Karley Scott Collins Releases New Song “Tattoos”

Karley Scott Collins’ brand new song, “Tattoos,” is out now, April 1st, on all streaming platforms. Listen to the brand new track below.

Singer-songwriter, Karley Scott Collins is following up her debut release, “Heavenly” with another incredible song. Collins’ new song “Tattoos” is full of artistry and charisma. She continues to prove how talented she is equally as a singer, songwriter, and entertainer.

The new track, “Tattoos” is melancholy and emotive. Written about a painful time in life, Collins taps into a whole new level of emotions on her second release. “Tattoos” expresses the permanency and the pain we all feel following a break-up and a great loss. The song is poetic, thought-provoking, and riveting, all adjectives we would also use to describe Collins and her talent.

“The way that you walked up and kissed me // The way that I sang for you // Nothing can bring up old memories // Like the songs we made our memories too // Sometimes it hurts to remember // But how can I ever forget // It’s in permeant ink all the pictures and places, can’t wash you off and it’s making me crazy // Under my skin, and my least favorite shade of blue // and I never wanted tattoos.”

Collins’ artistry stretches beyond her vocal ability too. On both “Tattoos” and “Heavenly,” she drew the artwork for the cover art. This shows how individual and personal she wants her music to be. “Tattoos” is definitely a song all country lovers need to listen to ASAP.
