Kasey Tyndall Releases New Song “Bad For Me”

Kasey Tyndall shares brand new song, “Bad For Me,” out now, January 5th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the new track below.

Kasey Tyndall is the type of artist who is unapologetically herself. As she continues to build her catalog of music, each song seems to get better and better. She recently made her Ryman debut and opened for Ashley McBryde right here in New York City. Now, Tyndall is releasing a brand new song called “Bad For Me”, officially out now.

The new single is a clever, mid-tempo song that may be one of Tyndall’s best songs to date. “Bad For Me” is an honest account of being into a guy that society may deem the “bad guy.” Tyndall shares all the ways that she needs someone to match her energy, even if it is a little “bad” for her. The song is both tongue and cheek, while simultaneously as honest as songs come.

“If he don’t scare the hell out of me // If he ain’t been around seen some things // If he don’t bleed tattoos // If he don’t got a few loose screws // If his demons don’t haunt him a little // His favorite finger ain’t the one in the middle // If his heart ain’t kinda made of steal // Then my love will send him running for the hills // Cause I’m so messed up, I need someone, shakes me up, but makes me feel alive // If he ain’t a little bad for me, bad for me”

“Bad For Me” is one of our favorite songs from Tyndall so far. The song showcases her star power. We are excited for what else the songstress has coming down the pipeline in 2024.

The rising artists are known individually to be talented up-and-comers in the industry; however, together, they have created absolute magic. “Place For Me” is a touching new song about the afterlife for rednecks. All the cliches come out in the chorus like Chevys, deer stands, and granddaddy’s, but collectively, it just works.

“If rednecks gotta place up in Heaven // My first Chevys waiting on me // I can see it right now best seat in the house // Is a deer stand up a pine tree // If the Sunday crowd gets a little too loud // And grandaddy’s there you best believe // If redneck got a place up in Heaven // then there’s a place for me”

Throughout the song, Tyndall and Marlowe take turns singing, while also harmonizing together in some of the most magical moments of the track. “Place For Me” is sure to be a song that has fans wondering what’s to come for the respective artists.

Kasey Tyndall Shares Honest New Song “Babies”

Kasey Tyndall’s honest new song, “Babies” is out now, June 17th, on all streaming platforms. Learn more about the song and listen to the brand new track below.

Kasey Tyndall is a rising artist in the industry that we have been captivated by, since she dropped her single, “Jesus and Joan Jett.” Tyndall is an artist all her own. She creates music that speaks to her soul, but also is relatable to the listener. Most recently, the songstress releases her brand new song, “Babies.”

The new single, “Babies” is songwriting gold. Written by Tyndall, Smith Ahnquist, and Garry Garris, the single is a song about growing up. On the verses, the singer-songwriter tries to make sense of the timing of her life. It can be hard to see all your friends and family settling down, when you do not quite feel ready for that. It is an honest portrayal of the fact that everyone has different paths in life.

“I’ve been living like I’m never gonna be // Anything other than young // The thing about time it sure flies by // when you don’t wanna grow up // I don’t really think about // Trying to settle down // But its hard not not to lately // Cuz All my exes call me crazy // All my friends are having babies”

Tyndall’s vulnerability and honesty in this song is what makes her so attractive to her growing fanbase. She continues to release music that is true to her spirit and her musical compass. “Babies” is a great add to your music library.

Kasey Tyndall Releases New Song “Jesus and Joan Jett”

Kasey Tyndall’s highly anticipated new song, “Jesus and Joan Jett” is out now, February 11th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

Country-rock sensation, Kasey Tyndall is always unapologetically herself. We fell in love with the truth behind her song “Middle Man” back in May. Now, Tyndall is sharing more of her roots on her new song “Jesus and Joan Jett.”

The rocking song is a homage to one of the singer-songwriter’s idols, Joan Jett. Jett even heard the song and gave it her stamp of approval! The song is all about the dichotomy of being a “good” church goer and a lover of rock music. Tyndall finds a way to ride this duality in a refreshing and inspiring way.

“You can find me on the back pew after the front row // Got a bad reputation but I keep it on the down low // Got some black in my halo // A little misunderstood ’cause they don’t know // Washed in the blood and cleansed in the whiskey // Might even like me once you get me // Head bangin’, cross hangin’ down from my neck // I roll with Jesus and rock with Joan Jett”

Tyndall’s vocals shine on the track, but it is her songwriting that is top-notch. Fans have been waiting for this song for a while now, and it definitely did not disappoint.

Who Is Kasey Tyndall? The Story Behind Her Journey to Country Music

Who is Kasey Tyndall? The singer-songwriter joined us to chat about her journey to country music. Get to know the rising star here…

Kasey Tyndall

The Beginning:

There are few things we love more than supporting women in the music industry. Today, we get to share our lovely interview with the extremely talented Kasey Tyndall. The songstress may be a new name to country music fans, but she has staying power for years to come.

