Recording artist Lily Rose, quite literally rose to fame thanks to TikTok. Her song “Villain” is one of our favorite songs on radio right now, and she is an absolute force. Rose caught the attention of Big Loud Records / Back Blocks Music and Republic Records who signed her to a joint-venture record deal in Jan. 2021. With over four million likes and over 600K followers on the platform alone, Rose is absolutely the real deal!

Noah Schnacky

Although Noah Schnacky was known before TikTok, the platform has exponentially increased his fanbase. The talented singer-songwriter has 6.7 million followers on TikTok alone. One of his recent singles, “She Broke My Heart” blew up on the platform and continues to make waves for Schnacky.

CB30

One of our favorite brother duo’s CB30 have 2.4 million fans on TikTok. They continuously post both comedic pranks on the platform, as well as, killer covers and original songs. Most recently, Christian and Brody covered “drivers license” by Olivia Rodrigo, which fans went crazy for. This led the duo to release their own official cover of the track to all streaming platforms. They also just released their original new song, “Healthy.”

Priscilla Block

Priscilla Block earned her record deal because of a viral TikTok hit! Her song “Just About Over You” is still trending on the platform and she is about to make her Grand Ole Opry debut this month. It is safe to say that Block is killing it. To learn more about her, check out our interview with the artist here.

Andrew Jannakos

With just under 800k followers on TIkTok, Andrew Jannakos became a bonafide sensation after his wife posted a video of him singing his song “Gone Too Soon” on the platform. Now, the singer is a signed artist, and his second single “Wine Country” was released just a few weeks ago. We are loving his talent, and cannot wait to see him blossom.

Kierra Lewis

Rounding out our list is Kierra Lewis. The incredible comedian is a superstar in the making. She went viral on TikTok with a comedic rant about Sam Hunt, and her newfound fame is proving to be one that we can all enjoy together in country music. Andrew Jannakos: Gone Too Soon – EP Review

Andrew Jannakos’ debut EP, Gone Too Soon, is out now, June 4th, on all streaming platforms. With 6 tracks, including the breakout single and title track, take a look below as we dig a little deeper into the new music.

From a contestant on ‘The Voice’ to an overnight TikTok sensation, Andrew Jannakos is now a signed recording artist with Sony Music Nashville who just released his 6-track debut EP, Gone Too Soon

The EP shares a title with his debut single and the song that launched his career thanks to an overnight viral TikTok posted almost a year ago, in July of 2020. When Jannakos released the studio version of the song, it reached #12 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. If you want to know more about Jannakos’ journey into country music, check out our Swag Spotlight we did back in December of 2020 that shares everything about his childhood and musical influences, to his family and support system, as well as his career growth beginning with his time on The Voice and continued through his social media exposure.

Since our interview with Jannakos, he has released two more singles: Wine Country, released in March, and Somebody Loves You, released just last month. Gone Too Soon includes three new songs in addition to the three pre-released singles and each song on the collection was co-written by Jannakos.

This collection is an excellent introductory project for Jannakos as a singer-songwriter. He shares his soft and vulnerable side and can’t help but show the immense love he has for his family. “Like Yesterday” reflects on how quickly time can flies since the moment you meet your person, but how it can also feel like you’ve been together for a lifetime.

“A lifetime ago // When I picked you up then dropped you off back home // Fifty years could pass our hearts beat just as close as they did on that night when we first kissed // Ain’t it crazy babe the way love moves fast and slow // Feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago”

“Somebody Loves You” is about finding that someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with while “We’ve Always Loved” acknowledges the ups and downs of a relationship but also the strength to always stay by each other’s side through it all.

“the hot, the cold, the lows, the highs // from better days to harder nights // the one thing that ain’t ever changed about us // we’ve always loved”

Andrew Jannakos Drops Sexy New Song, “Wine Country”

Andrew Jannakos’ steamy new song, “Wine Country” is available now, March 26th on all streaming platforms. Written by Jannakos with Jason Afable, Eric Mallon, and Alex Pennington Smith, take a look below as we dig a little deeper into the track.

We love a new artist that is just as talented as they are humble. Singer-songwriter, Andrew Jannakos fits the bill! After a stint on NBC’s The Voice, it was a viral TikTok that his wife posted that changed his life forever. Learn more about the singer’s journey here on our artist spotlight interview. Following up his smash “Gone Too Soon,” Jannakos just released “Wine Country.”

