Russell Dickerson Shares Brand New Song “The Roses”
Russell Dickerson’s new song, “The Roses” is out now, February 6th, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand-new track below.
Russell Dickerson is truly having the time of his life in country music as of late. After a huge 2025 for RD, 2026 is already panning out to be another huge year for the artist. Today, the singer-songwriter shares a brand new song with fans. “The Roses” is officially out now.
“It just hit me, girl, what I was born to do // You be the roses // I’ll be the vase // You be the starry night and the spotlight // And girl, I’ll be the frame // You be the California cab // I’ll be the glass you’re poured into // Girl I’m fine, long as I’m holding you”
While Dickerson released some of the best high-energy songs in his catalog last year, (“Happen To Me” and “Worth Your Wild” today’s new song is a stripped-back ballad, reminiscent of other hit songs like “Yours.” His new song, “The Roses” speaks to the love he has for his wife, while inviting fans to think of their person too as they listen to the song. RD has always been great at sharing his honest feelings through music, and this song does just that. Written by the singer with heavy-hitters, Chase McGill, Jordan Schmidt, and Michael Hardy (HARDY), “The Roses” feels like a special addition to Dickerson’s growing catalog.
