and he got steak and he was happy!” Before concluding the appearance, the country superstar said, “He did amazing the whole video, he’s a pro!”

It’s clear to see the love that The Today Show co-anchors have for Eldredge, before the FaceTime ended, Kathie Lee mentioned how he should be their co-host all the time, with Hoda instantly agreeing. Maybe the next time Eldredge comes to New York, we will see him co-hosting with the dynamic duo again.

New Yorkers, can catch Brett Eldredge on the recently announced Glow Live tour at the historic Beacon Theatre on December 11th.
