Ella Langley Shares Brand New Song “Dandelion” Ahead of Next Project

Ella Langley shares her brand new song, “Dandelion,” out now on all streaming platforms. Get all the details and listen below.

Ella Langley has been an absolute force in country music since she came on to the scene. With multiple awards to her name, number one songs, and a diehard fanbase, Langley is on the fast track to superstardom. While her debut album, hungover was incredible, we expect her sophomore album, Dandelion to up the ante. As fans await the project, which is slated to be released on April 10th, the title track is officially out now to listen to.

“I want this record to be something that fans can relate to, but also something they want to get up and dance to at the same time,” shared Langley in a recent press release. “To me, this record feels like fireflies in the summertime. It feels like windows down on a red dirt road. It feels like the best kind of Sunday afternoon. It feels like those days I remember as a kid where it felt like there weren’t enough hours in the day. This record is really a love letter to that.”

Dandelions carry a deeper symbolism of hope and healing, which is expressed through the song, “Dandelion.” The songstress allows her honest storytelling and piecing vocals to lead the prolific song. The track marks the second song off the upcoming album, following the hit, “Choosin’ Texas.”

“Dandelion” truly marks the beginning of a new, beautiful era for Langley and her music. We are ready for a new era!

Riley Green & Ella Langely Go Number One with “Don’t Mind If I Do”

Riley Green and Ella Langley go number one this week at country radio with “Don’t Mind If I Do.” Get all the details here!

In the last few years, Riley Green and Ella Langley’s combined talents have taken the country world my storm. Last year, their song, “you look like you love me,” catapulted to the top of charts, while also earning both artists countless awards and accolades. Rounding out 2025, their collaborative song, “Don’t Mind If I Do” is the special song. “Don’t Mind If I Do” is officially the top song at country radio this week.

A solo write for Green, the song was written as a duet. While Green was touring with Langley, he asked her to sing on the song to get a feel for how the duet would sound. Her vocals sounded so good that Green couldn’t picture anyone else duetting on the track. “Don’t Mind If I Do” featuring Ella Langley was born.

“I’ve been doin’ better, I hardly ever think of you, lately // It ain’t all sunshine // When you cross my mind, I start missin’ you like crazy // I try to numb the pain, but there ain’t no damn way // I end up in that place and I’m just one whiskey away // And I don’t mind if I do // Drink up the nerve to show up at your house // If you wanna know the truth // It’s killin’ me not holdin’ you right now // I’m one memory away from fallin’ all the way apart // ‘Cause I might still love you // Hope you don’t mind if I do”

Congrats to Green, Langley, and their teams on an impressive number one! Both artists consistently show their staying power in the country music genre.

While Langley could not be any more appreciative for the number one, she shared a sentimental thank-you to her songwriting parter, Joybeth Taylor too via Instagram.

“There’s no one more deserving than you JBT. If you love my music, you also love Joybeth. I wouldn’t be the same without my sister in song and my favorite/best writing buddy. Sitting a on plane flying back to Nashville with tears rolling out of my eyes thinking about how much we’ve talked about this moment and what it means to actually have it together. We did it JB.”

“Yeah, if it was a different time // Might’ve been different in a different life // Maybe that plane wouldn’t ever take off // Maybe that dust wouldn’t fly off the drive // Maybe that tumbleweed and me // Wouldn’t leave every other sunrise // Maybe I’d settle down, dig in some roots // Find me a farmhouse, find me a you // Maybe I wouldn’t be already gone again // If it weren’t for the wind”

Here is Ella Langley’s Deluxe Album ‘still hungover’

Ella Langley releases the deluxe version of her debut album, still hungover, out now, November 1st on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new project here.

Riding high on the success of her debut album, hungover, Ella Langley has added a few new tracks, releasing a deluxe edition, out now. On still hungover, the country chanteuse adds four new songs, each allowing the singer-songwriter to further solidify herself as one of the genre’s most exciting new stars.

