Country Music is Dominating Talk Show Television…

Over the past 24 hours, country music has dominated our televisions with four major acts singing their latest hits on leading talk shows. Filmed live in NYC, check out the spectacular performances below…

Midland performed their most recent single, “Make A Little” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The trio is nominated for two Grammys this Sunday night airing live from New York City’s, Madison Square Garden on CBS.

Rising star, Ashley McBryde, made her late night television debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers.  She sang her lead single, “Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega” from her forthcoming LP, Girl Going Nowhere.

Pop singer, Bebe Rexha teamed up with country superstars, Florida Georgia Line, to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The three hit the stage to perform their hit single, “Meant to Be”. The song is currently celebrating it’s eight week at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and #17 on the all-genre Hot 100.

Earlier this morning, Devin Dawson made his Today Show debut to sing his breakout hit, “All on Me” as well as another track, “Asking for a Friend”.  The songs come off his debut album, Dark Horse, which released last week.

Just two days before Christmas, Tyler and Hayley Hubbard welcomed a beautiful bundle of joy, Olivia Rose.  One half of Florida Georgia Line told People.com in their exclusive coverage of the new family,  “I think it’s something that God doesn’t let men do for a reason — I don’t know if we could get through it,” Tyler says with a laugh, adding that he “100 percent” has a new respect for both Hayley “and all women who have babies.”

FGL House

Where to Eat/Drink in Nashville: FGL House, Perfect for “Party People”

FGL House NYCountry Swag

There are plenty of bars along the downtown Nashville strip, a ton of places with live music and good drinks or food, however, if you are looking for a unique experience head to FGL House.  The four-story venue lives and breathes Florida Georgia Line.  The duo opened the restaurant/bar earlier this year and fans from all over the world are walking through the doors to experience this one of a kind venue.

The walls are lined with memorabilia, certified records and even iconic outfits the duo has worn in the past.  The rustic woodwork, incredible art and overall vibe of the atmosphere allow patrons to feel like they are hanging out at FGL’s home. Every level has a unique feel, there are even chandeliers made up entirely of wooden guitars.

The appropriately titled “Cruise” rooftop level offers an amazing view of downtown Nashville and is a great place to hear live music. If you are here for the food, the kitchen delivers some incredible appetizers and entrees’, created by the band’s very own tour chef.  During our lunch at the venue, we were treated to the Bavarian Jumbo Pretzel with a special mustard aioli and queso blanco and the delicious Dirty Kettle Chips topped with smoked pulled pork, crispy bacon, chives, smoked cheddar queso and drenched in bbq sauce.

With so many options to choose from including Southern Fish Tacos to Shrimp and Grits, ultimately the New York Country Swag team decided on the Nashville Hot Chicken salad, dressed with a delicious cilantro ranch and the “No Joke Mac N’ Cheese” which has thick bacon, beer pulled chicken, smoked white and yellow cheddars, and cavatappi pasta.

[Watch] #TBT Florida Georgia Line & Chase Rice “Gettin’ Down in a Pirate Town”

Kicking off our very first of a #TBT Series, we bring you this week’s find – “Getting’ Down In A Pirate Town.”

The setting is the streets of Downtown Nashville, in June of 2011. Jesse Rice, Chase Rice, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are standing on a street corner singing a song they wrote as part of a coastal-inspired album after taking a trip down to the Florida Keys.  This video, taken a year before the four songwriters hit big with “Cruise” features four friends before their lives changed forever.  (Cue the chills.)

The track along with 15 other beachy, Carribean themed songs can be found here on Jesse Rice’s first installment of The Pirate Sessions.

Shannon O’Connor/Andrew Ambrosecchio/Jimmy O’Connor/Johnny Wagner – Thanks for sending this video our way.  Do you have a favorite #TBT Video? Send it our way – [email protected]