Tyndall grew up in North Carolina, the oldest child of divorced parents. Despite the split, the singer recalls having an incredible childhood and supportive family and extended family. She credits her mother and father for her early love of music. “Growing up, both of my parents listened to lots of music. I would ride in the car back and forth to their houses and my mama would listen to rock, and my daddy would listen to whatever was on country radio.”

Picking up the guitar at an early age, it could only be her access to music and divine intervention that cultivated her unique talent. “Music was kind of a calling for me. It just kind of happened. I felt like myself getting lost in song and music,” shared the singer. Tyndall was inspired by rock legends like Joan Jett and Pat Benatar and bluegrass/country singers like Alison Krauss and Miranda Lambert. Avril Lavigne and Brantley Gilbert are also two of her long-time favorites.

Currently, the singer finds inspiration amongst her fellow women in country music and newcomers on the scene. Artists like HARDY and her friends, Lainey Wilson, and Ashland Craft are some fellow singer-songwriters that she really enjoys right now. “I feel like some of the best music in a while has come out in the last couple of years, and it makes me super excited.”

The Turning Point:

Despite an early love for music and a natural gift, Tyndall never really considered playing music for a living. “I didn’t feel like it was an option as a career,” she tells us, “To chase being a country singer, that felt just so out of reach.” It was not until her friends convinced her to enter a local contest that she realized her potential.

A local radio station hosted a contest in Raleigh, North Carolina. The winner got to sing with superstar Keith Urban. Tyndall ultimately went on to win the contest and proved to herself that her dream could be a reality. This led Tyndall to finally make the decision to move to Nashville to pursue her dreams.

“After I won the contest, it was either move to Nashville or go to nursing school and I picked Nashville and I haven’t looked back since.”

Today:

Today, the singer finally feels like she has found her footing as an artist with her recent release, “Middle Man.” “Just seeing the reaction from the Nashville community and the fans, it’s like nothing I have experienced with my previous music that I have released,” shares Tyndall, as she reflects on the success of her newest single. “It’s the first time in my career that I’m like ‘wow’ this is who I am as an artist.”

Of course, “Middle Man” was not a song the singer had intended on writing. It happened organically, during a back-porch-hang with fellow singer-songwriter, Lainey Wilson. “We just got to talking about our families, and I happened to start talking about mine being divorced,” she begins, “and I was like it was great, I was the middle man because I was the oldest sibling and she goes ‘go get a guitar right now.’”

Although Tyndall shares she had a great experience growing up with divorced parents, she realizes not everyone does. “Like I said, I had a great experience with it, but I didn’t realize [at the time] all the lives that I was touching, hitting it on the head for others that didn’t have the best experience.”

The song was not supposed to be the next single, but Tyndall knew it had to be after seeing the reaction from fans at a writer’s round. The singer even credits God as a “co-writer,” due to how effortlessly the song unfolded on that fateful night with her friends.

As “Middle Man” continues to touch the hearts of music lovers everywhere, Tyndall shows no signs of slowing down. She will be heading on tour with Jamey Johnson and Whiskey Myers through the rest of this month. She also promises that new music is on the horizon for this Fall.

Kasey Tyndall Releases Poignant New Single, “Middle Man”

Kasey Tyndall just released an honest and emotive new song titled “Middle Man” which reflects on growing up with divorced parents. Available now, May 21st, on all streaming platforms, take a look below as we dig a little deeper into the new song.

There are few things we love more than a badass female in country music! Singer-songwriter Kasey Tyndall fits the bill. A long-time Nashville artist, performing with the all-female group the Song Suffragettes and writing with prolific songwriters in the industry, Tyndall has finally been given her chance to shine. Today the singer released a brand new song, “Middle Man.”

Written with fellow country music badass and singer-songwriter, Lainey Wilson, “Middle Man” is a true experience about growing up with divorced parents. Although not intended to be a sad song about divorce, there are definitely elements of the song that will feel a bit tender for those who have experienced the heartbreak of a parent’s split. According to Tyndall though, she hopes it reminds listeners that you are influenced by where you come from regardless of what your family dynamics look like.

“I was too young to understand // I was a little girl // And the middle man // I got a taste of rock n roll // Swear I learned to talk to Jesus // And I made best friends with the road // I got real good // I got real good at leaving”

We appreciate the songstress’ grit, honesty, and integrity that are so evident on this track. “Middle Man” is one of those songs that everyone will tip their hats to, mainly for its pure honesty. Of course, Tyndall’s voice also shines, showcasing her vulnerability at the same time. She is definitely one to look out for!
