Jelly Rolls earns his sixth number song at country radio with his song “Liar.” Learn more about the song below!

Jelly Roll is an absolute superstar, and he proves it time and time again. Truly one of the good ones, Jelly Roll deserves all of his well-earned successes. At the end of 2024, Jelly’s song “I Am Not Okay” marked his fifth number one at country radio. Today, the singer-songwriter adds to his streak of hits with “Liar” topping the charts this week.

Much like many songs in his impressive catalog, “Liar” showcases Jelly Roll confronting his addictions head on. Throughout the song, the entertainer comes to terms with he effect of succumbing to temptation. “Liar” is vulnerable, honest, and raw – qualities that we have learned to expect from a Jelly Roll hit.

“You ain’t nothing but a liar // Yeah, I walked right out the fire // Yeah, you try to keep me down // Try to put me underground // But I’m only going higher // I can hear you in my head, in my bed, when I’m dreaming // You try to be my friend, but you’re blowing smoke // Oh, but now I ain’t scared of telling you where you can go // ‘Cause I know you’re nothing but a liar”

Congrats to Jelly Roll and his team on his sixth number one at country radio! We can’t wait to see what comes next.