Like on the standard edition, each of the additional tracks were co-written by Langley, alongside Nashville heavyweights like Natalie Hemby, Jordan Schmidt, and Jonny Clawson. Heartache continues to be a prevalent theme on the new tracks,  weaving its way through each impassioned and vulnerable note.

With her unique tone and uncanny vulnerability, Ella Langley has been routinely labeled as one to watch in country music. With the release of her debut full-length album, hungover, out now, she proves why.

Included here are the previously released “Weren’t for the Wind,” which marks Langley’s biggest solo debut to date, and the breezy “Made It Out of Mexico.” While “Wind” is a Fleetwood Mac-esque smoky earworm, “Mexico” is a lush ode to tropical love. Over stunning acoustic guitars, she leaves her heart in Mexico after a romantic vacation tryst.

“I’m still swimmin’ in your rum drunk eyes // Kissing you intoxicated I’m still seeing through a sunburnt sky // Not a song went by we wasted // Couldn’t get enough of each other’s touch // Had me at the first hello // Still got that ticket from the plane that flew me home // But I never made it out of Mexico// I never made it out of Mexico”

Likewise, “20-20” and “Girl You’re Taking Home” are both about ill-fated loves. On “20-20,” she’s dealing with the deception that came from an ex, realizing the mistakes she’s made and that hindsight is always different. “Can’t even tell you what’s hurtin’ worse,” She muses. “The fact that I fooled myself or you made a fool of me.”

Finally, “Girl You’re Taking Home” is truly a stunning, slow burning ballad about being the other woman. Here, she wonders why she’s only good enough for a sometime lover, instead of the girl he takes home.

“If i was good enough to be your last call // Why is she the one you call your mama about // After seein’ all the b.s. I saw // Why is she the one who sees your best side now // If i’m first thing on your mind // The second she lets go // Then why ain’t i the girl you’re taking home.”

For Ella Langley, the new songs on her deluxe album only deepen the story of the heartbreak and heartache that pervaded hungover, in a way that still leaves the listener wanting more.

Ella Langley: ‘hungover’ – Debut Album Review

Ella Langley releases her debut album, hungover, out now, August 2nd on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new project here.

With a uniquely honeyed tone and an uncanny vulnerability, Ella Langley has been routinely labeled as one to watch in country music. With the release of her debut full-length album, hungover, out now, she proves why.

The collection features fourteen new tracks, all written or co-written by the Alabama native, alongside Nashville heavyweights like Will Bundy, Brett James, Rhett Akins, Laura Veltz, and more.

“This has been my dream for my whole entire life, so releasing my very first record is a really good feeling, and I’m so proud of it,” Langley says of the Sawgod Records/Columbia LP. “Before this record was even finished, I remember driving around in my car listening to ‘Hungover,’ and it hit me that it was the perfect title to encapsulate this era of my life and all the feelings I’ve poured into the songs. There’s a lot of different ways you can be hungover, but Lord knows every hangover hurts.”

That hurt is a prominent theme throughout the collection, weaving its way in different ways through Langley’s emotive grit and soulful sound. Her lyrics are smart and clever, telling incredibly vulnerable stories in a way that’s both poignant and triumphant.

The titular track is an immediate example of Langley’s prowess as both a songwriter and a vocalist, her stunning tone punctuating the mournful ballad that burns with the ache of a toxic relationship. Over bluesy electric guitars, her soulful vocals cascade through the ode to last call mistakes and the subsequent hangover that comes the next morning.

“Yeah I’m hungover // Still a long way from sober // Dammit I’m hurtin’ // This morning I’m learning // How much that Bourbon in your kiss don’t lead to closure // And yeah I’m hungover // This on again, off again is takin’ its toll // I try but I can’t seem to tell myself no”

“Love You Tonight” tackles a similar theme, as she deals with the aftermath of “doing what I swore I wouldn’t do. It’s a modern day retelling of Lee Ann Womack’s “I May Hate Myself in the Morning,” as she proclaims, “Gonna love you tonight, gonna hate me tomorrow.”

