Luke Combs Earns Back to Back Number Ones on Country Radio

Luke Combs continues his streak of number ones with two different songs going number one at country radio this week and last week. “Sleepless in a Hotel Room” is the number one song at country radio this week.

Every song that Luke Combs puts out to country radio seems to make its way to the top! The superstar is going to go down in history as one of the most successful country artists of his time. Last week, Combs earned the top spot on the country radio charts with his song, “Days Like These.” This week, the superstar took over his own number one spot, with “Sleepless in a Hotel Room” making its way to the top of the charts.

Another smash hit for Combs, “Sleepless in a Hotel Room” was inspired by a true story, where the singer was missing his then gifriend, now wife, Nicole, while away from her. While not everyone can relate to the life of an entertainer, “Sleepless in a Hotel Room” is a song for anyone who loves and misses someone they can’t see right now. Much like “Days Like These,” Combs’ honesty and authenticity shines.

“I can hear the lonely howlin’ out my window // I can feel the whiskey not do anything // It’s two in the morning, TV’s on and // I’ve never felt so far from home // I can hear the lonely howlin’ out my window // The morning light can’t come too soon // Lyin’ here, not next to you // Wide awake, I dream of you // Sleepless in a hotel room”

Congrats to Combs and his team on another monumental feat! It’s only a matter of time before his next radio single hits the top of the charts.
