Kane Brown earns another number one song at country radio with his single, “Bury Me in Georgia.” Learn all the details here.
Kane Brown is a bonafide superstar in the country music genre; despite, clearly showing talent across different genres of music. Back in February, Brown and his wife Katelyn earned a number one with their romantic duet, “Thank God.” Today, the singer marks his tenth number one single at country radio with “Bury Me in Georgia.”
A true ode to his home state, Brown’s single “Bury Me in Georgia,” climbed the country charts fast. The song, which impacted country radio back in April became a hit with fans seemingly upon first listen. While the song is about where he wants his final resting place to be, it reads like a love note to his home state. Much like his love for his fanbase, the entertainer also has a great appreciation for the state that raised him.
“Bury me in Georgia // Let me rest in peace // Underneath the pines // Yeah, yeah, yeah // Where my roots run deep // When it’s my day // Put me in that clay // And remember what I told ya // When I die // Bury me in Georgia”
Congrats to Brown and his team on a much-earned number one! “Bury Me in Georgia” continues to prove the singer’s staying power in country music!