Heartache songs are foremost on the album, but no two are alike. “I Blame the Bar” is one of the most unique lyrical breakup tracks in recent memory, blaming the place of the meet cute for her heartbreak, as opposed to the guy who did the breaking. Meanwhile, “Better Be Tough” is an almost raucous pop-rock-tinted kiss off to a cheating boyfriend that shows Langley isn’t taking a guy’s BS.

On “Paint the Town Blue,” she’s drinking to forget her pain, accepting that she needs to drown her sorrows to truly move on, while “Cowboy Friends” finds her moving up and moving on to get over a terrible ex. The song finds her channeling hints of Miranda Lambert meets Kacey Musgraves, with its unapologetic lyrics as she looks past one bad boy to the next. “So saddle up and ride away, It ain’t like it was love anyways,” She sings teasingly. “I won’t have no trouble rounding up the next when this ends, I’ve got me more than a few cowboy friends.”

Langley is sunny and optimistic on tunes like “Nicotine,” which finds her looking for a new love to be her new addiction, while “You Look Like You Love Me” is a clear stylistic standout on the album. Featuring fellow Alabama native Riley Green, the viral release finds the pair mixing spoken verses with a singsong chorus on the uniquely timeless country track.

“Girl Who Drank Wine” and “Closest to Heaven” are classic country story songs, with the former a smoky-bar Western that tells the tale of a one night stand where the girl walks away with a cowboy’s heart. Meanwhile, “Heaven” provides an especially ethereal moment, recalling the kind of eternal love between her grandparents that is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth.

Three of the album’s most special tracks come late in the album, with “Monsters” finding her both utterly  vulnerable and relatable. On the introspective track, she battles the “real monsters” living inside her head, dealing with self-doubt, painful memories, and being her own worst critic.

“Inside my head I over-analyze // Let my worst critic criticize // Every last mistake I ever made // Every woulda, coulda, shoulda, on replay // I’ve got some real monsters // Livin’ inside my head // Memories I’d like to leave // Shoved up under my bed // Caught up in a bad dream // Don’t even have to sleep // To see every regret, take it from me // I’ve got some real monsters // Livin’ inside my head”

The album’s final two tracks are both sparse and acoustic, with “Cowgirl Don’t Cry” shining as an ode to a girl who has been numbed by heartbreak. Finally, “Broken In” closes the album in a stunning manner, her voice on full display as she sings that oftentimes, things are better when they’ve been used. Ranging from horses to trucks to hearts and hands, things are just better when they’ve got some miles and some scars.

For Ella Langley, that is true of the music on hungover, each song showing pain and scars that ultimately led to something beautiful.

Rising stars, Kameron Marlowe and Ella Langley are forces in their own right. While the collaboration might be unexpected to some, Marlowe and Langley prove that their voices gel together effortlessly. Their new duet, “Strangers” will leave you speechless and reeling from just one listen.

“Strangers” kicked off with Marlowe singing the first verse. He sets the scene of what it is like to be in the midst of a break-up. Soon there after, Langley’s harmonies come on line, and it brings a beautiful push-pull to the dynamics of the song and the story. “Strangers” conveys all the confusing feelings that we are often left with after a break-up. Both Marlowe and Langley bring their a-game vocals to agonizingly beautiful song.

“We can’t be friends // We can’t be lovers // We can’t be weekend drinking, leaning on each other // We can’t ‘be falling off the wagon // Talking ’bout what happened // Where does that leave you and me // There’s too much love // There’s too much anger // We can’t be friends // And we can’t be strangers // We can’t be strangers”

While Marlowe and Langley may not have been a collaboration we expected, the song is one of the best duets we have heard in a long time. “Strangers” is a must-listen to!
