Reigning ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year, Lauren Alaina took the stage last night for the first time on NBC’s ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers.” The songstress sang her sassy hit single, “Ladies in the ’90s,” which she co-wrote with talented songwriters Jesse Frasure and Amy Wadge.

With her record in hand, host Seth Meyers excitedly introduced Alaina to the stage sharing, “Performing her hit “Ladies in the ’90s,” please welcome to the show, Lauren Alaina everyone!” The singer-songwriter gave a shout-out to the host on Twitter, tweeting a cute picture of the two with a sweet sentiment, just before the show aired. The tweet stated “Seth, I adMEYER you so much. It’s an honor to be on @LateNightSeth,” adding a message to her fans, “Y’all be sure to tune in tonight @sethmeyers #LNSM.”

Alaina took the stage, accompanied by a four-piece band. Stunning with her vocals, sass, and beautiful dress, the singer gave a performance of her catchy and upbeat tune. Alaina appeared to have so much fun on stage and her personality shined through with every note. The track celebrates female artists of the 1990s across all genres of music, and it was clear that Alaina was embodying those fabulous artists with her confidence and stage presence. Alaina is set to bring her epic vocals and performance to the big stage in her supporting role on Blake Shelton’s ‘Friends and Heroes 2019 Tour, which will run midway through June. She is accompanied by singers, John Anderson, The Bellamy Brothers, and Trace Adkins. The tour does not currently have a stop in the New York area, but Shelton, Alaina, and the other openers will perform in Connecticut at the Mohegan Sun Arena on March 21st.