The new song shows off the singer’s vulnerable and sensual side. It is hard not to imagine yourself in the song, as you listen to the mesmerizing lyrics. Jannakos’ vocals are even more impressive. He manages to feel current, laid-back, and enticing all in one three-minute tune. “Wine Country” is all about romance, and the track is the ultimate advocate for country love songs.

“I could be your George Jones // Little six-string picking gonna hold on // Til the crickets stop singing pedal steel moan // You and I just swaying in the moonlight // Wanna lay you on down to some wine country // Wanna lay you on down to some wine country”

Teasing the track first on TikTok, the steamy chorus caught the attention of fans everywhere, blowing up on Jannakos’ social media channel. It is clear that the singer has an impressive fanbase to support each and every new release. We are so curious as to what a full-length project will look like from the newcomer. Until then, we know new music will be headed down the pipeline later in the year.

Who Is Andrew Jannakos? The Story Behind His Journey to Country Music

Who Is Andrew Jannakos? Talented new country SONY Nashville recording artist, whose debut song “Gone Too Soon” went viral.

Andrew Jannakos

This week’s Swag Spotlight artist, Andrew Jannakos is a newly signed recording artist that we are super excited about. Fans may recognize his name from NBC’s The Voice or from social media, especially TikTok, but we are positive that you are going to remember his name because of his incredible talent. We chatted with the singer-songwriter about his journey and his passion for music.

A Georgia-native, Jannakos expressed his gratitude for his upbringing and his supportive family throughout the entire interview. Growing up north of Atlanta, the singer found an interest in music through his parents and grandfather. “Music was always there. Music was always a part of my life. My grandfather was a musician and had a bluegrass band and my mom has a great voice,” he shared with us, even adding later that he would listen to The Carpenters and scores from musicals with his mother in the car.

However, growing up as a 90s kid, Jannakos was all about being outside. At as young as five years old, he would go hunting with his father, and of course, country music was the soundtrack to their adventures. I was always raised on country music and raised on southern rock like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Journey, The Eagles, and all those southern rock bands. So country was always the forefront of what I did.”

Of course, Jannakos also credits more current artists, especially Brad Paisley for his passion for the craft. “Brad Paisley is a huge inspiration to my music and just the way that I look at country music. You know he writes- his older stuff, his 90s stuff growing up, just told such a great story, and it got me through a lot of dark times in my life,” adding, I have a different level of respect just because it got me through so much stuff.”

When high school ended, the singer pursued a career in hospitality, working at restaurants and bartending, honing his craft as a chef as well. “I never thought that I would pursue music as a career, I never thought that that would be an option,” he shared with us, later coming to a different realization, “It took me a long time to figure out that music was the thing that I wanted, it was the thing that I wanted to do with the rest of my life”.

That notion changed when he met his now wife and her young son. “She’s my biggest supporter,” he declared, “She saw me before I was even me […] She believed in me the moment she heard me sing.” With the support of his wife and her son, Jannakos took the little bit of momentum he got from The Voice, and continued to use social media as a platform for his music.

With some doors opening, Jannakos headed to a writer’s retreat in Chattanooga, Tennesee to write with some talented songwriters at the beginning of this year. It was at that retreat that he wrote his breakout single “Gone Too Soon” with Jason Afable and Joshua Clements Bricker. “We wrote the song in January,” he began, “I held it for a while, thinking about pitching it to some people, and I was finally like ya know what, why don’t I just cut it, and my wife was like ‘I’ve been telling you that for 5 months.’”

Once the entertainer finally received the final master back for the track, his wife encouraged him to post a Tiktok of him singing along to the song while cooking. After some hesitation on his part, he agreed, and the song went viral overnight, which eventually led to his record deal with SONY Nashville.

The track depicts the story of a long-distance relationship for Jannakos, but he acknowledges that others may connect to the song differently. “I just love country music. I just love music,” shared the singer, “So many people can connect to a song just through lyrics and it’s really inspiring to just want to continue to make good music.”

Jannakos is sure to continue to make waves with his original music. He anticipates a lot of new music coming down the pipeline next year, and fans can even get glimpses of unreleased tunes on his social media now. Jannakos is definitely one of the first on our list to see live when he is able to head out on the road to celebrate his accomplishments and of course “Gone Too Soon!”
