Parmalee and Blanco Brown Duet on “Just The Way”

Good friends Parmelee and Blanco Brown just released their song “Just The Way”, which they first performed on Sunday Night Football this week. It’s a song that is perfect for your weekend playlist, especially if you are having a bad day and need a confidence boost. 

Written by Matt Thomas, Kevin Bard, and Nolan Sipe, “Just the Way” is an upbeat song that encourages accepting and loving people for just the way they are, including their imperfections. Living in a world of social media, many people feel the pressure of having to live a perfect life. Posting the ideal picture, showing off their perfect relationship. However, we all know that no matter how hard you may try, no one is perfect. This song is a reminder that it is okay to have flaws and 

“I love you just the way God made you\ Girl, he don’t make mistakes\ What you call your imperfections\ I call beautiful babe\ So let my eyes be your mirror\ And you’re bound to see it too\’Cause I was made for loving you\ Just the way God made you”

Parmalee starts out the song with Brown coming in during the second verse. How they all come together during the chorus and bridge really highlights how well their voices mesh.  We could listen to them sing together all day.
