[Watch] Kane Brown and EDM DJ Marshmello Perform on Good Morning America

Get your devices charged up because this morning’s Good Morning America performance is one you will want to watch over and over again. Kane Brown and Marshmello debuted a new single in late June titled “One Thing Right” and it has been garnering streams like crazy. This morning, August 30th, the two artists created a once in a lifetime experience for fans. With a live all-immersive virtual reality performance of their song “One Thing Right,” you can bet the attendees won’t forget. Download the Melody VR app which uses virtual reality to get fans closer than ever to the music they love, including this morning’s concert in Central Park!

“It is time for the grand finale of our summer concert series and we are here with none other than country music superstar Kane Brown and chart-topping electronic artist DJ Marshmello,” said co-hosts Sara Haines and Cecilia Vega. “Racking up more than 200 million streams worldwide, here is Kane Brown and Marshmello with their smash “One Thing Right.”

Kicking off the morning, Brown and Marshmello brought an undeniable energy to the stage and they were dancing all around and interacting with fans. Singing their new song together, the fans were fired up. The electric chart-topping artist showed off his guitar skills while the country star sang with his incredible voice. The crowd joined the duo in singing the chorus, “Baby, I got one thing, right Baby, I got one thing right, I got you.” Also adding “Happier” into the setlist and with Marshmello balloons bouncing around, smoke coming up from the stage, and a great upbeat song, it was the perfect way to close out the summer concert series. Brown then slowed it down with his touching #1 song “Homesick,” where he had fans swaying back and forth.

The ladies caught up with the duo and asked how it was working together considering they both come from such different genres, in which Brown responded, “Mello is awesome. Very humble, awesome guy, awesome music, his fans are awesome, so it’s just cool to be apart of everything he’s done.” To have such a unique collaboration was such a perfect way to end the summer, although you can still watch them both live in concert on their tours throughout the end of the year, rolling into 2020.

You can catch Kane Brown and all the magic on Jason Aldean’s Ride All Night Tour at Jones Beach on September 6th.

Jordan Davis Performs “Take It From Me” on Good Morning America

Here at NY Country Swag, we are always proud to see one of our NYCountry Swag’s 2018 Artists to Watch make another huge step in his or her career, and this morning was no different. After scoring yet another #1 song, Jordan Davis set off to New York City to make his Good Morning America debut.

While some people consider signing a record deal, scoring a number one song, or playing the Opry stage making it in the industry, for Davis’s grandma, its playing GMA. Even though he’s scored two No. 1 songs and scored several awards nominations this is the big step in her eyes. Davis said in a recent press release “To be honest with ya, in the eyes of my grandmother, I’ve officially made it. In her eyes, I’m on GMA, I might as well be in the Musicians Hall of Fame over here, you know?”

Kicking off his debut, he was introduced to the audience by host Ginger Zee, “Rising country star Jordan Davis. He was named Billboard’s Top New Country Artist of 2018 and here he is with his number one hit off the album Home State this is “Take It From Me.” Surrounded by blues, purples, and pinks, the lighting set the mood and upbeat feel of the song. The “Take It From Me” singer killed the performance with his raw vocals and guitar licks. Add flashing lights as a backdrop and Davis swaying back and forth and you get one phenomenal Good Morning America debut.

Davis is currently up for New Male Artist of the Year at the ACM Awards and after hitting it big at the iHeart Awards recently, he has a great shot at scoring another. He is currently on the road with Old Dominion as part of the Make It Sweet Tour with a few more upcoming stops before joining Rascal Flatts in July for the Summer Playlist Tour.

To keep up with Jordan Davis follow them on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

Live From Whiskey Row in Nashville Dierks Bentley on GMA

Dierks Bentley Good Morning America

In order to celebrate CMA Award day (tonight!), ABC’s Good Morning America brought their set to the rooftop of Dierks Bentley’s bar ‘Whiskey Row’ in Nashville. Country megastar, Dierks Bentley caught up with GMA correspondents, Lara Spencer and Adam Rippon, both before and after his sensational performance of his hit “Woman, Amen” and his beautiful song, “Living.”  Watch his performance by clicking here.

Baring the brisk temperature, Bentley and his band played the heartfelt jam, “Woman Amen” first, in front of an intimate crowd of fans, who gathered on the rooftop. Although he did not need an introduction, Spencer got the crowd pumped stating “Right now here’s Dierks with his number one hit “Woman, Amen” from his album The Mountain.

The iconic view of Broadway in Nashville acted as the perfect backdrop for the three-time CMA award winner’s performance. As the singer-songwriter entertained the audience, the camera panned to the fans who were all singing along to the beautiful lyrics. Bentley gave country music fans a taste of his highly anticipated performance at the CMA Award show tonight.

Just before his encore performance of “Living”, Spencer had some fun with the recording artist, discussing how the singer makes yearbooks for each and every one of his tours, his upcoming birthday (and giving him Whiskey-infused cupcakes to celebrate), as well as, reminding fans about his upcoming tour, ‘Burning Man Tour’ with special guests, Jon Pardi, Tenille Townes, and Hot Country Knights, slated to begin in Canada this January.

One of the most charming moments in the short interview was when Bentley gave all of the credit to the fans after Spencer asked how he keeps his energy up. The country star shared that he practices staying in the moment, as well as stating, “Oh man, I feed off the crowd so much. Just these fans that came up, some of them have been here sine 1:00 this morning. I take that energy with me all day. It’ll feed me the rest of the day. It’s all about the fans. Especially CMA Awards.” Check out the conversation here.

Just after this sentiment, Bentley and his band took the stage again to close out the segment with “Living”. Stay tuned for another performance from Bentley and many other country music artists tonight at 8 pm on ABC during the CMA Awards, and make sure to follow us on Twitter, as we live-tweet our favorite moments from what is sure to be an epic night of music.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood Visit ‘Good Morning America’

Carrie Underwood Brad Paisley

Photo via www.abcnews.go.com

Country music superstars and co-hosts, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood sat down with ‘Good Morning America’ anchors, Michael Strahan and Robin Roberts earlier this morning to discuss the upcoming 52nd annual CMA Awards. The country musicians obvious chemistry and charm was center stage during the segment. Country music’s biggest night will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 14th at 8 pm EST on ABC.

Roberts gave the co-hosts a warm welcome at the start of the segment, while also reminding fans to tune into her Pre-CMA special on Sunday evening. “We are less than a week away from country music’s big night. We’re talking about the 52nd annual CMA Awards. Must see TV! This Sunday, I will have the pleasure of sharing some conversations with some of country’s biggest stars- It’s the tenth year that I’ve done this, and we have got two of the biggies right here, right now, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. I cannot believe this is the 11th year that you all will be co-hosting together.”

Underwood, who looked beautiful in a black dress and Paisley, who dressed in his signature cowboy hat and a leather bomber jacket, discussed some of their favorite parts of hosting together. Underwood shared that she loved getting to spend time, writing the script together; while Paisley mentioned how fun it is to get to make the fans and fellow artists laugh and have fun, usually at their expense.

Strahan and Robins switched gears to congratulate the songstress on being pregnant with her second baby; however, conversation found its way back to the CMA Awards, when they reminisced on when Paisley accidentally revealed the gender of Underwood’s first baby, live on air in 2014, during the hosting gig. The Cry Pretty singer chose to keep the gender under wraps this time, even after Strahan tried to convince her otherwise.

Check out those sweet moments and others from GMA here.

The award show with hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley are just around the corner! Make sure to stay tuned for our recap of CMA Awards broadcast next week, and follow us NYCountry Swag on Twitter, as we live-tweet the show.
