[Watch] Jillian Jacqueline Releases Music Video for “Priorities”
Almost a year ago to the date, New York Country Swag spotlighted the talented songstress, Jillian Jacqueline, after naming her one of our NYCS 2018 Artist to Watch. Flash forward, the singer-songwriter has released the charming music video for her song “Priorities” off her EP, Side B (Check out our First Impression review here). The music video premiered over the weekend, as part of CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown.
The visuals for “Priorities” showcase the recording artist as the centerpiece for the song, fitting effortlessly into the 70’s vibe of the video. Jacqueline has been teasing fans via her Instagram with stills and short clips of the psychedelic theme, since the start of the new year. The video, directed by Patrick Tracey is as colorful, bubbly, funky, and nostalgic, as both the track and its lyrics. Despite having directed her “Sad Girls” video as well, “Priorities” has a totally different feel than its predecessor. Viewers get to see Jacqueline dressed in a variety of 70’s inspired outfits, such as a look similar to supermodel Twiggy’s iconic style. The music video proves that the songstress has her own unique flavor, adding to her staying power as an artist. Check out the full-length, fun-loving music video below.
For this upcoming year, Jacqueline has already nailed down performing spots at some of the biggest country music festivals, including Tortuga Music Festival and Country Thunder.
