If you have tickets to Lauren Alaina’s ‘That Girl Was Me’ Tour originally scheduled for the fall, you will have to wait until January 2020 to catch the reigning ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year.  Alaina announced this morning on Instagram that she will be postponing her ‘That Girl Was Me Tour’ due to her guest spot on the dancing competition Dancing With The Stars. She shared in the caption “This was THE hardest decision ever, but my team and I have decided to postpone the #ThatGirlWasMeTour to do Dancing With The Stars. After talking to a few of my friends who have been on the show, I realized I couldn’t give the show and the tour 100%. I always want to deliver the best performances I can, so we have moved the tour to early next year. Dancing with the Stars is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I am so excited about.” She adds that tickets will be available for a refund if you can’t make the new tour date.

Alaina joins superstars like Karamo Brown from Netflix’s Queer Eye, the lastest Bachelorette Hannah Brown, Dawson’s Creek actor James Van Der Beek and many more. For the full cast and more information about the cast this season click here.

The tour will kick off with two dates in Nashville on January 15th & 16th and makes a stop in New York City at Bowery Ballroom on January 27th before ending the run on February 8th in Atlanta, Georgia. Fans can keep an eye out for additional tour dates which will likely be added in the coming future. One of our 2019 Artists To Watch, Filmore will remain as her direct support for the entirety of the tour.

Alaina has been a rising star in the country music genre ever since being named the runner-up on the tenth season American Idol. Since then, she has been perfecting her songwriting craft and has celebrated two number one hits, “Road Less Traveled” which was the title track to her 2017 sophomore album as well as a duet with Kane Brown “What Ifs”.

By the time she starts her ‘That Girl Was Me’ Tour, fans can look forward to incredible dance moves to enhance her live show even more.

Be sure to root for Lauren Alaina when the show premieres on Monday, September 16th, on ABC.
